Hearing "We now have a discord! :D" after a story about a gang of people breaking into someones house, driving them out to somewhere, and then executing them for no reason is really weird.
The guy playing dead after being stabbed was lucky. There have been many people that were stabbed repeatedly even after death, so that he only stabbed him once was actually pretty lucky
Repeated stabbings are more common in crimes of passion and mental episodes tho, not so often in robbery. He is lucky it was a robbery tho, of the three scenarios
@@darkshadowrule2952Robbery is most common if you stay away from crazy. And it was likely fake. Like one of my relatives claims she stabbed a robber in the hand when they were coming through the window. I don't remember it entirely but apparently there's proof but try to take stories with a grain of salt.
@@darkshadowrule2952 I guess but I'm tired of people in the comments making up there own and getting sympathy. "When I was 7 my mother shot me 7 times" that one has over 70 likes.
@@cosygoose1813 oh yeah, that one was weak. But most of the people who fall for that sort of thing come off like they're thirteen, they'll grow out of it. And in the meantime, it's relatively harmless
The guy that said “my family has such horrible luck on vacations” and then proceeded to list off a bunch of known dangerous countries had me laughing so hard 😂
This video has taught me some important things: Don't go to Africa Own a gun Don't go to parties Don't walk around at night Don't let strangers lives with you, even if they seem "chill"
@@cosygoose1813 what happens if they have a firearm, and you dont? you're fucked. if they have a knife, you're semi-fucked. but if you have a gun, you're a LOT less fucked.
To explain the reason why I think they didn’t fully sedate that guy who was getting an incision in their arm pit is because the doctors were probably worried they wouldn’t have woken up. I’m just a highschool student in an EMT class though so take what I say with a grain of salt, I just know that certain situations need different types of anesthetics which also depend on the patient’s condition and the severity of it. Plus anesthetics can slow down a person’s breathing. This is just my take on it, idk why I randomly fixated on that part, I guess it’s just because I’ve been in a bunch of medical classes throughout highschool pfff
IIRC, it's because the chest cavity is filling with air/blood (AKA a Pneumothorax/Hemothorax) and they need to stop that as soon as possible, meaning there just isn't time to put someone under. Especially considering they'd been bleeding out for around 30 minutes at that point? I'd wager they're extremely lucky to be alive today.
There's a big chance you might not know what I'm talking about, but in case you do, sorry for accidentally starting a gigantic reply chain in another video -also what was the word-
@@DijionEugene There's also the fact, that the deeper the anesthesia, the higher all the risks related to it. If a procedure doesn't require being put to sleep, the risk would be taken in vain. (Because all of the drugs and machinery needed)
For story 11 people don't realize how serious SBS is. SBS is when an infant is shaken and so its head wobbles and since its bones are mostly cartilage the veins can slip out of place and get constricted by the spine causing blood flow to and from the brain to slow or sometimes even stop causing a bloated head and bleeding eyes and eventually killing the baby via a stroke. If you are stressed and your baby won't stop crying put it down because crying won't kill it but shaking it will.
That mother was trying to kill her child so I am sure she was aware of the danger. You don't get life insurance on a baby... unless you KNOW they are going to die. Life insurance doesn't pay anything until the insured person is dead.
By luck, I wasn't in the attempted terrorist bombing of the "underwear bomber" in the plane Northwest airline 253 on 25th December 2009 from the Netherlands to Detroit. The travel agency called me if I wanted to take the same flight a week earlier for half the original price. Ofc I said yes to an extra vacation week. While in the US I didn't hear about the bombing, I heard about it in the airport on my way back. The realization that was the flight I was supposed to take made the flight home the scariest ever. Extra info: it was an attempted bombing cuz the bomb caught fire instead of going off. A brave passenger overpowered him, the fire was stopped and everyone lived.
My own mother tried turning my brother and I against our dad. After she lied in court and coached us we wound up with her with full custody. With the way she acted she only wanted my brother not me. She became verbally and emotionally abusive, tried to convince me to end myself. I once broke down saying that I had tried but all I got were insults back. I even went to my aunt but she just dismissed and downplayed everything. I have no love for the women who gave birth to me. Sometimes I still struggle with dark thoughts because of what I went through.
@@EyeLean5280 Thanks. I have called around but have ether gotten no response back or they wound up not taking my insurance, even if they listed that they did on site. Yeah I don't get it either. Almost got some through my other aunt but unfortunately my mother sabotaged it.
Are you still a minor and still living with her? If so, you have to get out. If you are already out or when you get out, cut ties. You can't undo the abuse but you can save yourself from any further trauma. You will probably always want to gain her approval and ens up feeling worse about yourself so just cut ties. Save yourself. One thing to consider is that she doesn't like you because you are nothing like her. From what you have said about her, that is a big compliment. How is your relationship with your dad?
Road rager followed me into the 7-11 lot i got out of my car but tripped on the curb just as they were swinging a broken tire iron at my head. Being clumsy saved me and them.
My mom tried to kill me by feeding me and herself chemicals from under the sink. The chemical she chose wasn’t that toxic so it wouldn’t have killed us in that small amount. I was a kid so don’t remember how long I was in the hospital, but do remember screaming for my mom in the ambulance. At the time I guess I still wanted my mommy even if she was the one who did that to me. We are cool now btw, she was having a manic episode
