- No, Mad Hatter's not a groupie who takes a mold of Batman's.....uh, okay...this is from the first Mad Hatter episode where Robin ends up tied to a plaster horse and Batman is stuck in a plaster mold of himself - his WHOLE self. This is a family website, ya know.
When I was a kid I couldn’t sleep for weeks after seeing the cliffhanger of batman in the plaster.
When I was a kid , we watched Batman every week.
@@johnbockelie3899 same bat time same bat channel
The actors playing the villains were having so much fun, you can see it in most every episode.
Great show! Now if I can get my wife to play Batman and Catwoman and tie me up!

David Wayne, who played the Mad Hatter, was a delightful character actor on film and television for many years. Take a look at his hilarious "craven coward" scene in the Katharine Hepburn-Spencer Tracy classic "Adam's Rib", or his performance as the crusty doctor Amos Wetherby in the undeservedly forgotten television series "House Calls", with Lynn Redgrave and Wayne Rogers. His turn as the Mad Hatter wasn't even the last time he went up against a crimefighting hero: in 1975, he appeared as an evil psychiatrist in the television version of the Broadway musical "It's A Bird...It's A Plane..."It's Superman!" (the whole film of which is available online, and which co-starred Lesley Anne Warren, Kenneth Mars, Al Molinaro, and Loretta Swit). He disables Superman by convincing him that his heroic feats prove that he's a neurotic narcissist (a clever idea, much more interesting than Kryptonite). As several people have observed in this "Comments" section, he was clearly having a ball playing over-the-top characters.
My favorite line , " My hat Factoreh."
( Factory)
He played Digger Barnes on Dallas. He also played the killer in the American remake of M.
I recently watched him in an episode of the TV show Night gallery.
Robin on that horse would make any man drool
Robin on that horse would have loved to be tied behind him pressing on his green panties ..Mmmmm
Robin tied up on a horse.
Robin the gagged wonder😂
There was no reason for that gag over his mouth, totally humiliating Robin!!
Some of the finest actors and comedians of cinema and stage showed up to guest on this. For the same reason they showed up on Batman. Once in awhile its just plain fun to camp it up, ham it up and play a tooth fairie, or Egghead, or a leprechaun or the Black Widow, etc. They did not need the money or the cred. They needed to have fun with the character!
I would have liked to have seen the Mad Hatter in a couple more episodes of the Batman 60's series. I liked him as a villain. I thought he was underrated.
David Wayne definitely had that unctuous tone that made the role come alive.
i remember seeing this episode first time when i was a kid during its run on abc it was a two parter wed and thur night this was the cliff hanger batman got plastured i worried all night next day during school how batman would escape and out of the plaster casing
2:03-2:20 - Such alliteration as Batman was first plastered! Great writers!
I think this was the only episode where you see Batman removing his cape and cowl. I was fascinated by the costume as a kid.
That would be the Contaminated Cowl.
That's the season 2 two-part episode, the Mad Hatter's second appearance on the show.
It turns out Batman does have a superpower? Super breath holding? Holy frogman!
I also like the way so many people just stand by and watch villains try to steal the Batmobile
When I first saw this scene on tv as a kid, I was with a female baby sitter. I asked her to tie me up like Robin to see if I could get out... I was never the same.
What happened?
A mí me pasó igual?
Robin on the horse !!!!!! HOLY HELPLESS BOYWONDER
fun fact about this specific Mad Hatter design, it's from a plot point in the silver age where someone was impersonating the real Mad Hatter. After he was revealed as such, they changed his name to Hatman. The reason he has the design of the fake Mad Hatter here is because this episode came before the plot twist.
Honestly I really want them to bring back Hatman. Even if they mess him up completely, some other writer will see it and do it for themselves better.
The humor during the fight scene was priceless.
I may have gotten into the bath the night after watching this and lathered up my entire body so i looked like the plaster lol.
"It's diabolical!"
This was the first episode of the Adam west batman i watched as a kid.
