Okay, as a 90s baby; I did grow up with all the Bridget Joneses .. but I’ve never seen one. This one I want to see, and now I suppose I’ve got to start at the beginning, eh? Bridge Jones Binge here I come!
No no no!! I love Bridget Jones, the first movie is in my top 3 always, and I know this is based from the 3rd book (that I refuse to read).. But without Mark Darcy the magic is gone. I can even feel it trough the trailer.
@neilcarroll4579 It isn't made for TV, it's getting a full theatrical release in the UK. It's going straight to streaming in the US because I'm guessing the draw isn't as strong over there.
YESS ❤❤❤ Love the fact the written diary is back. Its so iconic and the 3rd installment digitalising it made me so sad. Its a stupid highlight, but its the little things that is special ❤
I love this series but was annoyed when i heard they were doing yet another one. But this trailer looks promising and i'm excited for one last adventure with Bridget :)
I was bummed at first becoz Mark Darcy won't be in this but they already have their happily ever after. Chances of dying at the same time with your spouse are very slim so this is Bridget trying to live coz the world still spins even after the love of your life died.
So after Big died in SATC also Darcy dies so the studios can milk another sequel? Man, people in Hollywood seem to have no creativity anymore than just endless squeezing the last toothpaste out of the tube and then recycling it. Brrr…
Big died because he is a sexual predator in real life. Darcy died because the author wrote it that way in the book. Hollywood didn’t write this you simpleton.
It doesn’t look as good as the others. Not the same without Mr Darcy. Cleaver was meant to be dead - clearly there’s been a twist where he’s had to fake his own death or something - which seems very much like a cleaver thing to do. This trailer just doesn’t have the same ring to it as the 3 other films.
Given the undeniable fact that in real life, it's usually the reverse, isn't it time that a woman flipped the scenario over. For years, decades, centuries, men have been with women who are from 20 to 50 years their junior. Many men who are in their 50-60's refuse to date a woman over 30. Leonardo di Caprio for a start. That's real life This - BJD - is a romantic comedy - a film, a book, fun, flirty, drama, comedy, 🎉
But it’s ok if it was an older man dating someone younger then? Anyway the story line is based on the last book. I guess the author knows Bridget jones better 🤷🏻♀️
So cool but I’ve already cried cause we will not have Mr.Darcy :(

Oh yes:)
You are in for a treat!!!!! ❤
Do it
You won't regret it.🙂
Same! I watched them all earlier this year and I wasn't disappointed, this feels like a nice reward that I didn't see coming.
Happy to see Leo Woodall here 😍 I really enjoyed his acting in “One Day”
He was great in White Lotus too.
He made me cry so much in One Day
🥺 I dunno if my heart can take this instalment. Life is so shit just now, this might just tip me right over the edge!

I’ll bet she falls for Chiwetel in the end, and let’s face it - who wouldn’t?! He’s gorgeous!!
See what you did there 😋
Ah, our Bridget is back!❤
Yes!! Finally. This was filmed near where my eldest lives ,so i knew it had to be not too far off.Looks promising :)
I'm such a sap. As soon as I saw the flashback of Darcy, I cried.
❤ Welcome back, Bridget! ❤
I can’t wait 🥳🥳🥳
Glad to see Gaius Baltar is still part of the Bridget Jones gang!
I can't wait for this ❤
Delicious. Finally, some good fucking cinema.
It's made for TV , not even for cinema

Why not! I watched all 3 of the last movies.
I didn't think they'd bring a fourth movie out, but I'm not mad!
Wowwww... cant wait.
YESS ❤❤❤ Love the fact the written diary is back. Its so iconic and the 3rd installment digitalising it made me so sad. Its a stupid highlight, but its the little things that is special ❤
I cannot wait!!!!
Omg I love this!!!
Can't wait!!!!!!
I love this series but was annoyed when i heard they were doing yet another one. But this trailer looks promising and i'm excited for one last adventure with Bridget :)
Annoyed? The author wrote another book.

