Coloring red poinsettias is frustrating, because shading is hard. I have colored them using a green layer first, shading where it should be, and coloring with red over the green. It works pretty well. It is much better than shading gray over red! A poinsettia is solid, intense red. Your video reminds me to try this more often, especially with my 36 set of Uni Posca colored pencils.

That is a very interesting way to look at shading!! 👍 Or should I say cool?! 😎 😅 Just a suggestion, although, hopefully, it is just my phone, you may want to make sure your videos have smooth transitions and aren't jumpy? It will help your channel gain traction. My phone is a Samsung Galaxy.

@snickerdoodlingllc While playing, it keeps stopping and rewinding. It does it several times. I don't have issues with other videos doing that, but this one and the last one did that. I was hoping it was just the one-time thing. I will check if my TH-cam is up to date and replay them in case it was still loading when I played them.
