At Home with Little Dragon

- When we met Little Dragon this summer, the band had just returned from some well deserved time away from making what would become their new album. In the old days, there wasn't much time for time off. Today, only Yukimi lives in the studio they've lovingly transformed into their home away from home on the second floor of a quiet building near the center of town. "The guys" as Yukimi refers to the three-piece fraternity eternally at her side, have all since moved out, or in with their families. The band's success has afforded them just a little space to themselves.
The space they still share is like a clubhouse. One they built when they first met back in high-school, and spent years adding little touches to. It feels like more like a museum than a work space with Håkan's home-made walls, funky instruments, and half-done DIY projects daring to be completed all around. It's here that we ate traditional Swedish breakfast and watched the band at work on their untitled first single, what is now "Klapp Klapp."

Every time I hear that bass intro to "Klapp Klapp" I get chills. It takes me back to when I heard Little Dragon for the first time. It was just one of those revelatory moments that I'll remember for the rest of my life. God I love this band ❤
This is genuinely living the dream right here.
Facts
she gives me butterflies..

@outkast334 that song is called "Klapp Klapp", in case you're still wondering.
I'm in love with this band.
Isnt everyone 🖤
I love this band so much. Yukimi's voice is just beautiful man!
I get chills when I hear her voice. The band has a great sound. Kind of 80s mixed with 50s Jazz Trio. It’s like a cocktail of modern and classic with a pop of lemon.
Seriously creative. I love what she said about challenging "what's you". That's deep.
Dynamite electronic intro. Must be exhilarating when those sounds fall into place hearing it piece together the first time.
That bass line is FANTASTIC. I absolutely love it!
i love the song "Klapp Klapp", played it like a thousand times
I would love an unplugged album from them
Feel kinda ridiculous having a crush on Yukimi at my age but I can watch her and the guys jam all day. Just an amazing ensemble. And the way she dances on stage...thought I was the only freak who did all that. :b
One of my favorite bands. ❤️ Yukimi’s voice is so smooth and a joy to listen to!
"Challenging what's you" she's definitely a lover of music! She's a little BADASS! I love her😍

if your ever in london , message me
whos her boyfriend i get the vibe she has more then one?
Is she American? She sounds very American!
I always get fooled (I live in Germany, grew up in Hong Kong) by people from Sweden cause they sound like from the US. The HBO-Series " GenerationKill" is a good example for it. I thought that the main actor is actually someone from NY or something like it...
Her accent is a mix between American and European to me. A lot of ESL speakers sound vaguely American I’ve noticed, I wonder if it’s because they learnt the language in an American accent I dunno.
she sounds like she's from the bay in the u.s. (california bay area)