Manic episodes arent a good excuse bro it doesnt excuse her behavior 💀 i get everyone is different but still..she should've served jail time. (Coming from someone who is bipolar, so no, i didnt pull words out my ass)
I've accidentally consumed 2 poisons In my life. First time was when a poison Dart frog escaped from its container. I, being my knowledgeable self, knew that I could handle the poison Dart frog as long as I was careful NOT to put my fingers in my mouth. As I'm on my way to a special sink that has grit scrub and a special soap for poisions... I stick my finger in my mouth to lick off some peanut butter from before I had to handle the froggo... lets just say I looked back at my hand, the at the handler who was taking me to the sink, and then back at my hand, and then saying, "Call the EMT, I just licked my hand by accident." I still washed my hands and felt completely fine while I was escorted to the hospital. My body did eventually try to retch and it became really hard to move, I felt sluggish for like a whole of 10 mins before I came to my senses. The doctor still treated me, but said that she was surprised that my body managed to disperse the toxins as well as it did. The second time was when I inhaled a little too much hydrochloric acid fumes during an experiment. Once again my handy dandy weird body abilities came in clutch by simply causing me to exhale literally anything in my lungs before taking a deep breathe in. Minor burns but nothing bad!
You mean, just now? Or in general? Because in my opinion we are doomed for decades now. No way back. 😢 Makes me very sad sometimes. Just to think of reasons why I want to be a part of this planet or life anymore... Can't find many...
Why? These things aren’t new. In fact, crime rates have been on a downward trend. The only reason you hear about more horrible crimes these days is that the internet and 24 hour news cycle are new concepts, the crimes are not
@@torstenopohlYeah, the only reason I’ve been sticking around is because I just had a baby and she has brought me a lot of hope. She makes me happy. Before I was pregnant, I was pretty down a lot. I was going through a lot in my relationship, although we were getting better and we planned of having a baby within the year. Things got better from there and we’re doing better now. She gave both of us hope for the future. I guess we both were just dealing with stuff.
🤣 the reason you’re conscious during a chest drain is because 1) it’s not hugely painful - just uncomfortable with the local anaesthetic as you said. 2) it’s an emergency procedure - we have to do it asap to get you breathing properly again! A tension pneumothorax can cause cardiac arrest! We simply don’t have the time to put you under GA!
That first story is the exact reason why gun owners shoot home intruders. If someone breaks into your house you have no clue what their intentions are, what they're going to do to you. They've already committed by one horrible crime by breaking into your house, how does someone know they don't intend on going further?
Friend of mine escaped an armed robbery by just drunkenly telling the guy “No”, throwing up on the floor and waking away. Weeks later, he met the robber at a bar, and was told “Your reaction confused me so much, that I just went home and decided to never do that shit again. Also, the gun was fake.” The both of them are apparently friends now…
Not murder by legal definition but I have a scar on my arm from the time I nearly got mugged. My first response was to fight. Didn’t realize until after that the only reason the knife didn’t fit me was I had caught it in my arm and it skidded away from my chest. He got a broken nose a concussion and a record. I got a scar and another near death experience.
yeah, what's this ANOTHER? I'll give you all one, not me. Friend of a friend, very mellow guy. He was mugged at gunpoint and handed over his wallet. The mugger was young and nervous and accidentally shot him, then! My friend's friend, kinda annoyed, drawled, "Well, you didn't have to SHOOT me." 😂 Only 😂 because Obviously, he survived. He was one of the most chill dudes I ever met, the shooter might have been more traumatized by it than he was. 😂 Just realized maybe it even stopped the mugger's criminal career plan!
The railings on a bridge snapped as a guy held me at knife point and i landed on the roof of a bus, thing took me right by a police station and to a nearby bus stop. Never felt so lucky in my life.
My dad has a few of these stories. When my parents started dating, my dad got a job at a gas station near my mom, and found out that a girl who worked there a few months prior was founded in the dumpster after a customer used a payphone to call the cops because the gas station was completely unattended. The station got some protective shielding for the employees behind the counter before my dad started because of that. A few months into working there my dad was closing up and saw a car stalled in the empty parking lot, and called the police, like a half an hour later, a cop car pulls into the lot and the stalled car peels out of there. My dad talked to the officer and found out the operator didn't even put his call forward to any officers, the cop was just driving by and thought the car was suspicious. Needless to say, my dad's boss was furious when she found out, called the station and laid into the operator's supervisor. Not sure if anything was done, but I am convinced that cop saved my dad. And then when my dad was in college, he was with a couple of friends, and one of the friends got drunk and trapped my dad in the guy's room with him, and had the two women in the house ( another friend and the guy's mom) bring him all of the guns in the house. He found out after a bit that they were unloading the guns before bringing them, and he yelled at them about it, so out of fear for their lives, they brought in the guns loaded. After a couple hours, the guy picks up a gun, points it at my dad and fires. Luckily, he picked up an empty one. The guy's mom convinced him to let my dad and his friend go, and they left to get the police, but by the time police got there he had shot himself. They got him to the hospital and stabilized him, but as soon as he was out he finished the job. I never met the guy, it happened before my parents even met, but apparently the guy was a good friend. My dad vaguely spoke about it when I was a kid (like stating he lost a friend), but I didn't find out about it fully until I was in highschool. I'm surprised he doesn't have really bad ptsd, because that was over the course of an entire day.