In 3d grade I missed how Batman got out of the plaster trap. I thought I was going to die
Can you imagine how hot it would have been if they would have shown Robin being placed on the plaster horse. OMG
holy homoerotica! I totally agree!.. think about it, picking him up, each one, each "bad guy", grabbing a leg and spreading it wide on each side of the horse, then tying his wrists together and gagging him and well as robin is trying to get loose, it looks like he is LITERALLY humping that plaster horse! a quick shot of the back would show his short yellow cape riding up and seeing his ass in those green trunks as he is trying to get loose, a quick side profile shot of him trying to get loose would also look like he is humping himself on that horse! One has to wonder why would a horse statue be there in the first place? someone who thought this scene up must have had "impure thoughts"! laugh!
Yes and trying to Moan through his tricky Bat Gagg. Mmmmmmppphhh
@@bogenbrunsson2141catwomen had the best traps for robin
I love the way he says "Hat factory" at 2:19. I quote that more than any other line from this series.
He's Norwegian.
I wish there was a scene where the goons were tying up Robin.
3:14 Fifty Shades Of Grayson.
...with a little Equus thrown in
@harriertalon I agree. And it would have been funnier -and hotter- if Mad Hatter's minions flogged Robin's little ass with a horse whip (giving that he's over a horse). Robin gagged was one of the best moments of this show... I wish they would have had more of Burt Ward bound and gagged, even as Robin or as Dick Grayson (wouldn't it have been great to have had a villain kidnap Dick, tie and gag him, without the mask?)
Robin gets Mezmerised
He should have said, "two BATS with one stone!" writers fail...
Not really...a bat and a robin are references to animals that fly even though a bat, scientifically, isn't considered a part of the bird species if one is to be technical...but the line is for humorous effect anyway...not to be taken seriously.
@@ACcountryFan 'It's coming alive!!' You forgot to take his utility belt, you moron!! Batman outsmarted you again!!
It should have been Batgirl covered in plaster.
Why did they tie Robins ankles under the horse? That makes it extra kinky.
There is something sexy about it, don't know why, but it raises the kink level.
So he wouldn't kick them.
For years I have always found Robin to be extremely sexy.
They could get to his lil. Pantyhose feet and should have slipped his pixie boots off.... So cute Mmmm
"Anti mesmerizing bat reflector," aka a broken piece of mirror.
Robin was second only to Lois Lane in his genius for getting captured.
"really one of the best fight in Batman 1966 indeed"
The fight in the second part of this episode was one of the best of the entire series' run. It's also one of the longest.
Batman, Robin, Mad Hatter and his men all get good shots in a long, desperate struggle at the Mad Hatter's hideout.
Not to mention the fight on the tower, in which remarkably, no one fell off.
When Batman got plastered, I cried like a little bit--.
When Robin wasn't plastered I cried a little bit
@@willg4802 they should have been plastered together since they were often placed in death traps together. 😄
@@earlmartin1030 exactly, they should have dragged Robin over, mixed up another batch of the plaster, then splat, covered him.
@@willg4802 The Joker did do that when he turned them both into surfboards. 😄
@@earlmartin1030 yeahhhhh that was hot. I wish someone would encase me ... In cement.
Robin, old chum, what have I done?
Wow the low quality involved there is amazing
they tied robin to a horse
A mí me amarraron a una cama de pies y manos y me amordazaron
3:25 yeah yeah! he's freeing himself out the plaster!
"batman!" "Robin!" (/;U;)/ cuties i cant!
When they tied Robin to the horse , that was fine they did it to keep him out of the way. I just don`t think they needed to put that muzzle gag over his mouth
@blenheim7 and the scene ends with The mad Hatter saying" Cappy hand me my camera' now Batman Or should i say "bruce Wayne now you are going to sit for a photography so the whole world can see who you really are" His henchman hands the camera to the mad hatter who says "The is the end of the caped crusaders" and the end of thier Crime fighting in gothom city boss" says the henchman as the mad hatter snaps the picture.Batman looks defeated as robin says"holy secret identity revealed"
LOL "Hold these."
Batman must of gotten under some SERIOUS training!!! Also,to me,it looks like Robin is riding the horse.
Hoje eu nao teria mais paciencia para ver esses seriados, nao!
