I love this interview. I lost a cousin to the streets of LA. He was affiliated with gangs and sadly lost his life to gang violence at 17. This is a wonderful story of redemption. I pray for this young man. May he continue to share his testimony so that he can be a positive influence to others walking in his same footsteps. Kudos to his mom. She never gave up on her son and loved him wherever he was at. Much love.

Hats off to Richard for putting in the work and never giving up Brotha. Much respect for his Mom for making no excuses. Respect you both and the grind of street live and motherhood! It isn't easy.
I’m happy to see he was able to change his life. Always good to see raza come up. The best part of the story was when mom tells him to call his dad and pops just had the best advice for him. It just highlights how important dads are to the whole equation. He sounds like a good dad himself. Wish you the best in your life.
Hello Francisco, It's truly inspiring to witness Richard's transformation and the positive impact it has had on his life. Family support, as shown by his father's advice, can be incredibly influential in shaping our paths. It's heartening to see how Richard has embraced fatherhood and is making a positive difference in his own children's lives. His journey is a testament to the power of resilience and determination.
Amazing mother Richard has and you can tell of course she wasn’t a perfect mother but the fact that’s she so in-tuned with herself and her son and the damaged she caused him through his life and that she acknowledges it is truly amazing. Love and light to you Richard 🙏🏻
Her perfection as a mother lies in her imperfection. It's how we choose to grow from our mistakes that brings out the best in us as people, in my opinion ❤
How was she amazing ??? Having men around Richard all his life , and she’s saying she didn’t know Richard had altercations with these men .he says she was always with men on drugs n alcohol & it affected him . She admitting he wanted her to leave the men she was with n she didn’t. We all know there’s those type of women that care about men more then there kids .. n she’s one of them there is nothing wrong with that. But I’ve been seeing all these videos where everybody is praising her she looks like a drug addict and clearly she wasn’t there for her son
He went through so much.. Im glad he turned his life around. He is a very powerful speaker... The interview with him and his primo polly is so touching..

Lourdes' positive impact on Richard's life is truly inspiring. Her bravery and transparency in discussing her challenges as a single mother have undoubtedly shaped Richard into the person he is today. Her acknowledgment of the need for therapy and her support for Richard as he becomes a father shows her strength and dedication. She is a remarkable woman, and her influence on Richard's life is clearly profound. Thank you Beeez for your comment and time! Blessings!