I got mugged once and the dude's knife was completely caught in my winter coat (I was in Alaska, so I had one of those really poofy jackets). I pulled away and his knife got ripped out of his hand. I lived in a shitty neighborhood at the time, and was walking back with a month of groceries I couldn't afford to replace so I felt the need to defend myself. I only had the one pack and also hiked at the time, so I had a machete on the side of the bag. I pulled that out and that guy ran right into a cop car that had been parked there the whole time. Officer saw the whole thing. Only time I've ever had a cop around when I needed one.
I had a bad feeling about neighbors down the street who were of the rougher sort and really into light drugs and abusing alcohol. Our kids were around the same age, and they played together sometimes as littler kids but I wanted them at my house. Our boys were separated by a year in school and I was relieved because as they got older they found friends in their own grades. Family members were like “why don’t you have those kids around anymore, they were around a lot previously?” They thought the kids were such good friends. I could have furthered that relationship if I wanted but I didn’t because I could see the writing on the wall about how this would end. Some people wallow in what they know, and others rise above it. Fact was that my bio dad was around drunks and stoners a lot when I was a kid and they weren’t very functional good people who could be trusted to do the right thing…because substance abuse. I’m sorry, they just weren’t and they didn’t put out good or trustworthy vibes. And quite frankly my bio dad was the same sort and I just didn’t want anything to do with it anymore. I’m the “rise above it” sort. It comes with a rough crowd, let’s be honest here. Fast forward and the little boy that grew up with the rough family got shot in a drug deal gone wrong. If my son had stayed friends with him, he likely would have done drugs too-maybe even been around people like that. And even later on that that-our area’s local pot dealer (prior to legalizing) and his ten year old kid were home when some of his rougher clientele stopped by. He let them in to buy drugs. Little did he know that these junkies had zero intention to PAY for the drugs, oh no. Their bright idea was to rob him and kill him. Steal the drugs, steal the money in the house. So they tied up him and his little boy and stabbed them to death. Or at least they thought so. The grown man died alright-but his 10 year old had been tied up a little too tightly with cords to the point that it formed a tourniquet that slowed his blood flow. By the time someone found them, he was still alive enough to save. The problem? One of the knife stabs severed this child’s spinal cord and he never walked again. Not to mention the massive trauma he suffered emotionally laying dying full of stab wounds next to his dead father in a pool of blood all night. He recognized the killers as former buyers and tearfully said “I thought you were our friends? Why are you doing this to us???” They ignored him and stabbed him repeatedly anyway. I heard that he’s a drunken drug addicted angry mess as a man. He has never been ok again for obvious reasons. And he never took another step again, confined to a wheelchair. This is why I didn’t want my kids near mind altering substance users. I remembered that feral not all there scary look in the eyes of my dad’s druggy friends. I remember just automatically knowing that I wasn’t safe, recognizing that dangerous feral crazy mean dog gleam in their eye and getting the hell away from them and staying away. I was too little to understand it, but I knew it meant “danger”. Instinctively knew. The neighbor kid got shot young and never did anything with his life. My son was in extra curricular activities in school to keep him busy and out of any sort of trouble (idle hands, am I right?) as well as had an after school part time job to pay for his car insurance which also kept him busy and out if trouble-and he became a CO (jailer) at a police department as an adult. I don’t think it’s coincidence how these two paths diverged.
Family from story 8 definitely would survive a horror movie franchise. Also tho I can’t fathom not taking a hint and like , never travelling again ??? I wouldn’t test the gods that much !!
It was 2 years ago, there was a couple guys who tried to harass me and my friend They did this for a couple days straight, trying to convince one another that I was their girlfriend, them trying to take a drink from my sprite bottle, and them threatening to kill me using a karambit. I escaped by telling them to do it, and kill me They responded with calling me emo and running away I was 13
I survived an unalive attempt when I was 14. A woman I knew (the mother of my then best friend) tried to off me with her vehicle because I had a crush on her daughter who was younger than us. It missed me by about an inch. A bit of an overreaction if you ask me.
My jealous coworkers tried to kill me when I was working for Veolia by sabotaging my equipment, I was supposed to fall to my death but the harness jamed in an enxtricable and unexplained way preventing me to fall 100 meters down. Many people know, me included, that this act was premiditated and not the first weird occurrence at this place. I was left hanging there before the rescue team arrive. Be always careful about who you're working with, some places are dirty and will attract dirty people...
My mom had a pretty crazy childhood. One day, when her parents were out, one of her sisters hid the brother's drugs, and he got a hunting rifle and tried to kill them all. All of them hid under the porch, and the sound of the shotgun made my mom scream. He found them but had a hard time getting the gun under to shoot. He missed my mom's head but managed to shoot into one of her other brother's leg. She still says he was her favorite brother. Most of her other siblings were nasty towards her, and she has no contact with them now. But he was the sweetest towards her. It was the drugs that took her loving brother from her, and he then later overdosed while living alone.

