I know this is old but MA’AM YOU ARE A STRONG WOMAN!!😮 I couldn’t imagine going through your experience. I just found out today my gallbladder is so full of stones they thought I didn’t fast before the ultrasound. The pain is becoming unbearable. It’s to the point it doesn’t matter what I eat I have an attack. I’m just waiting on my surgeons consultation. I’ve had 3 ER visits in one month for gallbladder attacks. I’ve also had 2 kidney stone problems this year. I passed them at home. I’m so done with pain! I hope I can have surgery as soon as possible. I pray you are better and enjoying your babies now.
I really enjoyed your video. Thank you for the tip of not googling. I scared myself and don’t want to get the surgery. Looking at your video has made me say ok Doing this. I have surgery in 2 more days which if February 2. Thank you.
Good luck with your surgery!! I am glad you felt encouraged by the video. It was definitely a difficult experience and the post-op recovery was not what I had imagined, but in the end, I am now 5 months post-opt and SO SO glad I know longer have a galbladder. I hope you will feel the same and get to enjoy all the foods you once could!
@@RoshaniMortonTH-camJust want to say I share this sentiment, I GOOGLED EVERYTHING AND SCARED MYSELF TO DEATH Been watching a few videos of people that had it and ... going in tomorrow to have it.
Thanks for posting this video. I had a similar situation. 3 ER visits, perforated gallbladder with necrosis setting in, stone blocking the ducts, ERCP, and 7 days in the hospital. Over a period of 7 weeks, I lost over 20lbs. Thank you for telling your story, I know I'm not alone dealing with this crazy hot mess of a gallbladder removal. Would like to know how your eating habits have changed or not changed.
I'm about 2 weeks post op. I had an open surgery, not the common one called laparoscopy. Before I left they said you can still get gallstones even if u removed the gallbladder, it's not very common BUT it happens. Even though your gallbladder is out, our body still produces the bile fluid.
The recovery time depends of what kind of surgery u have. For me they said it might take 6 months up to a year until I'm completely healed. I had the open surgery, not the laparoscopy. Bet the laparoscopy is much faster recovery.
Yes I did have a bump, the belly button is where the galbaldder is removed laparoscopicly.... It leaves a larger hole and takes longer to recover that spot in my case
Omg 😢I’m even more grateful for the surgeon I had. I hope you’re doing well now!

I had my gallbladder removed yesterday and I’m miserable. The pain is horrible and it’s hard to move and even breathe. Hope it gets better.
Hope your recovery is going okay! 💛

Hi! Did you feel pain before your surgery?
Yes of course! I was having constant inflammation pain in my right side.
How are you now?🤞🏼
I need to get my gallbladder out. How long was the recovery for you?
