When I was 9 years old I learned that you should always tell people to get out of my personal space and if they don’t care and break in your bubble you could always tell a trusted adult and you did the right thing by telling your mom and dad. And if it happens again and a person is getting in your personal space you should do the same exact thing what you did. Tell a trusted adult if they touch you an in inappropriate spot!

I had to deal with something similar fairly recently. Granted, I’m at least a fully grown woman. But when I was waiting at the bus stop one day some random man just hugged me and kissed me without permission then asked me out. Oh my god, that's honestly disgusting. I have a similar story but it's not from an old man. This happened in 6th grade and I got to school a bit earlier so I decided to go near my class. But we weren't allowed to enter that certain area before school started, so I sat on a ledge right in front of the gym. I'm just chilling, waiting for the bell to ring when I hear this dude in the background struggling with his locker (Yes, my school had lockers on the walls outside of the gym). He was grunting and saying, "UGH WHY WON'T IT WORK?!" kinda loudly. I chose to ignore it because it's none of my business so I continue sitting there until this motherfucker decides to slam his locker shut and come up to me. Now, I have no idea who this kid was, but I was familiar that he was a special ed kid who usually had an adult with him. No hate to special ed kids, y'all are great, I just wanted to mention that because I think that's why he had an adult accompanying him. He also was a bit deformed and had a mustache (IN THE 6TH GRADE). Anyway, (context), I wore shorts that day. Okay, back to the story. He comes up to me and sits SO CLOSE TO ME. There's not even a centimeter of space between us, he's basically touching me. I start feeling hella uncomfortable but I don't want to be rude so I stay there and pretend to ignore him. He decides to start fucking interviewing me. "Hey, why are you sitting here alone," is one thing he asked. I explained I'm waiting for class to start. We sit for like 2 seconds of silence and he starts TOUCHING MY BARE LEGS WITH THE BACK OF HIS HAND-. I was fucking disgusted. But again, I couldn't force myself to cuss at him or get angry. So AFTER he started doing that he said, "Are you okay if I do this?" I just quickly shake my head and say, "No, please stop" and I walk away from that motherfucker to go greet my friends coming out of 0 period. Anyway, when my mom found out, she was livid. "OH MY GOD, WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL A TEACHER?!" was one of the things she said. I don't blame her, it's a very scary situation. Luckily, that's my only experience with creepy dudes. I remember, a few weeks ago, my mom went to the store by herself and there was an older man staring at her in a very creepy way, whatever aisle she went to, he was in. When she was checking out in the self checkout, he was too. She was paranoid and looked all around the parking lot before leaving. Doesn’t matter who you are, how old you are. There will ALWAYS. Be creeps.
Doesn’t matter what you are wearing either. She was wearing exercise pants and a coat and vest.
Moral of the story: you should stay with your family and never walk alone by yourself or something will happens like this

This happened in 6th grade and I got to school a bit earlier so I decided to go near my class. But we weren't allowed to enter that certain area before school started, so I sat on a ledge right in front of the gym. I'm just chilling, waiting for the bell to ring when I hear this dude in the background struggling with his locker (Yes, my school had lockers on the walls outside of the gym). He was grunting and saying, "UGH WHY WON'T IT WORK?!" kinda loudly. I chose to ignore it because it's none of my business so I continue sitting there until this motherfucker decides to slam his locker shut and come up to me. Now, I have no idea who this kid was, but I was familiar that he was a special ed kid who usually had an adult with him. No hate to special ed kids, y'all are great, I just wanted to mention that because I think that's why he had an adult accompanying him. He also was a bit deformed and had a mustache (IN THE 6TH GRADE). Anyway, (context), I wore shorts that day. Okay, back to the story. He comes up to me and sits SO CLOSE TO ME. There's not even a centimeter of space between us, he's basically touching me. I start feeling hella uncomfortable but I don't want to be rude so I stay there and pretend to ignore him. He decides to start fucking interviewing me. "Hey, why are you sitting here alone," is one thing he asked. I explained I'm waiting for class to start. We sit for like 2 seconds of silence and he starts TOUCHING MY BARE LEGS WITH THE BACK OF HIS HAND-. I was fucking disgusted. But again, I couldn't force myself to cuss at him or get angry. So AFTER he started doing that he said, "Are you okay if I do this?" I just quickly shake my head and say, "No, please stop" and I walk away from that motherfucker to go greet my friends coming out of 0 period. Anyway, when my mom found out, she was livid. "OH MY GOD, WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL A TEACHER?!" was one of the things she said. I don't blame her, it's a very scary situation. Luckily, that's my only experience with creepy dudes. And now I can never wear shorts to school :). Thanks, random dude c:

This happened to my sister once and being the overprotective brother I am I asked who it was and straight up snuff. The guy and I told him to never touch or even come near my sister ever again. He ended up being terrified of me but I didn’t care because I would do anything to keep my sister safe

I remember when I was younger, me and my brother were waiting for my mom to finish paying for the shopping and this old guy was trying to call me and my brother over. But because when I was younger, I was really cautious and didn’t trust random people. I went and told my mom and dad and they were both furious and my dad ran off to have a go at the guy and tell him to stay away and he never tried it again