Hello Gerard, It's wonderful to hear that you found Richard Cabral's interview so meaningful and inspiring. His journey is truly motivational, and it's great to see how he's making positive changes. Your support and encouragement mean a lot!
Richard has a very loving mom, and you can see the love she has for her son. She shows him so much grace. If only we could have that same grace for ourselves that we have for our kids. She is hard on herself for the mistakes she's made. I pray she finds forgiveness for herself. Her son turned out successful, and she also had a role to play in that. Great documentary!
Hello Felicia, It's truly heartwarming to see the love and grace between Richard Cabral and his mother. Their story is inspiring, and you're right, finding forgiveness for oneself can be a powerful journey. Their relationship is a testament to the impact of love and support in one's life. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the documentary! Blessings!
" we came to this world innocent this life just throws us here and there" hit me powerful words so far. How many of us watching this can relate to this.
Hello, Richard Cabral's story, especially his relationship with his mother, can be incredibly moving. It's clear the bond between them is strong, and her support has been a crucial part of his journey. Many people find her strength and love deeply touching.
“You ever fucked on heroin?” Was my first time I seen him and that blew me away me and my friends still use that line from time to time much respect to Richard
lourdes theres nothing wrong with him being a mommas boy to me it says u raised a good man because the respect he shows the woman who gave him life says alot about a young man. thx 4 sharing your stories enjoyed it...
I'm sitting here listening to your words and can't help but hear my own thoughts. Being disgusted by my actions as a teen mom. But I'm happy to see where my son and I are now.
Amazing documentary of his life. His mother speaks out of love like a mother should. Richard is an inspiration to anyone who is thinking about changing their life. Richard I will keep you, your mother, daughter and fiancé in my prayers . Keep your head held high and follow the path GOD clearly made for you. Mucha suerte, salud y lluvia de bendiciones 🙏🏻💙🙌🏻
Thanks you soo much for sharing this journey with us it’s exactly how we grew up how this really affected my brother I’m sharing this with him in hopes that he will see past his past into a new path thank God for all trials to lead to him pure LOVE❤
Anyone can make a change as long as they’re willing to make that change and have faith that they can become something greater! So proud of him for changing his life around for his kids sack !! ❤
Growing up in East La its hard to not go down that path as a Kid. You either into extracurricular after school activities which keep you away from bad influences or have a dad who instilled that fear in your heart to not disappoint him. Moms do their best with their sons but at some point its out of their control. Thats why having their biological father in the home is crucial. My Dad was part of a gang in East los and made it his mission to keep us away from being out too late when the street lights came on we was supposed to be home and gave us beatings that were justified now in hindsight he saved us from ourselves.
Great Documentary, Richard , continue to let God 🙏🏻 guide you on your journey in life keep the Faith .. your mom is beautiful 🥰 never give up on your dreams and never let anyone say you can’t do it, continue to be you 😊 May God Bless you & your Family with Goodness & Mom 🙏🏻
Thank you for your kind words and encouragement. Richard Cabral's journey is indeed inspiring, and I'm glad you enjoyed the documentary. His mother, Lourdes, has been an incredible source of strength and support throughout his life. Her love and guidance have played a crucial role in shaping Richard into the person he is today. Let's continue to spread positivity and hope. God bless you and your family as well Annette!
I felt privileged, back in ironwood in D yard he showed me the flyer when he clicked up with charlie row. He knew people hate and negativity with in the crowd is real so when he showd and told me how he was getting out to this but was like keep it on the low i felt privileged. I wished nothing but success to the homie and he opened up anhope path for many of us. Showing us that we can over come these streets never go back to the pen and be successful. So if any one questions his authenticity, he was a real one, he was really on the frontlines handleling business. Just seen him on the series twisted metal. Keep pushing ma boy!
Gonzalez! Thanks for sharing your story with us. Hopefully, you and yours are doing as good as Richard. A LOT of the youth needs to hear y'all testimonies, and possibly help them along the tracks of life. And thank you for watching! Blessings sir!

I can relate to mom /as a single mom of 2 kids by the age of 23 and their dads didn’t stick around I wanted a father for them so when I met a man that was stable and treated them as is own we married and I went on to have 3 more kids fast forward 10 years of marriage I divorced him bc he was a white collar alcoholic and he left after the divorce leaving me with 5 kids with no dad and by that time I was used to having a family so began my search for them a father. A few failed relationships and then I was married again just didn’t end up in divorce, but I realize now I have always been all they needed ❤❤
Proud of you Richard i love your work brother i been listening to your rap for years. So many of us have similar stories growing up its a trip. Ill be looking out for your upcoming work hermano. Saludos desde NM
I can’t relate to mothers who put men before their kids. My mom stayed single my whole life and everyone would tell her she needs a man and she would always say we’re all she needs. She’s alone now, I could afford living in Hawaii anymore and my sisters also moved away. My mom had a stroke when I was 12 and we were raising her back to health as kids so the resentment/live we have for her is heartbreaking. I wish she dated. I wish she has someone to live with her right now. She made us her everything and she’s now alone as we try to raise our children and make family for ourselves.
Is not ur fault either, Mama. u did the best u could, and u deserve to be happy too, and Ricardo needs to understand that he's not gonna give up his life just to be with u I understand am a mother and I have 3 sons and my oldest is just like him I made the same mistakes no one is born with a book on how to deal with life how to raise a child but ur a good mom can see it in ur eyes in ur heart but also deserve to be happy I wish I could meet you just by looking at u through a screen u can tell ur a great person mother friend God bless ya and keep u and ur safe always
Hello Muñeca, It's clear you empathize deeply with Lourdes and her journey as a mother. Your understanding and support shine through your words. Continue growing and expanding bro, we have our own place in this world and it is liberating and inspiring to witness our Gente achieve success out of adverse conditions. Much Love, respect, peace and success. Much respect to your Jefita and your Fams. May they continue to be examples of how valueable it is to have the support of your loved ones. @carlosornelaspoetry
You and your son's mother may not have been able to do what you were supposed to do...together. That doesn't mean that you weren't able to still do what you were supposed to do as a father. And if this documentary has taught us anything It's that in the end you found a way to do what you were supposed to. Your children are lucky to have you as their father, your mother is lucky to have you as her son, your homies are lucky to have you as their friend, and we are certainly lucky to have you to watch as fans! Much love and respect to you Richard, your story is an inspiration
Respect to LuLu this video popped up on my you tube feed lost contact with her for a minute I used to work with her in the city commerce I also got the privilege to meet Richard cool guy. Thanks for posting wish I could get in contact from her friend FRANK