The prompt makes me think of all the students in the US who avoided school shootings because they weren't at school for whatever reason; or people on their way to a mall, concert, movie, or generally anywhere and were stalled or diverted before a mass shooting. Reminds me of the Seth McFarlane story that he missed a flight due to a hangover that ended up being one of the four hijacked on Sept. 11, 2001.
My ex boyfriend left an iPhone that he stole from one of my neighbors on my coffee table. I called my neighbors emergency contact and I had two police officers in my apartment. They took the phone as evidence because he was stabbed in the altercation. That night my ex showed up at my door with a hammer in his pants and he was not happy with me. He sat on my bed and pulled the hammer out of his pants, he kept asking me what I did with the phone and I had a literal panic attack. He left my apartment in a huff and almost left the hammer but let himself back in two minutes later to get the hammer back. He is now facing life in prison when they find him.
My mother, under the belief that we were going to this awesome place for my 7th birthday, drove me halfway across the state. She then passed this farmland, pulled into it, and told me to get out. I thought nothing of it, and then she told me three words that haunt me to this day. "I love you." She then proceeded to turn me, her 7 year old son into swiss cheese, landing 7 bullets inside me, two landing and shattering my spine, rendering me paralyzed. The fear of dying and my screams for help managed to get the attention of the landowner, and brought me to a hospital. She has never been arrested for this. Got away scot-free. She's dead now. I wanted to be the one who did the deed, but she went from cancer. She earned it. I spent 23 years homeless and in a wheelchair, the latter is a lifelong matter. But my hatred for her has kept me alive for almost 30 years. I shouldve died. I know that. I owe the farmer and his family my life, and I haven't forgotten. I still to this day, do not trust women of any age, nor do I trust anyone who says those words.
I'm sorry for the horror you had to face, I cannot imagine the pain you've been through. I understand that you have kept going on by hating her, wanting to outlive her and wanting her to suffer too, it's fully understandable. But I hope that you have found good reasons to live beyond that, despite of your trauma, disabilities and difficulties through the way. And I wish you a long and fulfilling life. Take good care of yourself 😍😘
Nearly got killed walking home from school one day, made a dumb choice and walked the 3 miles from my school to my home, and a group of shady guys drove by, later heard guys matching the description were arrested for attempted murder. Kinda spooky
Um… ok them niggas were killers but why would have they killed you? We’re they some maniac shooting random people on the streets or sum, or just gang members?
When doing some target practice in Alaska with a couple friends we had some random person we couldn’t see try to shoot/snipe us from across a lake as we where shooting into a dirt hillside to ensure that no ricochets occur to ensure safety. It has been awhile since I had any hydration so I reached down to the ground to get my water bottle and less than 2-3 seconds after bending over we heard the double clack of a high powered rifle, felt the vibrations of the bullet flying between us/over my head, and the ricochet of it hitting a rock behind us. We ended up rushing to take cover and had to wait about 6 hours to ensure that we had enough darkness to be able to leave carefully because we kept trying to spot the shooter but had no luck doing so.
I remember being like. 12 or 13 or somewhere around that age, and my dad and I decided to visit my half sister in Ohio. We were in Cincinnati when I noticed some guy following us, but my naive self didn't think much of it. The next time I noticed the guy, he was walking directly behind my dad, and holding a gun to his back. He didn't say anything, just followed us with this gun held against my dad's back who surprisingly didn't notice. But I did. And not thinking, I asked the guy "Hey sir, why are you doing that to my dad?" And he looked at me for a few seconds, which made my dad notice the dude, and he began reaching for the knife in his pocket since he carries one everywhere. The guy continued to stare at us before he just walked away. My dad later on checked his pockets and nothing had been stolen by the guy. It was one of the weirdest things I've ever witnessed
my closes death experience ... I had many. ex military and such, but the one with pure dumb luck had to be the one time I didn't feel well at the day I was supposed to go back from a leave, while trying to convince my commander to give me another day at home (I had a fever, like 39 degrees.) I stayed at home, when we suddenly get an alarm, a stubbing terrorist attack happened in the same train stop I was supposed to go on, and the victim was a soldier -the terrorist tried to steal her gun to shoot at the crowed, but she fight him off laying on top of her gun before he was neutralized by the other soldiers that were at the train stop, he attacked from behind in the packed train stop then she died from blood lost few minutes later. truly a hero, she saved hundreds if not thousands of innocents , I took my happy ass back to the base because you need to do a head cunt in cases like that and had a sick days in unit, I never know that girl but I think about her from time to time. I'm not sure I could react the same way she did if someone would suddenly stab me in the throat and back 8 times, I needed to go to another train stop because that one was covered with blood for days, and a 3 weeks later when I got to go to the weekend home that train stop it still smelled like blood. that case made me not go to that train stop for a few years before a person decided to jump to the track at another train stop while I walked down the stairs and his severed head flow on a girl that set next to the stairs, at first no one was sure what it was until she realized what hit her and screamed her brains out when we all run off from the train stop, so I'm back at the old train stop. two weeks ago someone throw something that I'm not sure what on the electrified train track creating a fire ball but it's not as traumatic so I'm still going to that train stop. but in funnier stuff on train stopes, today someone released a bunch of chickens in the train stop and the workers and passengers worked together at catching them, in the end some old couple fed them with some bread before the animal control guy catch them with a net
I don't get how the family from the 8th story didn't take that as a sign to stay the freak home after that. Especially when something similar happened in the next trip.😮
When Karla homolka invited me back to her place for drinks, i declined. Another day when she approached for directions i backed up toward the closest house until she turned around and realized Paul was still at the car, she cussed him out and he laughed as she walked back to the car. A few days later Leslie went missing.
Idk when this happened, but under the YCJA (the currently effective youth criminal justice act) which governs the processing of young offenders 12-17 there is an exception that allows for older teenagers aged older than 14 to be processed as an adult, usually this will only be used for the ones that are 16/17. The offender in the story was 17 so it really could’ve been an adult sentence. If the crime is a serious indictable crime that is likely to shock the conscience of our society, the judge technically has the discretion to process the offender as an adult. It’s a quite rare choice for the judge to take, but it IS within their power to. Source: I’m Canadian. I majored in criminology in university, I’ve taken classes in youth offender justice.
Not exactly a real murder attempt, but my freshman year of high school a kid and a bunch of his buddies locked me in a closet as a 'silly joke' or something. Then this guy enters the closet, picks up a massive cinder block, and holds it above his head(like, with the intention to smash it into my skull 'as a joke'). I was terrified, and I ran away. (This happened because I wore a pride flag to school. I told administration, they did nothing.) edit: apparently people think this is fake or something, i have no reason to lie about this its just a stupid story yall gotta chill out edit 2: i swear to god stop arguing in the comments i dont care if you think i made this up go away and leave me alone smh
I don't believe half these stories but this still seems fake. Even if it is true other groups receive alot worse but are treated like they can't speak for themselves. Also at this point I am lgbtq and someday feel like doing the same thing. You have no idea how annoying that flag is after a while.
"Not exactly a real murder attempt" he tried to smash a massive cinder block into your head, it maybe wouldn't kill you, but that 'joke' has gone too far
