My pc can run shaders but I don’t really use them often. It’s cool to look at the first few times but after a while you just get tired of it and forget your even using shaders and decide to turn it off

Do you lag when using shaders? If so, try allocating 3 to 4 gigabytes of RAM to your Minecraft version installation instead of the default (2). I'd also lower your render distance (10-12) if you haven't already. Your components are slightly older, so you'll need to take into note that you will need to lower settings on shaders and Minecraft graphics, performance options, stuff like that. They're not extremely outdated and should be able to sustain good graphics if you use the correct settings which you'll probably have to explore and find yourself.

Hey Guys! Please help - I would like to run Vanilla Minecraft smoothly without lag, and with large render distance. Don't care about shaders, now. I'm gonna buy a new laptop, cause my old one can't deal with 1.20. What should I focus on buying? CPU, mem, or video card? Which is the most important for lagless chunk load at larger render distance? Thanks if anybody can help!! :)

Cpu and video card i guess, and dont forget to use Iris shaders (not for shaders like MollyVX or SEUS PTGI)

It's actually the cpu cause mainly the cpu core render chunks
