"It's off to the next life for you, my friend. I guarantee you, you won't be lonely." He really does have the coldest delivery. Maybe the coldest I've ever seen.
I was completely unaware that around this time Josh brolin wasn’t in the best of situations and really needed the pay day from this movie. He got it, got back to consistent jobs in show biz, and got out of depression. Good for him 👏. You never truly know what someone’s going through.
Josh Brolin doesn't get enough credit for his role as Trupo. If you've read about the SIU at that time, he basically WAS a composite of all of them. Gangsters with badges. When they got caught, only Leuci and Frank King snitched, and at least one went through the self checkout lane, meaning his family kept his survivor pension and were spared the embarrassment of a trial.
Good spot there. He doesn't really have any lines in this scene and his hair is slicked back with a leather jacket on so unless you're paying attention you wouldn't notice him in this scene.
@@royfisher4708 I'd say The Equalizer might trump them all in terms of intimidation. He said few words and had more stares than anything, but you just knew that guy could unleash physical hell on you in a few short seconds and end your life.............Everyone knew.............except the characters in the films.....Everyone watching the movie knew though lol
@@DemonKnight85yea especially the first one when the franchise was fresh and McCall just goes into the office and takes all the mob dudes up in the most brutal form and moves the skulls on the desk beforehand to symbolize their death.. that’s some cold ass shit .. definitely gotta agree with you

"I loved that car"
"I know"
😂😂
I can’t believe how Frank quickly responsed to Trupo’s verbal assault.
He loved that car, Jamal.
@@russellhamner4898 Where the Shelby at 😂
@@haiderjamal303Shelby’s gone
Well…. It’s a movie.
He memorised the script well then.

The boiling tension in this scene is epic! Just a complete masterclass in acting!

After this Thanos figured it would be easier to collect infinity stones than arrest Frank Lucas

Freakin' Huey. The weak link that fucked everything up.
Dude Denzel and Josh gotta do more moviea together
In the end Huey gets a reminder that Frank is a brutal monster who only cares about Frank.
He deserves he shouldn't have that stuff on the car
Huey was an idiot.
He didn’t join a community service organization lmao
Shaked down by Thanos, being spied on by Zeus, and paying for Mordo's f***-up. Frank Lucas is feeling the heat from the MCU on all sides.
underated
The Shelby’s gone? 😏😂
"How you doing Frank?"
"I'm good Thanos, how'd the snap go?"
"Not so good."
Great scene
Forearm to the face was cold
Thats family frank lol
Power windows in the 70s nice.
they have been around since the 40s
Well they started using them in the 40s
They came standard in the 70s

I always wondered if Huey was able to drive after that
is that nelsons little cab?
Does anyone know what brand the coat Trupo is wearing is? It might be Schott, but if anyone knows...
Y’all can say whatever y’all wanna say, but there will always be a golden goose!
I don't understand why Frank beat up his brother for
cuz he was an idiot
Pumpkin pie and warm apple cider? Ok Frank sounds delicious
Who won the drive now Frank damn it like that 2:08
Da black sopranos
Yes
I cant believe Thanos used to be two bit beat cop.
Which character played by Denzel was more intimidating? Alonzo or Frank?
In terms of power, it's obviously Frank. In terms of corruption, it's gotta be Alonzo. Both are perfectly portrayed by him
what about John Creasy (Man on Fire)

Frank was more intimidating. I wouldn't mess with either, though.

Samuel l Jackson should have played frank lucas but denzel was great too

yeah, overdramatized, but you can see they at least tried
No automatic windows in the 70's
Automatic windows started in the 1940s with Packard.
They had power windows and power sun roof in 1970 as options.
Yes power windows in the 70's.
See, we can do it too.
Difference is we're right.
