Very good video. As Istj art student most of my best works are the ones I made through hard slow work. Which may not be as liked in fast paced today art world, but many people still like it and are willing to wait just to see the work done. So for any Istj in creative fields, keep on, they will be people that apreciate your work. (Excuse my grammar English is not my first language).
I’m istj and this sums me up well. I read that the istj is the most common of all the personality types but I have a hard time believing that not because I think istj is special, superior or unique. I just don’t find most people as serious as I am about responsibilities and commitments.

I'm ENFP and my husband is ISTJ. Opposite primary and quaternary functions means we trigger each other a lot, but it's a beautiful yin/yang most of the time.
You couldn't have summed us up better tbh. This is exactly how I am, and we are always getting wrong judged to be problematic. When really all we ever want is the best outcome. Nothing more nothing less.
After listening to both your ISFJ and ISTJ videos, I think I lean more towards ISTJ. It's sometimes hard to see though as I don't like conflict, I like harmony between others, I like being accepted. If you have a way to determine if I'm definitely an ISTJ and not ISFJ I would appreciate it. I would always test as ISFJ when younger, but now in middle age test ISTJ, but I think I may have always tested ISFJ when younger as that's what I'd like to be and care more about people, but when in fact I care more about my internal structure and flow being harmonious.
Either way, the J means your judging function is extroverted. So you are either Si-Fe or Si-Te. Fe is concerned with social cohesion and wanting to be liked. You would make sense out of the value of your social value based on the relationships you have to share your Si rituals/values with. Te is concerned with solving problems and streamlining processes and systems in accordance to the comforts/rituals that align with your Si worldview.
Nicely done! While the aspects and characteristics of the ISTJ personality type are well known and documented, your analysis of the ISTJ brings color to the all-too-often bland descriptions of this type.

It's tough for you ISTJs. The tests and general consensus makes it seem that y'all don't have emotions and are only out to optimize without thought for humanity. That's not the case at all. All the structure is for the purpose of supporting further societal developments. These are the people that wait in lines so everyone gets a turn. We could argue that these types are the kindest of all, so willingly devoting their lives to mass freedom. My ISTJ husband forgets all the time that to truly be effective, his well-being needs to be factored into the equation. I think learning to delegate and hold his desires as valid is his biggest struggle. My hubby takes his role as a provider really seriously so I and our children can flourish how we want to. I'm an ENFP and encourage all the authenticity and exploring. 🥰 We're better together than apart, even though together is really triggering sometimes. 🤪 All to say... I think ISTJs are largely misunderstood, and I think that sucks because they're phenomenal.

As an ISTJ art student I definitely agree. I work really slowly and that often makes me feel bad, but in the end my art is detailed and good looking

So in a state of fight or flight the ISTJ acts like a ENFP? I'm a INTJ and I know all about my ESFP side and learned how to use it effectively