@@cosygoose1813 dude... im a high schooler that almost got killed. for wearing a fucking rainbow. dont try to tell me that my story doesnt matter because everyone else has it soooo much worse than me. think before you speak
Not sure if this counts as, dumb luck, but many years ago i worked in Japan. I shared a small apartments with some roommates, just of one the main streets in roppongi. Not the best area. One night i was walking home pretty drunk.. and by myself. All very stupid looking back. As i was crossing the street away from the busy part i noticed a guy following me. But didn't really pay him much attention since i was almost home. When i passed a part where during the day they were building new apartments, basically an empty lot, he was behind me and put his arm around my neck, and he tried to pull me into the empty lot. I think because im quite tall he couldn't quite get his arm on just my neck. And i bit him. I bit him hard. Hard enough to draw blood and he let go. I ran across the street where there was a 7-11 and just stayed there shaking untill i figured he left. And went home. Shaking. I never reported it or anything. Dumb. But i was young dumb and drunk. I kind of thought it was my fault for walking by myself in that state. Older me knows it wasn't offcourse. But never forgot that.
As a kid, another kid had offered me candy at the time. He stated if was on the other side of a cement wall and I was stupid enough to believe him. shortly after, he had thrown what is known as a dirt clod (composed of dirt, stones and glass) at my temple. By sheer dumb luck, someone had said something to me causing me to turn my head to face them and it hit the back of my head instead.
I think the guy in story 10 wasn’t just trying to asphyxiate you, guy was going to dramatically alter the aspect ratio of that building. Vertical to widescreen sorta thing.
When I was 6, some older girls got some younger children to get me to come out to play. Long story short, they locked me in a chicken coop and poured turpentine down my throat and all over me. They tried to set fire to me with a match, but the matches were damp. I managed to squeeze out through the flap the chickens used to go outside but found myself in their outdoor enclosure with 6 foot wire fence. By this time the girls had found a lighter and were trying to get to me through the fence. Suddenly, in the distance, I heard my dad calling me and somehow (I have no idea ow) I sort of vaulted over the fence. My dad was blind, so couldn't see the state I was in as I was puking from th turpentine and he sure could smell it.
I'm sure it's okay for you to read the no dumb robots story because it's extremely low effort to have a text to speech read out other people's stories and post it. At least if you're the one reading them out loud and giving commentary it feels like real content
This isn’t even close to what some of these people went through, but the closest I’ve been to the feeling of death hanging over me is during a school shooting. It was just a regular day during class, having a grammar quiz (incidentally I was doing terribly), when suddenly we all hear very loud bangs coming from the adjacent classroom. It took until the third bang sound for us to realize what was happening and all go into panic mode at once. Some girls started screaming, some boys jumped up or fell to the ground, our teacher even started screaming and crying. We eventually all huddled into our desks and waited for the worse, when after 9 shots the whole thing stopped. The teachers from other classrooms were running out into the hall, and suddenly the screaming and crying of the students from our adjacent class filled the whole school. They told us all to stay put for like 30 minutes before letting us out of class and calling all of our parents to come pick us up. Turns out a kid from the other class had brought a Glock with him, and he shot the teacher 8 times, after the he knew the teacher was done for he put the gun to his own head too. To this day there is much speculation as to why he did it, but no one really knows for sure, not even the kid’s best friends knew. The only two people who knew why it happened are gone.
Well, a lot of people do a lot of things that are supposedly for their religion… a lot of those people are just evil people, or a bit too… devoted. Story 6 is also incredibly messed up! Attempted murder for 200$ and all he got was community service? Thats just so wrong.
Story number 6 I hope the person who stabbed him got in trouble again as an adult, and had to serve time in prison extra time too because of his previous offenses. That’s the only thing I can hope for in the situation if I say what I really want to say TH-cam will remove my comment so………
The guy that got stabbed in the back for his watch, the ER was doing it (putting the drain in the lung) under a local because they had to get to it immediately and it takes time to get an Anesthetist and the stuff set up, plus with the blood loss complicating it further. It was a time issue pure and simple.
Okay, for the story at around 3:00 with the pedo van. Let's make something crystal clear. Explain. Why. Things. Are. Bad. To. Your. Children. If your child seems confused, it's for a reason. You don't need to tell them everything. You don't need to be graphic. All you need to do is explain that there are bad people who will hurt them in this world. Ask a parent before talking to anyone who isn't an immediate family member or a close friend. Edit: I'm referring to when he said, "I didn't realize until many years later what was actually going on."
I don't know if you could consider it a murder attempt but, had an experience of riding my bike out at 2am, I was in the most impoverished area of the city as I was planning to cycle until sunrise, two guys pull over and ask if I wanted to hop in their car and offered weed, I only spoke with the passenger, didn't see the driver's face but I declined their and went on with my cycle, the fact that I don't smoke may have just saved me because after telling a friend about it, I could have been robbed, abducted, or worse killed. I still go out at night since the area I live in is quiet at night and I exploit the fact I am the only sane person at that hour, being out at night so much has impacted my vision incredibly since I grew up sneaking out, being able to see much further and night paired with stamina and speed allows me to avoid situations like these. I have had another encounter which I don't think was a murder attempt but left me awake for days was when I was again cycling in the same area but pulled into a park to drink an rest, pitch black and then all of a sudden, the bushes literally right next me rustled so much, whatever was in there was much bigger than a fox, but this area was urban and densely populated, I froze for a second, until the rustling came closer and I bolted, and when I mean bolted, I left a torch on the bench I was sitting, and I had also accidentally set of the emergency SOS signal on my phone, I had to explain what had happened and I got off lightly but never had I had so much adrenaline. Whoever or whatever was in the bushes was so close and big, I still feel sick about it since I didn't ev en have time to see it. Not seeing but hearing something is horrifying, worse when its next to you.
As a kid an older much more powerful kid tried to beat me up every chance he got, whilst doing so he was always unemotional, as if he was just trying to exterminate some bug, vermin, pest, and he had this terrifying bone chilling stare like that of some serial killers from the news, I've never forgotten that stare, one day during swimming class he started to violently try to drown me, at the last moment in desperation I played dead, then he stopped and let go, giving me a chance to escape, of course nobody saw anything but me coughing up pool water after crawling out of the pool, even teachers just looked at me like what is her problem is she stupid, also nobody ever believed me so I kept quiet about it, I have never forgotten this event, I understand now too why as a kid I developed a fear of water, I have gotten over that fear of water, but still it has affected me. I was lucky to escape alive because he had no idea how long it took to truly indefinitely drown someone, so my playing dead underwater fooled him, I let out a slightly larger breath so more bubbles came up and then held what remained of my breatch and stopped moving pretending to have drowned, which miraculously worked, I got up for breath barely in time inhaling some water, I have never felt terror like that before or since.
A guy was chasing me outside a church with a knife with a huge grin on his face so I entered the church and whenever he's going to exit at the right side of the church I'll go for the entrance of the church at the left side and whenever he's going to entrance I'll go to the exit.. We went like that for awhile till he got tired and I got away with no scratch

