It looks like it’s the same as normal wheels, except split up into quarters. Treads have much more surface contact throughout the cycle.

All of these vehicles are cool but the third vehicle is definitely my favourite, the weird quarter wheels were so unique and I’ve never seen those kind of wheels before.
Also the fourth one surprised me because of how fast it was.

I know from experience stop motion is so hard, but worth it. It's fun to make, but time consuming.

Magic 😂 No but seriously, mecanum wheels are amazing. They can do tank drive, translate, rotate around a position outside their center of mass, and more 🤯

I think the last vehicle should have been driven the other direction.
Having the ball-wheel on the front, places the center of rotation opposite from the driving direction, making it awkward to steer.

how do you control the buzz wiz with the controller?
The BuWizz 3.0 can be controlled using the BuWizz app or the Brick Controller 2 app 👍 The BuWizz app on Android (maybe iPhone too, I don't know) can do either phone control mode or gamepad control mode. Brick Controller 2 is gamepad only I believe

What type of motors do you use to do this?
I use many types of LEGO® Powered Up motors. For this video video I used Medium Angular Motors and Medium Linear Motors from LEGO.com and CADA Micro Motors