2:08 - Really like this Risky Business reference!
Omg como el libro!
I'm dying rn 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳
Yay!!!
Vivendi is the reason that Universal and StudioCanal partnered to this movie... Yeah! Common ownership back then.
What's the point if there's no Mr Darcy😮
Because life goes on after someone dies……..???
Aah the White Lotus guy!
I hope it's better than the book. Looks like it will be.
You had me at Leo….
Hugh Grant sold it to me 😂
Bridget jones fam assemble
Mark Darcy Dies ☹️
Spoiler, much?

I don't know how to feel about this.
No.3 was fine. Better than the first two. Whatever No.4 is like, at least it'll be better than Paddington 3 and Red One.
Wait! Red one wasn't good? 😮
@@luluokafor7601 It sucks ass, but not quite as much as Paddington 3.
@@luluokafor7601 It sucks big time, but P3 does so even more.
the 4th movie is going to wreck me
Bridget can barely keep her eyes open now.
I’m confused, I thought Daniel died in the last one ?
No, at the very end of Bridget Jones 3, it showed a newspaper article saying that Daniel had survived the plane crash and was found on a desert island
If you’d watched the film you’d know he didn’t.
so, she's a widow? and they couldn't count on Hugh Grant for more than 3 days of shooting? it kinda sucks
Νοοοοοοοο! WHY????
Because the author wrote another best selling sequel?
Brilliant! Such a shame she wasted so much time before marrying Mark for him to then die.😢
Didn’t Daniel die in the last bridget jones movie(Bridget Jones’s Baby)??
Where is Jack? that’s it. That’s my only question.
First they kill Bond, now this
Why did they kill off Mr Darcy? That’s so annoying, why does she have to be on her own again.. the last movie had the perfect ending.
So after Big died in SATC also Darcy dies so the studios can milk another sequel? Man, people in Hollywood seem to have no creativity anymore than just endless squeezing the last toothpaste out of the tube and then recycling it. Brrr…
It’s based (to some extent) on the author Helen Fielding’s own experience of becoming a widow and raising her children alone, apparently.
Big died because he is a sexual predator in real life. Darcy died because the author wrote it that way in the book. Hollywood didn’t write this you simpleton.
Not Mark dead 😭😭😭😭
Nooooooo! Maaaarrrrkkkkk!!!!!! 😭😭😭😭😭😭
I know the author intended this, and I will watch it, but I’m still 😭😭😭😭😭
No Darcy, no party :(
How awful to have a Bridget movie without Mr. Darcy. Ugh!
Hmmmm this does not feel the same without Mr. Darcy
Where's Jack?
Wait I thought Daniel died in the last one???
I reckon there’s going to be some sort of story where he had to fake his own death or something
finally. quick question. didn't Daniel die?
In the 3rd film in the ending scene there was a newspaper article stating that Daniel was found alive
😭😭😭😭😭😭
I’m surprised she can see out of those eyelids

Don't tell me a grown ass woman is going to have an affair with a younger guy. These movies should have stopped at 2
They are books first.
Your choice to watch it or not. I think there are many that are looking forward to this, myself included.

@@pollyanna1112That's because women have a biological shelf life. Empty egg cartons have nothing to offer a younger man.
Meh. Sucking it dry now
I thought Daniel was dead lol. Not read the books
it was in the last movie’s ending note where it showed a newspaper articel stating something like Daniel Cleever found alive
God no
Yawn
Bridget would not date a younger guy it’s disgusting this trying to groom younger people in movies and make it seem right it’s so wrong
But it’s ok if it was an older man dating someone younger then? Anyway the story line is based on the last book. I guess the author knows Bridget jones better 🤷🏻♀️
Leonardo di Caprio is in his 60's and won't date a woman over 30. That's real life. B J D is a movie, fantasy
