      Green Gecko Lego Technic Workshop yes! I just got one for Christmas and I use it for my LEGO FRC robot. I have 10 motors, so I use 2 SBricks also. It works great and gives so much power!!

      Yes I use them a lot of times in my lego creations. I usually modify sets to fit in motors and lights. For the lights I sometimes use also sBricks for finer functionality.

    Its fantastic to see this reach a second public generation, especially with legos current actions/developments in the Bluetooth controller field (not saying that its all bad but after the topgear rally car set controller seem really slow/underpowered). Shame I don't have enough pieces or spare budget to get gritty but its still awesome to view the community from afar!

      I don't see myself using the new lego bluetooth (Powered Up) system, this setup with the buwizz is more powerful and offers more customization

    The buwizz is a really nice device, but I don't like the small battery. I build a simple one myself. I bought a 4s LIPO and a potentiometer to control and boost up my 42082. As a modder I would like to buy the PCB myself and add the battery I can fit in my moc

    • @GreenGeckoLegoTechnicWorkshop
      @GreenGeckoLegoTechnicWorkshop  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can run a 3s lipo straight to Lego Motors, Same voltage as the BuWizz on Max output. I've been using the BuWizz for almost 2 years and for its compact size i get really good run time, you can extend the battery by connecting a power bank to the brick, that's what i do.

    Oh thanks for opening the BuWizz... always wanted to know the H bridge driver. I selected the DRV8210 in my schematic and now i see that they used the DRV8833... nearly the same specifications.
    Does anyone know where I can get the board layout? especially I need the location of the power function headers.

  • @oliverssimanis8345
    @oliverssimanis8345 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    HEY. So I had this I idea for a while but I'm not intelligent enough to do it though. It's basicly using pullback motors as nitro. There's some clutch that makes the power functions engine go free and the pull back one activates (because pullback motors are faster) and when it ends the clutch makes it again controlled by a power functions engine

    • @MrAmorti
      @MrAmorti 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Maybe more like a hybrid car? You could have a motor spinning the whole time and some kind of clutch to send power either to the wheels or to the pullback motor.
      There are a few Lego one way clutch designs on TH-cam. Not sure it'd work out though. You would need some mechanism to wind it up, some to hold it and let it go, as well as a one way clutch.
      Idk, it'd get complicated real quick and I'm not sure it's worth it.

    Hmmm, I didn’t see any main board microcontroller on circuit... It may placed on another side of circuit board. So I really want to see it! (That big chip on up side is a WiFi only(CY8C4247LQI-BL453), others four are motor drivers(drv8833))
    Green Gecko could you show the other side of buwizz board?)))
