You have no idea how much I fangirled over Team Skull and Team Star finally interacting. It was nice to see Giacomo learning from his past mistakes and trying to help other delinquents find healthier ways to express themselves.
I genuinely forgot how similar Team Star and Team Skull are. Seeing Sophocles and Giacomo being friends so well and how they threw in some references like Penny's bond with Hugh and Sophocles, and Rose and Maxie's interest on Sync Stones are still something I'm amazed when it comes to Masters' writing.
Really love the dynamics they have here. Also wonder about Team Yell also since they are kinda like outcasts in Galar somewhat, as they have no power spot.
Though I’m surprised that we still haven’t gotten any interactions between Penny and Rose, yet. Does she even know that the chairman is her uncle? Her dad Peony seems to be cut off from that side of the family, so I’m not sure.
Since clavell has a quaquaval as a sync pair partner i guess that means that florian will have skeledirge while julianna most likely has a meowscarada as a sync pair pokemon
Giovanni knows plenty of business imagine if he went to the Academy to teach business, also good and evil are simply different perspectives (Given he has plenty of deep dialogue in the center)

Giacomo is so sweet, I love his character so much. I’m so happy to have something about him after almost 1 year!!!

Not sure I would call it "a brand new approach to storytelling and canon", but at the very least I like what its building up to.
