Great tutorial, love how you go over every little detail of the song but quickly. Thanks for this tutorial i love mac demarco and have been wondering how to play these tracks and you've helped loads.
One of the best albums! Mac Demarco is actually from the same hometown I'm from so I have always been a huge fan of his stuff! Great stuff Danny, you are always bringing in the goods :)
Thanks Jason. Possibly. Unfortunately, Mac De Marco vids don't get the views that Prince and Zappa garner so it's difficult to warrant the huge effort that goes into figuring out, transcribing, practicing, tone matching, performing, scripting, editing...
@@dannyeddyguitar honesty id say up to you but mac has really put out a lot of incredible music, i wonder if you’ve listened to the stuff he made with makeout videotape back in the day - however if you wanna stick to acoustic then you’ve got Here Comes the Cowboy and that’s an awesome record as well.
Hahaha! You're right, Will - I guess I am making them up. But I use lots of clues and cues. First of all, I have a pretty good ear, so that's where I start. But I'll always check around to see if the artist has any live clips up, where I can look at their hands and listen to a different mix. But where I have to make a decision on what I think someone is playing, I look for 'logic' in their shapes/patterns/changes/riffs. If something seems just too random or difficult, it probably is.
@@dannyeddyguitar I still want to be you one day. I’m starting to do the same that Is watch how they perform and try to figure out what they play. I figure it out but Idk how to go about naming the chord. Your chord diagrams help so much.

I've absolutely loved your Mac DeMarco album run through for this old dog man!!!
Any chance of you doing another album? Like salad days maybe? 🙏🏻🤙🏻

Incredible video! Thank you for your entertaining and easy to follow along content 👍
Cheers Isaac. Appreciate your support!
Great video, only tab i could find that actually sounds like the original
Internet Tabs are notoriously crap. You can spend more time looking for correct tabs than you would spend working it out by ear!
Just started playing the guitar. this is my goal for now. absolutely love this album. very nice tutorial :)
Looking forward to your progress posts!
great tutorial!

Will check it out, for sure
How do you learn all these chords? It’s almost as if you’re making them up 🤯