2 or 3 years in the past. A crazy man in Quebec decide to come down to the street where the ferry is and kill people with his katana. And only 1 hour earlier, i was in the spot going to take the ferry. 1 hour later and I could have been a victim or witness it.
Me and my mom had just watched a movie. The theater we like was right next to the mall. As we walked to the car we were discussing grabbing lunch at the food court and doing some shopping. We decided we weren’t in the mood for shopping and grabbed some food on the way home. A few days later while at work I hear about a shooting that happened at that mall. I look up an article and the shooting was in the food court at a time that would have pretty much been exactly how long it would have taken us to walk over there, wait for food, and sit down. The majority of people who were dead/injured (I can’t remember) were sitting in the area we usually like to sit in as well. It was a targeted shooting because some gang member was sitting at those tables and a rival gang saw them or something.
I walked into my grandma's house at 5 am, turned around after closing the door to find my BIL holding his service weapon on me, his dog in attack mode. He was completely asleep. Took me 5 minutes to wake him up while begging him to not shoot. He woke up, took his finger off the trigger and put the safety back on, yelled at me for being stupid. I moved in with my boyfriend hours later. Threw everything into a bag and was gone. Still have cptsd because of him. My sister finally divorced him and got full custody of both kids.
I have this issue and it haunts me the dude did murder our child and I was stupid woman like I made the right move at first told him to leave me alone and didn't answer the door but I eventually did. I will skip through the whole nightmare of the relationship and tell you the minutes that it came down to. I was pregnant and been strangled and beaten my body was subdued but a voice rang out in my head telling me to just be still. I asked if I could get on the bed and lay down he said okay. 40 minutes later I ask if I can go pee he said okay but looked in the mirror and this divine voice inside my head tells me to run out. This experience lead to me becoming a drunk so I meet more people who have tried to kill me this happened 2 more times this has now become a pattern. I remain calm and we have a conversation but I survive because they think I'm stupid. They're like you come off crazy stupid and I feel sorry for you but I do know what I'm doing. I wear a ring on my finger from saving mans's life because I saved a man's life by touching the would be killer's arm and he was baffled at why I would be "stupid" enough to do this but this act caught him off guard and I got inside his head.
I had left my car unlocked while visiting a friend and he had slipped into the back seat and waited for me to come out. While I was driving, he popped up and strangled me from behind. My legs reflexively kicked downward, causing my foot to stomp on the brake, instantly stalling out the stick-shift car and causing us both to lurch forward. His grip broken, I slid down in my seat and then got away. We were both lucky, actually, because had the car not stalled we would have driven right into an intersection, given the timing of his murder attempt.
My cousin used to live in Memphis TN. She was driving with a friend, stopped at a red light. This guy ran over and put a gun to her head and told her to get out. She was in shock and hesitated. He pulled the trigger and the gun misfired - or blank bullet. I don’t know if the light changed but she sped away as soon as the gun misfired. Fucking scary shit
My sister tried to have me jumped and robbed but one of the dudes she sent to Rob me was an old elementary school kid I used to bring snacks for all the time at lunch. He remembered me and admitted he always had a crush on me😅
i slightly wonder what that one dad did to go into prison because to the point where he tells a guard to look at his kid because his head is swollen tells me that he cares enough to know his kids ok (usally meaning he didnt get put into care for child abuse)
I don’t really remember the incident too well… I have trauma related amnesia for most of my life… but one day I was in the kitchen… i think I was 9 or 10 at the time… and I said something to my brother… I can’t remember what I said but he… punched me, I think… and he had me pinned against the kitchen door… I don’t remember what happened… but years later… another one of my brothers… said my brother had a knife in his hand when he attacked me… I don’t remember what happened… I honestly don’t… but… my own brother almost murdered me. I still begin shaking thinking how my life could have ended
well no shit, but think about the moment youre literally being chased by an entire group with knives, and youre so fucking panicked that you can only do fight or flight your friends would be the death of you, and im pretty sure a lot of people would want to live
Not me, but a friend who allowed me to share: He got attacked by 3 Hooligans that wanted to rob him, but he didn't have his wallet or anything valuable. So they got pissed and the "leader" wanted to stab him, just then a senior citizen who mixed up gas & brake pedal slammed into the group. The Hooligans got heavy injuries and my friend only some scratches and some bruises because he saw the car coming from behind them. According to him he yelled the famous "look behind you" line but they thought it's a trick. Clicee I know but due to a newspaper article at least the incident is proven.
My story is that an ex decided that he did not want to continue the relationship because he was cheating, and got somebody else pregnant. So he set his handgun that he had for work up on his bed, between two pillows and stuck a knife in the trigger well. The gun had an easy tracker so it could go off at a drop of a hat. You kept on trying to pull me to the foot of the bed while we were arguing and I just resisted. So since I was also insecurity like him, I was getting my gear off and I talked my bullet proof vest on to the bed and it knocked the gun over, and it went off. Now the bullet is tactical ammo, and that kind of ammo scatters. When the bullet came out of the muzzle, it hit the bottom part of my bulletproof vest and bent the bullet. It then skipped off the mattress, hit the seam of the mattress and went through my upper thigh at a diagonal angle. It barely missed the main artery in my leg, and barely missed the bone . Because the bullet got bent it did not open up and Scatter like it was designed to do, so went through my leg like a full metal jacket. I survived by God's grace , because I should not be here today to even be able to talk about this. I did leave him eventually eventually, but it took time because he also was taking all of my money so I couldn't just leave I have nowhere to go and I had no money to get my own place. It took me 8 months after that incident to finally be able to get out of there. And in the meantime he tried to convince somebody else to kill me instead. And no he never faced repercussions for what he did. There will be no justice for me.
About a decade ago, my gay friend Eric in Ft Lauderdale was in his meth phase and had a guy he met on Craigslist come over for some poor mannered frivolity. The guy brought some kind of “case” with him which would have been a dealbreaker for me at the door. Well, Eric, let him in. he said there was some awkward, small talk in a dark room, a lot of men in that life just get right to business. Well, the guy started opening his case, but then heard a noise in the apartment. The guy asked what that noise was, Eric told him it was his roommate, which it was. The guy closed his briefcase, and said “he just saved your life.” Got up and left. Eric went to rehab the next day.
When I lived in Baltimore city as a teenager, young and dumb. I think I was 18 or so, I was walking down a road at night I should have never been on (29th street near Greenmount ave) someone ran up behind me with a gun and said kick it out. I had 20 dollars on me, I gave him the 20 and he told me to give him my phone, I didn't want to so I gave him my g shock watch. He cocked the gun and said do you wanna die? Gimme the phone...so I did. The whole time his friend was like 10 ft away watching. After I gave him my phone the guy watching said "shoot him" . Thank God he did not, he said get the fuck out of here now. Which I did. Scary shit.
Not sure if this counts as a "murder attempt" because it was initially a theft but I had an incident where I found myself staring down the blade of a machete held by a local meth head who'd found his way into my garage and was in the process of trying to strip my car. Thankfully this story has a happy ending as it resulted in said meth head taking 2 shots and running off into the night. I remember sitting and waiting for around half an hour before calling it in to the police, officially my story was that I was in shock and calming myself down before I made the call but in reality it was to give that guy some time to bleed out before the cops went looking because I sure as hell didn't want the guy to survive and to get what he deserved. In typical fashion as well I never received any follow up from the cops so I have no idea if they got him or not. I did have to go down to the station and give statements and turn over the gun I used (never got that back but hey, it was only an old ruger)
My trafficker tried to rip my throat out with his teeth and stab me in my neck with a pen. The other girl he trafficked got in between us and she was his newest obsession while he was done wih me but he figured he could use me to control her so he let me live.

