I’ve got a 2020 Ruckus, 22 Trail 125 and a 22 Janus Halcyon 250. Had a Navi before the Trail. Something about how cool the Ruckus looks makes me want to keep it even though the others are so much more capable. Keep the videos and new bike experiences coming. New subscriber here
Nice video. I can tell you enjoy your Ruckus as much as I do. Mine is a 2020 Black with Red Ruckus letters, it has been lots of fun. I use it for both personal use and commute to work on sunny ☀️ days here in Florida. Has 7k miles already no complaints, just new battery 🪫 about 2 years ago, but I use now a tickler chargers. I get about 100 miles per tank which is outstanding, specially for a big guy like me 6’2” and 235 lbs. I got the Chase Harper front bag and luggage bag under the seat. Enjoy your bike. I too like to keep mine as stock as possible and not looking to change any of the mechanical stuff. May be only the shocks. When the battery died, I used the kick starter and started right away. Safe riding. Top speed for me about 36 to 38 mph, going up in an incline, it’s very slow, lol 😂
I just bought my 2nd Ruckus. First one, I messed up and swapped in bigger 180cc engine which made it unreliable, and had to sell during my divorce. 15 years later, just bought my 2nd one and keeping it a 50cc. This thing is so fun I routinely take it off road as well. So much fun. Loved the video.
I go the under seat bag. I have put a Gallon of milk, veggies and fruit and canned food in it and it handled it just great. I just go to the super market on it, and park right in front. Nobody objects to sidewalk parking these.
I bought one, 2024 in green/tan, and its a fun ride. I've had to change the rear spring since I am a bit heavier, but it'll run between 35 and 38 no problem. If I get a good draft, i can hit 40. I let my friend ride it down a residential road, and the first thing he said when we swapped back was how much fun they are. I couldn't agree more. So glad I pulled the trigger on this. Thinking my KLR will get a fewer miles than last year.
@@rogerhernandez9137 my last weigh-in I was around 275. With a decent wind, I can hit the rev limiter at 42. I do struggle up hills sometimes, but doesn't dip below 25. I thought about doing the stage 1 kit, but i decided I'm going to keep it as stock as possible, or very minimal mods. If you are 6ft or higher, might want to get some front pegs so you don't hit your knees when turning. But, you know, tall people problems.
I’ve heard so many people complain that they bought an aftermarket engine to make the ruckus go faster and then the aftermarket engine runs horribly. THEN they say the honda ruckus sucks . keep the stock engine
Think I should have gotten that instead of the adv 150.i hate the key,the seat and it feels top heavy. I did get a monkey in January ,waiting for better weather. I am 70,trying to get back to bikes.5ft8 ,155lbs,34 inch inseam
Around 11min you mentioned you are surprised more people aren't buying these... I wonder the same as well. When banks stop giving out 5-10yr auto loans and folks have to pay cash for transportation, they'll realize this is one of the few options in the average American budget lol. At 16:15, you mention getting up to 44-45MPH after break-in... there's a rev limiter. Mine maxes out around 42MPH is favorable conditions.
Debating hardly on a ruckus or a Navi currently. I’m approved for both with low interest and pretty close to the same payment. I dig the ruckus looks but the Navi price has me leaning that way.
youve owned it for 6 months, but only have 180 miles? thats only a couple days of riding lol. you say 'easy to work on' but clearly havent had to work on anything lol
They're good little machines. There's a guy, I believe from West Virginia, who rode his all the way to Alaska.
I’m going to buy mine tomorrow. I can’t wait! This will be my first bike.
Congratulations welcome to the ruckus family
The sixty eight. Led bulbs are a must…especially if you ride at night.

Great video. Just wondering where did you get your front foot pegs?
alumilitearmor.com
cool bike dad, any plans for GY6 upgrade? Or maybe dual sport/offroad upgrade?
Not just stock
Do you have a link to the lower set and foot peg kit? Love my 2024 Honda Ruckus!

Is legal on regular roads? Do I need a motorcycle license for this. And is this considered a motorcycle or a scooter?
It is very legal on the road. In the state of Maryland just a driver license. You’ll have to get the law in your area. No highway
Like to know about the navi
Stay toned!! Maybe getting another very soon
Can you haggle on the price at the dealer like a car, or is the price pretty set?
There is some wiggle room in there!!
Good to know, thanks!@@slowridersmotovlog201

Do you have to put plates on em ?
Not in Maryland
how tall are yall, im 6'1 worried i wont fit on this
5”11
Can this be driven on highways?
yea. way faster than bicycles on road. stay right when able
Not recommended on roads with speeds posted over 45mph but I've done it.

180 miles I have other bikes 😂 Lol This is my second Ruckus and Clearly worked on them before LOL
Not really Hunter. Let's say he rode the ruckus for 10 miles each time he rode it... that's still 18 trips he made on the ruckus.
Trying to convince the wife to say yes
Hope she comes around you’ll have a blast
