In this TE12000 Automation video I am showing how even the vapor can be recovered from the system after extraction or use. Doing this allows you to access the tanks safely when opening. About 2-3% of the liquid vaporizes into gas and pressurizes the system during use. It is this percentage that is being recovered in this video.
No extraction is being performed in this video. The extractor automation is being trained to perform a few extractions for the customer. Extraction recipes or formulas are saved for later recall.
This is a fully automated, set it and forget it, system. You come back to extract that is solvent free and shut down safely.
The system is being run in manual mode to allow opening and closing the valves on the screen for special operations.
Releasing information to the public over the last 10 years was done slowly to protect the IP. As many know now there have been many attempts to copy the system but without all the information each attempt has failed.
I have heard attempts to define Tamisium Extractors so I thought since I chose the word as the name of my invention maybe I should explain it..
Tamisium is a latin word meaning " to Filter or Sieve " (Herman, p. 308). It was a neuter noun without gender and possibly plural but once adopted as the name of an extractor it became a proper noun tjhat names a new extraction process. New as in 15 years ago.
Tamisium being defined as to Filter or Sieve is therefore chosen as the appropriate name for an extractor that places a medium in a liquid solution and then filters that medium out. It is a closed passive solvation extractor that extracts by solution and suspension to some degree and then filtration. It is not exclusive to butane. A Tamisium can effectively use any liquid solvent with a boiling point conducive to being distilled rather than pumped. A Tamisium incorporates distillation to recover the solvent meaning it uses temp drop to condense the solvent because most solvents are flammable. It can use any solvent with a practical condensation temperature but really shines at extracting terpenes that require volatile solvents with low boiling points. A recovery machine is not an option because there is currently no Sanitary Rating on Recovery Machines rated for volatile flammable solvents indoors. This system is completely pump free. Enthalpy energy heat and cold runs the entire process at any temp you want to extract at.
All the controls one could ever want were allowed after looping was eliminated and the pump was removed over a decade ago. Building large enough tanks allowed an adequate amount of solvent to perform a complete extraction without being required to recover and loop the solvent back through the plant matter over and over again.
Therefore a Tamisium Extractor is not a closed loop extractor. It is a Volumized Closed Passive Extractor that uses an adequate amount of solvent in what is called a loading ratio which allows the extraction to be completed in one pass. Not looping and pump free gives the operator the ability to control the temperature contact time and formula of solvents having differing polarity so that we can target what we extract or avoid lipids that are not desired.
These two factors, adequate volumes of solvent and removal of the need to use a solvent recovery pump are what allow so much control over the solvent during the extraction process and make it the safest process.
It is imperative that the extraction process be isolated from the solvent recovery process to enable these controls. In the end all of the solvent can be removed easily making a solvent free extract.

I want to point out I have had a 2500 kilo BHO closed loop extractor in kansas for last 18 years no accidents no gas loss

How is this not closed loop? I would call this an automated closed loop dual assist recovery. The HMI allows automatic control and isolation tanks allow for biomass loading and recovery and the assist will aid in extra solvent recovery but I am only seeing closed loop batch process here and there are lots of things like it. I was part owner of a control integration firm(recently sold) and I have built these systems for ethanol production and other biomass industrial systems. Great looking equipment but I feel misled by title and some of the info in this

This is far from the best extraction machine, custom mkiv is far more versatile efficient and capable of giving you a top shelf extract every time. Tamisiums can make a great concentrate but so can many other less expensive machines, while also giving the throughput a large scale processor needs.
Do more research and build your own via Glacier tanks, discount hydraulic hose.com, Amazon.com (excellent resource for Dixon sanitary parts and unisource hoses) You'll save thousands, process more, and have much more flexibility moving forward.
I did all this research and im very active in the communtity, what have you done???
