I’ve been doing this but with green sunfish and everytime i get bit i wait bout 20 seconds and start feeling and losin em every time. I’m new to live baitin so what do you think is it the sunfish or do i need to wait longer?
Honestly everyone says to use circle hooks and I have terrible luck with those so I use J hooks or even widegap worm hooks and just give then about 20-30 seconds and usually they have it good!
That's what I'm sayin...especially when you're fishing a pond it makes it a whole lot easier. Catfish get a whole lot bigger than that. But that's bass fisherman for you, no sense of any other type of fishing.
