What a great time to be figure collecting Dinosaur lover. So many options - so little cash lol.
I'd love the look of this Giga. I hope they do the Carnotaurus and the Pitch Black Tyrannosaurus from the the Dino Crisis sequel Dino Stalker even the Troodon Name Trinity would be Awsome

Also, the jaw melds with the body so well I couldn't even tell it was articulated!

Dino Crisis Giganotosaurus is the best Giganotosaurus I've ever seen. I really like its design, colors, and a crown of spikes on its head too
The eye injury is a reference to the Dino Crisis 2 when Regina blasted the Missile Silo level and the Giganotosaurus returns to the final level but with obvious burns

4:00, this Giganotosaurus looks like the one from Dino Crisis! Saw a video game play from Klayton Fioriti earlier.
Man this figure looks Amazing! As a fan of Dino Crisis 1 and 2, and the Giganotosaurus, this was super cool to see. In regards to the eye injury. That eye was actually burned by Regina during the first boss fight with the Giga. When it returns near the end of the game you can see his face is burned up with white eyes giving it a pretty creepy look.
Still waiting for mine to ship. I love the more "theatrical" color schemes and details on these dinosaurs, gives them so much character!

Would not say no to this toy
Just bought this awesome figure for myself and can't wait for it to get here. When I first saw it on amazon, I instantly recognized its likeness to the Dino Crisis 2 Giga and was happy to find that it indeed was the inspiration for this figure. Also interesting to note that it seems the eye damage is fairly accurate, since after the first encounter the Giga sustained burns and eye damage after the missile explosion. You can see this in-game - in the first encounter with the giga its eyes are bright yellow-green, but in the final battle its eyes are white and skin around its face looks damaged and discolored.
This one definitely tops papo in every way
With this eye, this is a nod to the final battle of Dino Crisis 2, where the Giga has destroyed , milky eye, after the explosion in Missile Silo.

I like how they were able to make a badass video game monster, but still have an accurate skeletal. I also like how its actually in the 1/35 scale unlike most w dragon figures.
But its like 70 bucks. Also im not a resin guy. PVC works best for me(or whatever they put in those awesome mojo figures i won)
This would've made a great design for the JWD Giganotosaurus.
I think it’s closer to the Concept art for the dinosaurs, which were used a lot in the prima guide
If dino crisis 1 and 2 do get remastered I surely hope the giga looks like this or at least something similar
I can confirm the Giganotosaurus in Dino Crisis 2 did not have a eye injury.
Remembers me for Godzilla in Giant Monsters ( the Eyes ) all Out Attack and Dino Crisis 2. What an impressive Monster, hard to say witch is better, W Dragon or Nanmu.
After researching of many T-rex in "scale" to make this Giga as massive as in the game. The only one i found is the Rexy that comes in the limited blu ray edition of Jurassic World (with the indominus rex figure)

This is way beyond my budget but, man, it looks like it's worth every single euro!
I think the size between the male and female rex is about accurate because Rexy is the largest of all the jp rexs. She is 44ft long and 17ft tall while the lost world rexs were both 14ft tall and 40ft I believe and the jp3 rex was 14ft tall and 37ft and then the spino is 16ft tall at the head and 43ft long.
You need the regina figure to go with this giganotosaurus figure. I already own regina but don't have the giga yet great video though.

I love the sculpt, material and colours, not so much the articulated jaw and the rather inaccurate sitting over the base.

T-rex from dino crisis had this exact injury so the figure is kind of a mix between two.

@@luizdesantis there are two W-Dragon T-rexes. One is scale 1:35, which I own, and one is bigger. Don't remember the scale but these are huge.

One question: is it bigger than the papo running t-rex?
The Papo t-rex‘ head is a bit higher, but the spines (without base) are actually almost the same. The length of the Papo running rex is shorter though.

@@lordnihilus3198 Let me have a look 😂… Would be much easier if posting pictures was possible… sooo… the spino is taller due to its sail, but the hip bones are just a few milimeters apart in height… the skulls have the same length… total length is appr. 7 cm more for the giga (mainly due to the side-faced head of the spino). The spino‘s feet appear larger than those of the giga. 😉

Dino crisis giganotosaurus
I’m kinda glad it’s a bit smaller because of shelf space and scales decently with the nanmu Spinosaurus (by that I mean it’s smaller but still looks rather large) but damn this is a must buy for me
