Thank you so much for your kind words! You made my day, and I'm glad you found my tutorial helpful! Likes are just one way to gauge feedback, and I'm SO grateful for any spiritual humans who connect with this path. Your comment means a lot to me! 🌟 Thank you for watching!
for the clove candle you might try poking a little hole in the candle after warming it and see if the clove would go in like that. Kinda like you do with oranges to make sachets at Yule.
I debated whether to keep that part in the video, but it's those unexpected bits that make it all the more real, right? Thanks for your kind words! I hope you have a lovely day!
Great simple tutorial..thank you..cloves sticking into candles..use ur skewer and heat it..dig holes in candle and stick cloves into them, heat of wax should seal them in. Good luck x
I have done candle magic in past,I haven’t in awhile, when I did it earlier it was dripping to left, what I got was maybe I need to cleanse, what is your thought
Hi Amanda - just a suggestion following this video... perhaps if you microwave/heat the coconut oil, then add the herb mix and pour into the channels of the larger candles. Also, as suggested by @leauphillips3563 below, using a metal straw or spike of some sort to poke holes into the wax for the cloves to sit in? (When I add cloves to roasting pork, I'll make small slits (or X's) in the pork skin for the cloves to sit in, which works really well). I also love how, using what's to hand (or mouth 😆) as tools for magic is such a natural thing. When we consider the practices of the past centuries, the practitioners weren't always able to access obscure ingredients, so they used what they had, or what they could grow, or what they could fashion out of the raw materials around them. I feel that, bringing in the elements and nature adds an honesty to our intentions.
I’m sure you have written about it somewhere but do you have any resources for herbs and their powers? I grow so many but I am not sure where to find consistent sources that remind me what the herbs are best used for :)
It's funny you ask because writing the correspondences for herbs is always on my to-do list! I've currently only written about Lavender's magical properties (I’ll leave a link below in case you’re interested). Scott Cunningham's book “Encyclopedia of Magical Herbs” is great if you’re only looking for herbal correspondences. I wouldn’t recommend anything else, though, because there’s a lot of cultural appropriation and stereotypical gender designations in his work (which he openly admits in his resources section). Personally, I like to think about how an herb works in Nature, in our bodies, or for medicinal purposes. For example, lavender helps ease anxiety and is very calming. It also brings me and the bees a lot of joy! So I believe those would correspond with lavender's magical workings too! After that, I use my intuition to determine which use works best for me. I believe it’s so much more accurate than anything a book or blog tells you. I hope that helps! Have a lovely day Nicole! www.thepeculiarbrunette.com/the-magical-properties-of-lavender-botanical-and-herb-magic/
Do not try to place the cloves as you said because if fire gets to the round part of the clove it will literally explode and might cause fire even away from the candle. Love from Greece
I do not understand why this does not have that many likes. This is a very good guided tutorial. Very knowledgeable. Thank you for sharing!

Hi Amanda! Thank you so much for your helpful videos! I have a question, can you dress and anoint cord cutting candles in advance?
Thank you! Yes you sure can! I often do this before a holiday or moon phase. :)
Do not try to place the cloves as you said because if fire gets to the round part of the clove it will literally explode and might cause fire even away from the candle. Love from Greece
Where do you get those chunky chime candles. I can only seem to find the smaller ones?
I got them at an occult/oddities shop in Idaho Falls called Shadow Domain. I don't think they sell their stuff online. 🖤
Can I use essential oils?
yes you can, but don't use too much or it will affect the burn. Remember, a little goes a long way. :)
Love ❤your sweetness of cslmness