Possibly yes, I'd imagine his chances wouldn't be great if they had to put him under when he has lost copious amounts of blood.

"did you just refer to a baby as an it??!?!" people is coming
Crying could kill it but it's rare still though no one should shake there children or hurt them at all.
Genuinely. And props to the father for being able to recognize the problem and making sure his child got help.
I once knew a young boy who was blind because of damage from being shaken by his mother, luckily that was the only permanent damage she did
By luck, I wasn't in the attempted terrorist bombing of the "underwear bomber" in the plane Northwest airline 253 on 25th December 2009 from the Netherlands to Detroit.
I stick my finger in my mouth to lick off some peanut butter from before I had to handle the froggo... lets just say I looked back at my hand, the at the handler who was taking me to the sink, and then back at my hand, and then saying, "Call the EMT, I just licked my hand by accident."
I still washed my hands and felt completely fine while I was escorted to the hospital.

Holy shit, that's gotta be the luckiest thing to possibly happen in such an unfortunate situation.
Not to sound insensitive/rude but omfg that sounds like a scene they'd put in a deadpool movie
It was 2 years ago, there was a couple guys who tried to harass me and my friend
They did this for a couple days straight, trying to convince one another that I was their girlfriend, them trying to take a drink from my sprite bottle, and them threatening to kill me using a karambit.
I escaped by telling them to do it, and kill me
They responded with calling me emo and running away
I was 13
I survived an unalive attempt when I was 14. A woman I knew (the mother of my then best friend) tried to off me with her vehicle because I had a crush on her daughter who was younger than us. It missed me by about an inch. A bit of an overreaction if you ask me.

