Oh man does this make me feel nostalgic! I left Vancouver to move overseas more than a decade ago, but I'll have to make a trip back soon and when I do, I'm going straight to the Naam on 4th Ave. Beautiful atmosphere and the food is dynamite!

Oh, it's been many years since I've gone to a restaurant buuuuuut some of my favs are still around. Chau Veggie Express is tops in my books and they have two locations - Granville Island (in the food court) and on Main Street (gorgeous interior which Chris would appreciate). The Burrow on Commercial Drive for stick-to-yer-ribs Mexican-inspired foods (all-day breakfast, Meg!). And if you like raw vegan, Eternal Abundance, also on Commercial Drive, is divine. Harambe's Ethiopian while not strictly vegan (it's an option) is still a treat ( and you guessed it - Commercial Drive). Yeah, all my favs are in East Van. Have fun eating your way around the city. I agree, MeeT is a great place with solid comfort food.

So glad to see that you have included a link to the Happy Cow website in your show notes as we use them anytime we prepare to travel given that they have recommendations for vegan eateries all over the world. Nice to see that many, if not all, of your suggestions are Ryerden approved as it is nice when youngsters can get to choose yummy, healthy and fun meals.
Thank you! Ryerden enjoyed all of the meals he tried. We tend to share, so he tried most of the dishes. It's a fun adventure for him when we go out to a restaurant and it's an added bonus if the whole menu is vegan! Happy Cow is a great resource for finding vegan options anywhere! 👍

Living in a rural area, I have limited options for eating out. But I have a great Thai restaurant and a burrito place that I love when I do eat out.
