    I had Anders do 16 of these for me. Wonderful and sturdy.😊😊❤

      Hooray. It's very sturdy for sure. What do you grow in them?

      @@michelleinthemeadow greens, tomatoes, peppers, beans, all garden essentials. I put up trellises for squash, cuke with netting, metal poles,zip ties. I can't kneel anymore so I use my heavy-duty kneeling bench to sit on, weed. I'm planning on donating to the local food bank extra vegs.😊😊😊❤

    Thank you so much for making this video! I was one of the subscribers who asked. The H frame could have many applications in the garden! If made a little taller, I could see these being the base for a potting bench. Making this custom to the height of the gardener!🌺

      @michelleinthemeadow  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You are very welcome. That is a great point the H frame could be versatile like that because you can just screw the sides together at the right height. I'm so glad that it's helpful to you. Now I'm going to be thinking about this H frame even more. I made another small garden bed that I haven't had on video yet but it kind of looks like a Manger and has an X frame underneath but an H frame would have worked just fine. Maybe even better. As always, thank you for watching. Keep on gardening

      @@michelleinthemeadow I am thinking that in a pinch the H frames could be extra seating on the patio in the warmer months. Of course, you would have to make extra "bench" length seating or smaller seating for individual seating. The H frame would also make a good picnic table. Endless possibilities! Thank you again!

    This is awesome! What a great idea! Now if I could only find the barrels. They are crazy expensive to buy.

      Thank you I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Definitely keep an eye out on Facebook Marketplace for pre-owned ones that have been used for food safe items only. Preferably even food items like pickles or olives. I was able to pick up a little smaller Barrel a few weeks ago for around $35 that had pickles in them. Let's keep those ideas going. Happy gardening.

      Also Craigslist has them listed once in awhile. I got mine in SE MINNESOTA for $10 each, with delivery!! 10 of them.😊

      We have an olive exporter in our little town. Look for different companies in your area that may use them. They are usually sold pretty cheap that way. You probably will have to clean them out yourself. That's what makes them so cheap😊

      @@michelleinthemeadow thank you, we've been battling the crazy Texas heat... I put 70% shade cloths as we've had 6 days over 103° to 105°. However they crops have loved the shade and are still giving.
      Excited to see more of your work.

    I made one to use on my deck and it just kept sliding apart. So is it the legs digging into soil that lets it stand? So unless i screw them in place or put a block of 2x4s on legs somewhere the only way it will work on my deck?

    • @michelleinthemeadow
      @michelleinthemeadow  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Mine didn't slide completely apart, but they did slide. After making this video, some garden helpers screwed them together and I'm really happy with that. If I ever need to store them flat, I'll just remove the screws. Thanks for asking.

    Great idea! Do you think the blue holds heat more than a lighter color?

    • @michelleinthemeadow
      @michelleinthemeadow  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you. Great question. I'd never really thought about the heat, so I'm not sure on that. Perhaps since the edges are rounded under its not quite as exposed to heat at the hottest time of day. Thanks for watching. Happy Gardening.
