One underrated and underused pass is the threaded through ball. Seems like noone knows how and when to use it, to do it you hold RB and either tap Y for a long through ball or hold Y for a short one (its weird i know) and you use it as a run on pass as it goes further than a normal through ball. (idk if i explained it well haha)

Ovvy, I figured out a dribbling technique where you dont need skills. Just hold finesse while running with speed and just change directions. This is so useful, i feel like im messi ahahaha. Try it and make a tutorial on it and tell me how it works.

i cant get thru my opponents defend and they can get thru my defence very easy...

Practise and block their path to shoot. Don't just charge at them to try and get the ball. Position your player, and cut the passing options. Use your midfielders instead of defenders. Also press rb to pressure the attackers. All about timing and cutting the channels.

Stephanel 07 41212(2). This is a build up formation. Great way to pass the ball around.
One that is working for me is 4231(2). I am using a series a team. Ovvy did a video on custom tactics and player instructions which a re very important. Make sure to heck both of the vids on these formations. Good luck bro.
RON also to attack, think about going back and taking your time. Also take longshots as there is a chance to score. Pass around the attack and midfield.

The one main problem with FIFA is that you can't dribble fluidly in a realistic way through a defense because the responses of players are too slow and rigid. I know it shouldn't be easy as it would get frustrating, however it definitely needs to be improved as well as tackling. Basically players on the ball should be able to move more quickly to avoid tackles without slowing down, allowing skillful and fast-reflex players to dribble around defenders.

TheLegend27 I think it's double tap the Cross button but hold the last tap and direct the cross.

Fabio Hadano You might have held the right trigger then pressed left trigger, you need to let go of right to stop sprinting then press the two triggers down and do not use the right analog stick, use the the left when doing the skill.
He has recorded them before so that's why he does not use remotes again

FIFAHD GAMER You need to be going slightly slow however still move (Do not sprint and then press left trigger, you need to release the right trigger then do the skill move) but when you press the two triggers it automatically slows down and then you do the move in the direction you want.

Through ball tutorial? I used to be so good at them in FIFA 16 but this year I'm fucking trash with it
thepaystation Yeah there's quite a few things that are harder to do in this years FIFA. I'm not enjoying it as much as 15 and 16. Dribblings harder, through balls nowhere near as effective, no quick turn to cut in from the wings, and the penalty system is just awful.