2:56 Chances are high that wasn't going to end in mere murder.
My mother, under the belief that we were going to this awesome place for my 7th birthday, drove me halfway across the state.
She then passed this farmland, pulled into it, and told me to get out. I thought nothing of it, and then she told me three words that haunt me to this day.
"I love you."
She then proceeded to turn me, her 7 year old son into swiss cheese, landing 7 bullets inside me, two landing and shattering my spine, rendering me paralyzed.

We ended up rushing to take cover and had to wait about 6 hours to ensure that we had enough darkness to be able to leave carefully because we kept trying to spot the shooter but had no luck doing so.
holy shit. good response on you guys.
I really appreciate you not being a robot

my closes death experience ... I had many. ex military and such, but the one with pure dumb luck had to be the one time I didn't feel well at the day I was supposed to go back from a leave, while trying to convince my commander to give me another day at home (I had a fever, like 39 degrees.) I stayed at home, when we suddenly get an alarm, a stubbing terrorist attack happened in the same train stop I was supposed to go on, and the victim was a soldier -the terrorist tried to steal her gun to shoot at the crowed, but she fight him off laying on top of her gun before he was neutralized by the other soldiers that were at the train stop, he attacked from behind in the packed train stop then she died from blood lost few minutes later. truly a hero, she saved hundreds if not thousands of innocents , I took my happy ass back to the base because you need to do a head cunt in cases like that and had a sick days in unit, I never know that girl but I think about her from time to time.
Especially when something similar happened in the next trip.😮
and the next trip. And the next. And the next. And... and... 🤔🤔🤔
When Karla homolka invited me back to her place for drinks, i declined. A few days later Leslie went missing.
Glad to hear you could avoid these horrible people.

I told administration, they did nothing.)

What the fuck is/wad wrong with these girls. Scary that people like that are out there. I'm so glad you got away.

Do you speak Portuguese? Cause of the language of the game.
I insisted to my mother that we should go rest in our hotel instead of watching the fireworks on the same road in Nice on July 14.

Man. This guy really escaped death multiple times. Crazy

11:00 that’s what I’m thinking! Go to somewhere calm for vacation like Poland or Italy.
I got robbed in Italy

The safari trip- maybe go to other countries? I’ve been to plenty where this kind of thing doesn’t happen.
i slightly wonder what that one dad did to go into prison because to the point where he tells a guard to look at his kid because his head is swollen tells me that he cares enough to know his kids ok (usally meaning he didnt get put into care for child abuse)

The Hooligans got heavy injuries and my friend only some scratches and some bruises because he saw the car coming from behind them. According to him he yelled the famous "look behind you" line but they thought it's a trick. Clicee I know but due to a newspaper article at least the incident is proven.
lmao
That one guy really needs to stop going on family vacations!!
7:45 . WHAT THE HELL!? THAT MAN GOT NO JAIL TIME FOR ATTEMPTED MURDER!?
Like as far as i can find (vague understanding so take it with a grain of salt)
12 or under you cannot be criminally liable
12-13 No jail time
14-17 reduced sentencing/earlier parol when put with a supervising adult
18+ tried as adult
(might have been a tier 18-21 which gets a lesser punishment than an adult but worse than 14-17, but again only quickly skimmed it)
a case of judge is mentally challenged imo
