My brother had a Nakamichi Dragon for several years and wound up giving it to me. Cosmetically it was in perfect shape but as it had not been played in appx. 13 years, everything that could have gone wrong due to the inactivity, did. Rebuilds cost at least $3,000 and usually more so I gave it to a local charity who assured me it would be working flawlessly after they were finished rebuilding it. I now wish I had kept it because I am learning how to repair old vintage hardware (Dual 1264 record changer, Harman-Kardon home theater receiverAVR-1650 and an Akai CS-F110 cassette deck. ) BTW, how's Flo?
Man! That was a tough situation! I’ve donated lots of equipment and later regretted it (as well)! You know, nobody has ever asked me about flo! You are hilarious! You must have read the comic strips!!! You’re awesome!
