FAMILY FIRST ... Mallacoota Xmas 2022

- It's something we don't do enough, that is put our family and loved one first. Whether it be work, personal commitments, disputes in the family or in my case a couple thousand kilometres and a TH-cam channel.
But this Christmas was going to be different, my kids Mackenzie, Hunter and AJ ( Kenz's boyfriend ) have made the effort to come down over Christmas and spend it with myself and the family.
We all need to ensure that we take the time out of our busy - hectic lifestyles that we seem to be living these days and spent quality time with our family, loved ones and friends, as life can be short and sometimes you don't get the opportunity to tell someone how you feel about them until its to late.
I was lucky enough that on this trip to Mallacoota we had a Hall Family Reunion "Hall Together" which gave me a chance to meet relatives I haven't seen in 30 plus years if not even at all, as the Hall family is a large group. It was a shame that many relatives didn't make it, but to the ones that traveled from USA, Qld etc it was a great few days leading up to the reunion and I was grateful for the chance to catch up with everyone that came a long.
I hope you enjoy the episode, I know this isn't a normal episode for the channel, but this xmas holidays was about family and quality time that needs to be had.

Hi what great photos and memories you made on that day it looks like everyone was having fun. I used to love family gathering like yours, each Sunday we would visit our oma and opa (grandparents), all the aunties, uncles and cousins would gather .Once the grandparents past away and then, aunts , uncles. Cousins have partners and families that is when things change. The family unit isn't like it used to be. Which is very sad. Cheers

Sorry didn't finish might not be there the next time you have a reioun with all your family with covid I couldn't get to see my mother before she passed away that was due to travel restrictions so hold onto those memories
Yeah Les that’s it. We don’t get the opportunity to see our love ones enough, and expressing our feelings. Normally funerals are when the Hall family catch up. That would of been a 1/4 of us, most didn’t make the effort. But I’m thinking that regretted it now.

@@mountainconstructions yep… lost my old man nearly 40 years ago now, mum had a massive bleed on the brain 2 years ago. That’s what made this Xmas more special, having my kids come down from QLD.
That was my whole point of the episode … we all need to take a backward step from our busy life’s. 👍🏼

I never meet mine 😂 And lost Mum after a second long battle with cancer 20 years ago.
Hence why I see what's important now.
And many others have similar stories.
That's why you come across well in your videos... 👍

It’s an awesome location in an amazing place, we are grateful for it staying in the family.
