Salwar kameez dupatta is enough dress to comply to modesty requirement. Additional hijab is not necessary at least in classroom and school premises.
My 3 sisters and my daughter went to schools without burqa and my mother used to go in burqa as a teacher in girls school.

At present, Burqas are banned in Switzerland, Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Austria, and Bulgaria etc. Iranian Muslim women have been protesting against wearing hijab. In my workplace, see how religious exclusivity brought discontentment....for 3 years only 2-3 muslim folks were there in 20 ppl team, then it became 6-7 and they wanted a separate place to offer namaz, then it became we are namazis, we are better..or atleast different, then all talk was why one should follow zakir naik.....and Irish management folks could see this change, people were transferred and team was disbanded...sad... what hurts is this girl is now interviewed by BBC, NYT, CNN as a face of strong and great ISLAM for women...

When girls were stopped from wearing hijab, no one asked why they were being stopped, but they started arguing that we are muslims and hijab is our right.
"We are Muslim and Hijab is our right" , it was actually for France because France banned Hijab recently and the people there could not do anything.
