My Entry To The Great Guitar Build Off 2021 ~ 6 String Bass Scratch Build ~ Sound demo at the end.
I consider this my first real attepmt at building a bass. I made 2 practice / test builds last year to get some experience on my belt. Made a few big mistakes, but they mostly turned out :) Before last year, I had never used a bandsaw or hand plane, or any hand tools. So it's been a big learning curve. I couldn't be much happier with how things turned out. So much fun, I can't wait for the next build!

-6 String Multi Scale. B-string 37" C-string 33.25" Parallel 7th fret
-9 Piece Neck thru from Purple heart and Alder
-Maple/epoxy top (originally planned to be a coffee table :D)
-Purple heart back
-Bartolini Soap Bar Pickups with an EMG Premap
-Black walnut fretboard
-The music used, is from an old project I worked.
