Y'know Chef Ramsey is really well known for his scalding remarks and shouting but I think this video really shows that if you're not being an absolute idiot and making basic mistakes, and you actually put your effort into a well conceived dish, he is very supportive and soft spoken. Even in cases where the dish wasnt perfect, like Ts dumplings not being cooked all the way, he didnt shout or scream- he just remarked on it as constructive criticism. I really do think the only reason he gets so heated is because he has no patience for adults who do culinary stuff professionally, and then make basic mistakes they have no excuse for making. He really does love the art of cooking and merely expects passion and effort

There's never been another contestant that I've loved as much as Elsie. She was so energetic, so cheerful, always willing to try something new and eager to learn. I really believe that if she had overcome that last service where she was being left hanging that she would have won the whole thing. Her inexperience was her only flaw.

I started watching the earlier seasons after watching some of the later ones, and so was expecting her to be eliminated quite early, since people with very little experience tend to not make it to the back jackets in the seasons I'd watched before. I was pleasantly surprised at how far she got. I hope she's proud of how she did, even though she didn't win.

Definitely had the best personality on the show. I do wish he was able to win, but knowing that he’s working as a chef at a hospital that treated his adoptive mom for a heart transplant makes me incredibly happy

EXACTLY it's why when you make chicken fried steak with white gravy you should always have the gravy as a side, that way the person enjoying the meal can either dip it in or pour the gravy over it as they're eating. This ensures the chicken fried steak will remain crispy and still have that crunch, otherwise it becomes sogy.
