Hi Joe, Love Coldplay, have been playing their music on bass guitar, but have just started playing keyboard, early days have been following your channel and have learned a lot in a very short time frame. Had lots of problems with my hands, tremors from having MS, have no movement from mid thigh down but can use sustain pedal by mounting it in front of my right knee, slight twist from the pelvis and bingo sustain, playing repetitive arpeggios has helped to calm the tremors in my hands. Best piano tutor on the net, big thank you.

Actually this progression was written by Avicii which you can clearly here if you break down the chord, he used this progression in a lot of songs only difference is the voicing and order of the chords

Sorry for poor joke...iv just rescued a 1910 piano from house clearance, its in bad way, plenty of patina, i was going to use it to have a large tv to rise from back of piano, but now iv found ur channel i can now impress my neighbours with Indiana Jones theme thru my thin dividing walls...ha...keep up the easy to learn stuff as im a beginner of beginners.

I like your energy and enthusiasm, great stuff!! Wouldn't it be better to call the chord in the first song a C flat major chord? I know it is equivalent to a B major chord, but it could be confusing for folks without any harmony knowledge, since a B major chord isn't in the G flat major key, whereas a C flat major chord is chord 4 of G flat major.

Fantastic once again, it's really interesting how having these things broken down helps you to hear the progressions in other songs, I'm sure that 4-5-6 progression crops up in Time After Time, you can certainly sing the tune over it. Your lessons really are so helpful for ear training.
