I have a stockish' one with over 6k miles on it so far. I have the storage bag under the seat and it works great to carry my camera gear and even a small drone if you want. If you live in an area where you can get away with driving 35-45MPH for the most part, these are great get around bikes and super reliable.
I love my 22 Ruckus it has 11k on it already had to change the drive belt out a new battery around 9k miles still has stock front tire new rear. I discovered with regular maintenance they are not fully broken in until you hit 10k. Cool thing it comes with extra fuses hidden on top of the battery if your battery dies the kick stand is a life savor. And they run great in the rain. After I changed out the belt for a new one it was truly broken in and now it’s faster.
I'm happy to have watch this video.. Just got my Ruckus some few days back but I can't find the halogen headlight bulb to change on mine. Any link to find the halogen bulb for Ruckus? Thanks
@@Zero-wl7oe It’s petrol w/great mileage! About 114 miles per gallon & holds roughly 1.3 gallons (183.5 kilometers, holding just under 5 liters) I hope to commute to work when the weather gets nicer. I haven’t ridden in the rain as I’m not skilled & I also don’t like being out in the rain here, it’s too cold. Plus, there’s tons of gravel/rocks that was put down during our recent ice storm. We’re so ready for spring/summer! 😅☀️
@RuckusRambles Sounds great. I think I'd trust Honda before the rest of them. I was wondering about the rain because im working out the back of nowhere, so it would have to be able to tackle the rainy weather. I honestly think it would. I had an evo motion Evo king 2000 watt which when I covered up right in the rain survived fairly heavy storms. But its just not reliable. I want something that's reliable. Honestly for me I don't think I'd go near an electric scooter again because of faults that happen n stuff. I'm thinkin seriously on getting this. I just need something reliable. Sounds great from what your saving anyway.
Saw my first ruckus on the road today. Thx for the vid. My only concern with the ruckus is around here the speed limit jumps to 35 - 45mph as soon as you get out of city limits and spots it’s 50.
Where did you purchase your Honda ruckus moped at cause I’m trying to get one and I can’t find a dealership. That’s carrying this ruckus. Also I’m not quite sure if I need a license I live in Bloomington Indiana and it’s kind of wishy-washy when people say I need a license or no license. I just wanna know the truth if you need a license for this 49 cc moped
I got 186 miles on mine in 2 weeks exactly, got it with 0..got my chase harper under seat bag coming tomorrow, and i got the kemmimotto mirrors coming, going put blind spot mirrors on left right side, definitely getting the gtmotto leds next week, plan on doing some motto camping in spring!! I will wait until around 700 miles to do the cdi swap and performance pollini variator. Thats as far as ill mod it except maybe lighter clutch and transmission kit, actually meant the heavier clutch lighter fly wheel
Absolutely will, I did my homework, I honestly think the kemmimotto mirrors are almost exactly what are on the adv 160 maybe just under a different brand name
How tall is it to the top of the handle bars from the ground? Just bought two of them & have to pick them up in a Ford Explorer. (taking a 60" wide 500 lbs hitch mounted rack in case they both don't fit inside.) Thanks.
Nice bike. Is the insurance cheap for this in a year. I always wanted one but you got to get your licence on a registered bike from someone who as one before you can get your own to register insurance tells me. Do my road test to get my licence, if pass it then can buy my own. If I didn't have to do that I would have one. No friends with bike like that to get my licence. How did you go about it. Perhaps you had your motorcycle licence before you got yours.
I like the look of them but at 6'4 it's just a tad too small. I saw one with a broken muffler and had a laugh at the dime sized exhust diameter. Somebody in the scooter group I mod swapped a 400cc Burgman engine in one.

Yeah I need to figure out what I’m gonna do with my camera equipment. And yes I live in an area where 3545 miles an hour is perfect for this thing.
My stock 2007 just turned 34,000 miles. Still runs like the first day I bought it back in 2008 with 175 miles.
Very nice
Post a video then
Just turned 35,000 miles.

Very well detailed review.
Hands down best Ruckus video!

I’m looking for them as well. I will post a video when I find them. Thanks for watching
@@slowridersmotovlog201 saw one just now... Bevinse Osram BA20D. Check it out.
I got mine at the beginning of September this year, still learning & I love it
I'm thinking on getting one. Is it petrol or diesel? What's it like in rainy weather?

Speed is definitely a concern. In area my speed limits are much slower so it makes it perfect 49cc Scooter riding!!
I plan on commuting to work next spring/summer, the highest speed limit in spots on one of my routes is 35mph.

Insurance is super cheap like 8 bucks a month.
No motorcycle license needed in most states
Cool scoot , now you got me wanting one . I wonder if you can get a license riding a Rukus.
In Maryland you don’t need a motorcycle license for 49cc and under. Just a driver license or permit
@@slowridersmotovlog201I’m in Oregon & it’s the same, just a drivers license needed.
Nevada is the same, you don’t need a M class DL
U mean can you take the test on a ruckus, good question ❓
Honda needs a 150 cc Ruckus
That would be sweet!!
The Big Ruckus was a 250. Thing was ugly as fuck, though.
Super nice 50cc❤
Definitely

Slowrider, bud please do a short with the talking heads.."take me to the river, while your at a river, thatd be perfect, if you can before winter!!
I will definitely see if TH-cam shorts music will let me use that song!!
I think they are overpriced so like a Vespa, I could only get one 2nd hand.
Glad you got one!! Hope you enjoy it