What a sweet thought, this baby was put on her chest. She saw babies dimple and felt the deep love for her baby not knowing if it was even a boy or girl.
What i get from this is the revolving door of why fathers so important this women needed a father in her life the son needed a father but im glade to see the son ended the cycle. The mom liked thugs it seemed that what she had around so the son pulled towards that and the influence of his uncles
Gerardo! Thank you so much for your kind words! We're thrilled to hear that you found the documentary meaningful. It's our goal to shed light on important topics and convey their impact authentically. Your support means a lot, and we hope to continue creating content that resonates with you! Blessings!

I know he’s so proud he can give his kids a different life than he had. I know mom is the best grandma too!! ❤😊 Great doc! The end there he really let his guard down and showed vulnerability. He’s such a positive young man! I wish him the best and send love and light to his family! ❤😊
Thankfully you made it out of all that and are where are today. You had a good supportive mother. That means a lot. I have son and daughter never in gangs gracias a Dios. But the fact that they had both mom and dad in their lives makes a big difference but it doesn’t mean you don’t make it out with your own will. You can and you did praise God that you did. So did I, never got into trouble but became a teen mom of twins at 15. No matter what I had been through at that point it didn’t prepare me to be a mom. Just like your mom and be strong. 💪🏻 I was a mother and push myself through high school, college and ended up with an associates degree, bachelors and masters degree. Despite what I was going through in life. I made it happen. Keep doing great. Now it’s your turn to change generational curses. I did with my own children. They are two college educated and productive adults in society. ❤ May God bless your mom and you as well as your family. I am a big fan of Mayans.
Hello Graciela, It's incredible to hear about your journey and how you overcame challenges to create a better future for yourself and your children. Your strength and determination are truly inspiring. Richard Cabral's story also reflects the power of resilience and the impact of strong family support. It's wonderful to see how both you and he have been able to change the course of your lives and break generational cycles. Your story is a testament to the human spirit's ability to triumph over adversity. Thank you for sharing your story, and may you continue to inspire others with your resilience and success! Y gracias a Dios!
Richard and Lourdes I happen to stumble on to this and I must say I was so happy to see you both and have to say I’m sooo proud of both of you!! Love and Respect Always And Mijo your Momma has always wanted the best for you !! Take care of her now! And yourself!!❤
U done came a long way my boi nd u make da raza proud to have somebody like you homie coming from da struggle da system keep doing your thang bro love nd respect from Dallas.
Wow, I can relate to this Mama’s story so very much. Two children without fathers and they want someone to show up but they end up putting you and your children down. It’s time to move on but they still give you that little bit of hope of being a man but they can’t…
Hello Little Sparrow, It sounds like you see a lot of parallels in your own life. It can be incredibly challenging to navigate relationships where there are disappointments and unfulfilled expectations. It's admirable that you're looking to move forward despite these challenges. Your resilience and strength will guide you to better days! Blessings!
Not to side track from their story but I really couldn’t help but think about the how the system works, like no wonder jails are over populated. I can instantly tell Richard is such a great guy, down to earth and all things positive. I really don’t think he deserved even a second behind bars! And seeing how everything in his life has brought him to the present time, only makes sense after listening his mom speak! I believe a lot of Richards “reckless” years as a teen had been a result of hanging out with the wrong crowd..in a way. But the life he is living now just speak volumes about his mother and the way she truly raised him. I’ve told myself before and I tell people too, we shouldn’t be ashamed of our past, because we are who we are because of it. As long as we grow from it and learn whatever lesson that’s needed we should be good 🩵
I am a NY and I remember being sentence to 4-8 for an arm robbery in 93 On my way to Clinton Dannemora I ran into a few doing 25 .One of them told me the only way I was gonna stop behaving bad and running in the streets and in and out of jail that I would have to be really tired of that life. And he was right ! I came to jail in 1993 extremely tired .I was and the end I COULD NOT GO ANY FURTHER. I went in in 1993 and came out 1999. I turned my life around 360 fast forward as soon as I got to Port Authority I had a union construction job waiting for me that Monday. 2024 I just retired with a pension after 23yrs in the union. To anyone out there living that fast life it will catch up to you trust me .Give your self a chance . Much respect to Richard and his family for believing in him

