FINDING GOLD WITH A BATEA PAN

- In this video I search a new creek in Northern BC looking for a potential new claim. I decided I would use my Batea pan and create a video on how to use this style of gold pan. The Batea pan is actually one of the most common used pans around the world but not widely used in North America. When I'm out looking for new spots, 75 % of my days are just like this. Not much gold. But hey, at least you know where the gold isn't and you've discovered another beautiful section of river! Great vid 👍🏻⛏️
It's so true hey, most people think you can just head out searching for gold and come across huge deposits or flood gold pay streaks but most of the time is spent searching and coming up empty, but you cant beat a sunny day on the water so either way its a win.

That looks like a good area, and it is holding some chunky bits. I would chace it a little more. Great video, didnt much like the music . Just to repetitive I turned it down near the beginning so if you had commentary I missed it. Great video and looking forward to more!!

What kind of foot wear are you using. Looks more comfortable then boots.
Kirk Aldous They’re extremely comfortable boots. They’re MEC (Mountain Equipment Co-op) Paddling boots.
What product did you use to keep your legs dry.
Kirk Aldous Just wore the boots and jeans.
My Batea came in bare steel. Wished it was coated like yours.
@@Notellemkrik1776 mine came bare steel as well. I coated mine myself. Pick up black matte finish rustolium spray paint. Paint it up simple simple. ✨⛏

Kirk Aldous Nope it didn’t. I coated it myself so it wouldn’t rust.
How did you coat it. Did you have it powder coated
@@Notellemkrik1776 rustolium spray paint. Matte Black. I just sprayed it myself put a few coats on it. Let it dry.
video footage is cool, but please lose the constant looping beat. Music is nice to have, but the sounds of nature are nice too. I recently, also got a batea pan (XP) and I am enjoying it.
Everyone has a preference for music cant please everyone I like beats thats why i use them. Batea pans are great! I hope you find the motherlode with yours. Heavy Pans all the best in 2021
