For over 200.00 for a single shelf you would think they would design to hold more weight... Love the design but seems like a Form over function item. Thanks for your honest review.
Exactly. For that price tag I would expect it to hold at least 25kg. But as you said, they're more decorative than functional shelves. You're welcome 🙏
when ppl use a computer program to design a 8sq. ft wall i dont think much of us can relate. if i cant relate i pretty much shut it down and move on. 🤷♂️
It’s not about the design of the shelf, it’s just that that’s the maximum amount the drywall anchors can handle

This turned out super nice! I am way too nervous to paint and do all that drilling myself but I am moving into a new place and will have an office space so I am taking notes. I want to paint it myself but I've never done it and I worry about messing up and wasting money and time and paint.

I found your channel yesterday and immediately got obsessed with your aesthetics and approach to design. I was blown away by your old setup!!
Now, I see this new setup, and it blows the old setup out of the water. I am SO inspired that I am now hastily checking out Balolo's website and my desk organizing hardware just arrived in the mail today.
I design for a living (high-converting websites for sales funnels, so lots of UX / UI) and know how a well designed space can affect your behavior. I am now going to apply what I do for a living to my space, and I want to say thank you, Mattia, for such inspiration to do so.

Your the first person i seen to not cover an entire wall with those, but use only minimal panels and space them out. But the idea of mounting them with that bracket is genius for all the reasons you stated. It gives me more ideas than other channels showing it off did.

I actually ordered them online a month ago... after 2 weeks the company reached out saying they couldn't be shipped to my address 🥲 unfortunately I live on an Island where a lot of brands don't ship their products and this forces me to work with what I have 🙃

pro tip... a jigsaw cuts a clean cut at the bottom.. so reverse the panel und drive on the back..voila.. clean cut on the front.

This is an absolutely fantastic setup, It was my dream to build a desk like this and I did it, believe me, its the best desk, I just didn't get the top from Ikea as it was tough to import in my country, so I got one from a local carpenter and looks really good. I am working on other things as I don't have much budget and also these things can only be imported.
Hi brother! Thank you so much 💪 I understand the pain, I also struggle getting many products and I have to pay extra fees when they arrive. Ikea over the past 2 years increased their prices, I got the desk for 160€ at the end of 2021. Now it reached 270€ 😅 I still think it holds its value, but I would also consider other alternatives at this point.
@@matdilisio same brother even we don't have Ikea at all my aunt bought from Qatar and bring that with me and I got it fro QAR1950 just for frame which in conversion becomes like €485, so i had to get thing almost in double proces and it really pains man, but hopefully will complete one day.
