This route (both the 163, 164, and 413) actually use Single-Deck ADL Enviro200MMC on the BYD Electric chassis in the real world, having formerly used ADL Enviro200 buses with Optare/ELC Esteem Bodies, and prior to that, LPD-class Transbus Dart buses with single-door Mk1 Plaxton Pointer body, and Mk2 Pointer Body dual-door. Oh and both Raynes Park & Wimbledon Stations are managed by South Western Railway (SWR) on the South-Western mainline, while Wimbledon Chase, Merton South, and South Morden are both Thameslink Stations on the Sutton/Wimbledon loop line.
The WHV class B5LH is technically correct as a WHV was allocated for the school journey for the current contract though recently, the school journey seems to be increasingly run with one of the SEe class BYD Enviro 200 MMC's
Happy Christmas Joe. So glad to see/hear the cough has finally gone. This route looks great, I know Morden/Wimbledon areas, a little bit. But in general, the detail is excellent overall. Really captures outer London very well. As a railway worker myself, it's nice to actually know for once, you're going to get a day off and not be called the day before for RDW or 12 hours to cover.
Merry Christmas Joe! If you do a video using the Gemini 3 (B5LH) Hold the brake and accelerator pedal at the same time, then let go of the brake pedal out keep your foot on the accelerator, the Gemini 3 B5LH in osmi absolutely flies off if you do that sometimes it’s great fun to watch.
For Hartfield road you could always build the splines to go in and out of where the gaps in the parked cars are. Bit of a faff but it is an awkward road to model realistically as it involves a long way on the wrong side. When I drove the 163/4 normally another bus would let you come all the way up and just stay there with the right indicator on to stop traffic going round and coming towards us while we were on the wrong side. Maps looking fantastic so far.
Not been on omsi for about five months until yesterday and started by stripping Yorkshire 3.0 route's and started doing some of my own routes and adding traffic lights around Chancet Wood and bringing stop c into use at Waivesworth and a little change around Ingleborough plus the roadworks at Windhaven have gone. Kinda finding out how map building works lol
@Joe Dobson the bus that you were driving in this video an Hybrid Bus because i noticed occasionally it pulled away from the bus stops with the Engine turned off ?
1. You've drove the bus before on addon london like 2 yrs ago 2. The buses get dirty overtime it's quite a good feature you have to go back 2 depot to clean it
"The attention to detail, the bins the signage and the floating man across the road" 😂😭 Honsetly funniest quote ive ever heard
the bins, the signage and the floating man across the road got me rotfl lol (at 6:17 btw)
