That out of the way...
This is my attempt at creating a full length version of "Everybody Loves My Baby" that's found in Boardwalk Empire Season 4, seems how the soundtrack only has an instrumental version.
Its pretty bad, but hey just thought I'd try my hand at it, and if you notice its the same verse three times in a row, seems how there was only 3 minutes of good audio... In the scene a second verse can be heard, but through a door or something so it had a strange echo sound to it and didn't work :(

You could watch this scene and close your eyes and really believe you were going to a Club in the 1920s... they did an unbelievable job with the soundtrack in this show

Ryan: Thanks for doing this for us. Have been in touch with Vince who has shared with me why the variation between the CD & the vocal version used in the show. Let me know if you are interested in what he had to say. My hunch was correct that the arrangement is the same but the difference is due partially to key & tempo changes to match the style & range of the vocal artist.

Can't believe this wasn't licensed in the soundtracks. Not only this but there were a handful of other tracks (non vocal) that were great which weren't included.
Don't know what HBO or whoever put those albums together were smoking at the time.

Yes, thanks for uploading and for trying. I expected better from Boardwalk Empire when they released their album and this track was only instrumental. For shame HBO!

Eclipz, Yes Definitely! I figured it was probably something to do with the actresses own copy write somehow!
Vince Giordano who's band is featured in the show doesn't even have a copy of this to send me. He agrees that the crescendo reached at 1:13 backed by a chorus of trumpets gives a stronger rhythm section. Yet this version was not on the CD soundtrack. PLEASE contact me if you have an mp3 or any source file of this. We don't care how you got it or made it. I would appreciate it very much and so would vice who's band is playing the music. Thanks
Vince tried to get a proper version of this released on ITunes but that would need Daughter Maitland's approval. I might contact her and act as intermediary. There IS a another vocal version of this released on cd but without the climatic trumpet/horn chorus that gives it such a rhythmic backbone.
The second crescendo at 2:10 with the siren of the trumpet and then again the wonderful horn section making the chorus bold. The cd released version lacks this and seems tepid in comparison. Thanks again for uploading this.
Still hoping for the audio file you used. I won't share it. THS heals me. Restores me. Music is my breath. 15yrs of battling Leukemia has taught me that nothing but music like this can be more healing on a cellular level. Pretty please????
