They got a good reason for it since in the game the California governor stopped funding to army vets so they wanted to kill the governor but failed but on this map they're trying to kill the governors family as revenge for leaving them out to dry. Plus their gang name is "The left behind".

Joining the army will teach you how to be brave and other very valuable life lessons that you will never learn in civvy street. If your country and the Army requires you to go into battle and fight the enemy, then at that point you will be ready and you will have all your fellow soldiers around you. You will want to go. Trust me, it's the best job in the world. When you leave one day you will have transferable skills to take into CIVVY SREET and land a decent day job middle to top level management and climb higher. That's what I've done. Never give up !
Or just become a cadet for a while if you have that wherever you are in the world. It gives you a taste of what the military is like, but not as many commitments. Then you can decide.

Yes be extremely fit, swim well and be able to run at least 6 miles at a decent speed with 10 kg on your back without giving up as train and build up your strength years before you join or go for selection. Then learn to be a team player It's all about team work and working well with others.
