it's a tradeoff, you don't have to wait anymore to get your EV charged. Just swap batteries and within a couple minutes and you're good to go as quickly as you'd otherwise in an ICE scooter.
They will usually be placed in Honda dealerships, petrol bunks and metro stations. The battery gives 70 kms of range, so within city limits you should find one.
I have no idea what Honda was thinking with this scooter. Quite frankly I think the people at Honda India are asleep at the wheel. The Activa has barely received any updates, the electric scooter lineup is not on par to its competitors, and even the Honda Unicorn is left forgotten. If Honda does not wake up soon, they will lose the Indian market. This scooter might be suitable for those living in apartments, but it should be priced at INR 90k and the cost of charging the battery should be lower at least half of the price of filling up a tank of petrol. Only then will this scooter see any chance of selling.
Hopefully OEM’s comes out with a swapable EV scooter itself.
What's the use of scooter if it doesn't have any boot space. It'll not work for honda in india

Scooter is the fastest in small distance travell.
Each time you have to walk here and there in search of swaping stations...😂

These batteries will get stolen in no time. Good luck with that Honda
I'm pretty sure a big company like Honda has thought this through. There must be a locking mechanism once the battery is inserted into the dock.
Hyderabad don't have a dealer?

Home charging is best bad idea…soon battery theft is possible
How many reported in vida , revolt
Home charging is not suitable for people in apartments. This scooter can work but it will depend on price of scooter and cost of charging the battery.
