Just a tip - if stung by a bee don’t pick hold of it to pull it out because you squeeze the poison out of the sac and into your flesh. To remove a bee sting try to scrape it off your skin without compressing the sac.
That's clever the reverse fan to clear the vents. We always had to keep an eye on the temp gauge and when it crept up switch off and clear it with a broom. Thanks for posting....
This was great! So if a honey bee stings you, it leaves the needle and a little blatter with poison in your skin. The bee will die. If you remove the needle like this, by pulling on that blatter, you pump the last poison from the blatter in your skin. It hurts less if you use your nail to remove the blatter an needle like from under the blatter. I did some of these jobs and learned the hard way, like you. Anyway, this wasreally funny!
😂😂😂😂 sorry but the being stung bits are funny. I keep bees and when they are polite they are fantastic. When they go into kill mode they make me question why I keep them 😂😂
Really enjoyed the video , you are quite right bee stings really hurt and if you are allergic the site of the sting itches for almost 4days Ps get a bee suit
You wanted questions, so here's one: If a train leaves Leeds at 12:43 and does 64mph, and another train leaves London at 12:49, travelling at 73mph. What is the name of the stationmaster's cat where they meet each other?
Had me laughing trying to get back into the cab Tom, good show! My dad keeps bees as well, though fortunately about 10min from our farm yard. I do enjoy honey but not getting stung for no reason simply walking by the hives if i'm at their house! Would be very interesting if you could talk a bit about how your farm is setup, a bit about the history, crop rotation and size, that sort of thing.
Hi Tom, I have a question about your farm, there seems to be a lot of people working there, are they all employees of the farm, or contractors, or is it some sort of cooperative situation? I know most farmers do many jobs usually for other farmers. There seems like a decent amount of machinery who owns it all?
You should make a bee costume, disguise yourself and confuse them all by declaring you’re King Bee (as opposed to the ‘king bee). But I want to know where are all the wasps ? This year, they’ve not turned up for duty - not that I’m complaining…
I know that feeling Tom I was filling my yellow mirage sprayer up not knowing that the bee man had been to the hives and they were not happy stung al over the place
I’ve always been scared of bee stings ever since my first and only from a wasp … I’ve always been told a bee sting is far worse. Seeing a FARMER finding it really painful, and not able to hide it… Absolutely no thanks.
I feel your pain. I strimmed through a bees nest the other day which was unseen in long grass. I tried to out run them whist trying to drop the strimmer and safety helmet. Would have made a great video.
He explains in a recent video. Basically he buy all the wheat and barley from the local farmers when the price is low, stores it, then sells it all when the price per tonne rises to make money for the farm.
In relation to the answering of questions I the next vid: I want to buy a 8s.305 much like yours but with.... more options, would you give me some advice of financial tips from contractor to contractor? It's my dream tractor (yes because I sound like I'm about 5) and I think they are the next coming of sliced bread so if you do put this in the next video I would be eternally greatful. Happy farming!
@Tomlamb980 if I remember correctly you can have 6 rear spools (not in the uk in we ol New Zealand) and obviously the field star 5, as you say front 3 point PTO 2 front spools and ISO port (because I'm a sucker for not needing extra control boxes) and I think over here air brakes are a option which I want however on out farm a co-worker has a 8s.245 with a black stripe and red accents and I would have love to have a black one with red under glows and on the roof like what he has... obviously after market, but as you know possibilities
Hey Tom , Ouch mate those B@strd bees ,Right my question .... What is your favourite machine to use on the farm? I mean after the little red monster , that car is on god mode as we all know
@@Tomlamb980 As a former hydraulic hose van technician, all I can say is: "Oh dear, I can't make that hose! Sorry, can't help. Bye." I had to take our hose truck out the other day. Thankfully it was a nice easy hose, both to make and to change.
Did the owner of the house know the upstairs windows were wide open? I’d love to know how many bees made it into the house! I can empathize with you. I disturbed a nest in Northern Thailand a few years ago; receiving about 35 to 40 stings in about 5 seconds. Was NOT pleasant!
of course they like the yellow paint - they're J.C.Beeeeees 😀😀 good video Tom
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I was looking at the hoover setup and wondering if Tom sorts ghosts too?

You will bee ok. The JCBees. Really liked you.
The best laugh I have had in ages. Well done Tom.
Brave sir Robin 😂
Good evening, Tom. It's one of your best videos. What a laugh my wife was in tears laughing at it great
That is above and beyond, they think the JCB is a massive Sun Flower.
Tom Lamb... doing it for the TH-cam! 🏆 Kudos to you for getting the content
Fancy keeping the door open UNTIL YOU GOT STUNG. What a plum.

A credit card can also work as a scraper if you don't have long enough nails
If he's not too busy diging holes, perhaps your friend Coln could build you a bee suppression smoke machine? Or perhaps even a12v air condtioner?
There's a future in wildlife TV here but I'm not sure if it's David Attenborough or Steve Irwin. Brilliant.
11:20 great content again you must be tasty for the bees they like you and the JCB because it’s yellow
did the ergot grow because of moisture?
😂😂😂😂 sorry but the being stung bits are funny. I keep bees and when they are polite they are fantastic. When they go into kill mode they make me question why I keep them 😂😂
hi tom, why use liqued fertilisers rather than prilled urea, must add lot expense such as tanks/water etc?
Thanks for all the B roll! Great video Tom.
If it makes you feel any better, I just got stung by some bee’s. £45 for a jar of honey😜

Cracked me up when you run and jumped in the cab and a beer followed you in lol 😅❤
Legend! Loved the scream when you got back in the JCB and realised the bees had come in with you 🤣😂
I have a question: what is the busiest time if the year for your kind of work?

Take some Piraton antihistamine tablets to relieve the bee sting pain.
Very brave Tom
Tom, you need a bee suit! That was entertaining but if I was you I would have never left the cab! Hot or not.
Did the people in the house get any honey?
Oh no Tom I hope you are ok I know what it's like to get a Bee sting on the eyebrow it bloody painful 🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝

Should of got Chris Peckham up on the Chimney but with NO suit
NOT THE BEES!!!
That’s a problem this year the ergot. We had the same problem in n some of the barley.
Yer think it was all the rain
7:02 😮

have you ever do a wild poo on the farm?

Jesus that is a swarm.

Wouldn't it be easier and quicker to get Pirtek out for your hydraulic hose problems.
JCB make the ends special