That was the best part. Poor Muzzled Robin. To bad they didn't show the bad guys securing Robin to the horse. That would have been "HOT"
Mad 🎩 is in Batman cartoon
My favorite Batman villain.
King tut:: ❤️ Jean hale his assistant
really one of the best fight in Batman 1966 indeed
HOLY FROGMAN! *megaman theme plays*
This mad hatter is boring. I like the version when the mad hatter was an Alice in wonderland character instead of just a mind control villain.
To bad they didn't show Robin being tied to the plaster horse. That would have been "HOT" !!!!!!
They probs didn't show it so parents didn't make complaints of their daughters going wild...
Maybe director and crew did it to see their own personal episodes XDDD
I think robin likes gets beat up. Might turn him on.
Lol i look hilarious on that horse
#ripadamwest #ripdavidwayne
Holy batbreath!
2:39 was the start of the cliffhanger ending in the original... why is it missing?
Holy FROGMAN!
love it
Just once i would have loved to have seen the mad hatter nail batman with his hat mesmorizer
I feel the same way. I always wanted to see Batman take the Mad Hatters hat mesmorizer
I think he should have plastered Robin, and kept them both just like t hat
1:38 holy ricochet.
Who was the actor playing " The Mad Hatter?"
Nicky Depaola David Wayne
Nicky Depaola , David Wayne
Charles Nelson Riley
i read a comment below saying you have the whole series so i need to know, where did you buy it, i can't find it anywhere, hell i can't even find a single episode!
why in hell is Robin tied like that?
pony derpy The better question is, Why is Robin ever NOT tied like that? :-)
At :19, "Someone's moaning!" Isn't Robin the one who's usually moaning when he's alone w/Batman?
I know, he should have been plastered too
They tied him up to keep in out of the way while they did their dirty deed to Batman . I saw no reason for that muzzle gag over his mouth . Very rude
Which kinky villain thought of tying Robin to a horse statue ?. Why?.
The Mad Hatter was very appalling and scary in the Batman TV Series. I hated him very much especially his gaudy moustache.
Oh stop teasing me..HA!
Mad hatter wants all hats so he wants batman,s cowl or mask
Actually,he was after the Twelve Jurors and Batman, who put him in prison.....
I wanted to omit Dozier's captions and narration to make it look like it was all from the same episode. I've been remixing the cliffhangers in this fashion because some people would rather just watch the capture and escape in "one fell swoop".
❤❤❤❤❤
Batman and Robin are terrible superheroes in this series they’ve been taken advantage and getting themselves captured just like every other character on this show every Episode
I'm loving these clips. I grew up watching this. Silly though it is.
❤️ Jean hale
ITS ADAM WEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSST. someones moaning, oh yeah
Robin smells a rat!
Is this the same Plaster Caster who visited Jimi Hendrix backstage one night?
3:16
3:15 thats why batman became the dark knight
where can i watch the full episode for free
madesyn fandom The internet probably
madesyn fandom They're all on putlocker
robin got pwnd!!!!!
i held.my breath . wow.
Did they ever use 2face in this
Robin was scripted as a complete incompetent wuss in this series. Granted as young as the character was supposed to be he shouldn't have been Batman's equal but he shouldn't get underfoot and need help every 5 seconds
@jabuzcool hi or a villain kidnap Dick and ask for 1,2000000000000 dollar or you will never seen him again then what would batman doo with out his parner and his friend.
I thought the mad hatter from Alice in wonderland is a special guest.
One of the best fight in Batman 1966
"Great job!"
Oh, yeah, that's right - I'd forgotten about that.

I held my breath...WHAT?!?!
holy jewish banker batman
The Mad Hatter in the Batman The Animated Series was more evil and much smarter than the one in campy TV show.
does any one wish it was the alice in wonder land themed hatter if so would make it more awsome :) david wayne was awsome as jervis teitch
cawsofattitude Not me I like it the way it is.😒😊
holy frogman... yep, defiantely the original robin because he was the only robin to ever make such comments. there was another robin that laughed, was that tim?
i thought this would've been in reference to the kiss song.
nice one an im sure at end i heard yahoo messenger someone going off line:P i noticed lol.
