My son cooks for us...I used to cook every day until I had a stroke; now I am no longer able, and I miss it very much...last night, he made spaghetti and garlic toast and tonight he's making fried chicken and rice/gravy and green beans...he is a really good cook...
That sounds great, how nice that your son cooks for you.
Your son is such a good son. A good cook too. Delicious dinners he made.
I'm sorry to hear the news. Wishing you a speedy recovery ❤️❤️❤️
Hello, hello from New Jersey, USA. Thanks for posting another video, yippie❤
What a good son you have! Hope you get back all you lost from your stroke. 😊
This video made me hungry! Well, your videos typically do. 🙂 I don’t enjoy cooking but I do it because eating out is far too expensive. My issue with cooking is all the cleanup. Need to get better at one pot meals. Last night I made stir fry using tips picked up from you. It was delicious! I made it for 4 so that I have plenty of leftovers for lunches this week.
I mostly cook, but sometimes my husband cooks. He likes to cook Japanese food. We had falafel with vegetable couscous last night which I cooked. We're having leftover couscous tonight.
Lily I'm glad you got your unagi, hope you enjoyed it.😊
Finally, I got my unagi. I got it after talking to you actually 😁felt craving of it.
@@lilynguyen88 so glad👍 I've got a craving for it now🤣
Hi Lily! I love watching your videos. I was wondering if you have a recipe recommendation for miso soup? I enjoy it at recipes but haven't had luck with a recipe for home. Warm thoughts from London, Ontario!
Thanks Lynne for your comment. For miso soup, I usually cook the common one with soft tofu and seaweed, but you can add any kind of veggies you like actually. Bring water to boil and then add veggies and cook the veggies. After that make sure you turn off the heat first before dissolving miso paste. Tofu and seaweed can add before or after miso paste step. I usually add them in before. Personally, I like white miso( Hikari miso brand). It's a little bit pricey, so I usually use Dashi miso (Miko brand). I also add dashi to miso soup too. Make the taste better. Hope that helps🥰
@@lilynguyen88 Lily, thank you ever so much!! Hope you have a lovely week. 🥰
What did the unagi taste like? It looked like there was a sauce on it?
Yes, there was a sauce on it. I don't know how to describe it 😄 I think there is a little bit of fishy smell because it's grilled eel. The texture is more chewy than chicken. The sauce is sweet and savoury.
Just realizing how high prices are where you live currently.
That’s sad cause her price are far cheaper than mine !