This a good interview. My heart goes out to this young man. Sending prayers! His mom is beautiful and they love each other very much!
Hello Angelaca, It's clear that Richard's mom has a deep connection with him. She seems to have a lot of love and understanding for her son.
Blessings to you Richard 🙏
Hello Maria, Blessings to you as well. Thank you for your kind words!
I like him as coco in the Mayan series
Right! Thank you for watching and for your positive comment!
I googled Richard when I first saw him on tv. Wishing you and your familia the best life has to offer.
Absolutely a great interview and video.

I'm glad you found the documentary impactful! Richard's story is indeed a testament to the power of change and resilience.
Thank You for this beautiful story 🤜🏽🤛🏽
I felt privileged, back in ironwood in D yard he showed me the flyer when he clicked up with charlie row. He knew people hate and negativity with in the crowd is real so when he showd and told me how he was getting out to this but was like keep it on the low i felt privileged. I wished nothing but success to the homie and he opened up anhope path for many of us. Showing us that we can over come these streets never go back to the pen and be successful. So if any one questions his authenticity, he was a real one, he was really on the frontlines handleling business. Just seen him on the series twisted metal. Keep pushing ma boy!

A mom it's everything bro she's the one it's going to be with you in good times bad times God bless your mom

Thanks for publishing cant wait to watch fully.. i respect this dude. What a beautiful story from the jump. Praise Jesus! Bless 🙏
Thank you for watching and noticing the beauty! Blessings jeR-m!
Your mom was solid 💯💯
Is not ur fault either, Mama. u did the best u could, and u deserve to be happy too, and Ricardo needs to understand that he's not gonna give up his life just to be with u I understand am a mother and I have 3 sons and my oldest is just like him I made the same mistakes no one is born with a book on how to deal with life how to raise a child but ur a good mom can see it in ur eyes in ur heart but also deserve to be happy I wish I could meet you just by looking at u through a screen u can tell ur a great person mother friend God bless ya and keep u and ur safe always

She is such a wonderful mother and so insightful
You and your son's mother may not have been able to do what you were supposed to do...together. That doesn't mean that you weren't able to still do what you were supposed to do as a father. And if this documentary has taught us anything It's that in the end you found a way to do what you were supposed to. Your children are lucky to have you as their father, your mother is lucky to have you as her son, your homies are lucky to have you as their friend, and we are certainly lucky to have you to watch as fans! Much love and respect to you Richard, your story is an inspiration

What i get from this is the revolving door of why fathers so important this women needed a father in her life the son needed a father but im glade to see the son ended the cycle. The mom liked thugs it seemed that what she had around so the son pulled towards that and the influence of his uncles
Amazing video. I’m astounded by the real affliction this has as a whole.

As long as we grow from it and learn whatever lesson that’s needed we should be good 🩵
This gotta be the longest intro in film history I ate 2 burros by the time the intro was over 😂
