Father G back in 1987 baptized my sister, cousin and married my parents in the same mass and all he wanted as a payment was for my parents to feed the homeless. He's a living legend.

Greg Boyle inspired me to work with youth in our city. Its been almost 20 years now and we have five sites that reach low-income, at-risk youth with the gospel. Every week is a struggle and weve been through so much. But I dont give up, because I know how much God loves our kids, and Ive seen the Lord transform so many lives. Ill never forget what Greg said once in an interview, "They cant take advantage of me, because I give my advantage away." That moved me and I still remember it when my heart grows cold and I become weary. Theres always room for one more dollar, meal, and act of love. I would love to hear about G-Dog's faith in Christ. Ive never heard him talk about it.

It was heart braking watching my mother begging on her knees to the priest and they turned her away. I wish we could see organization in my area that are whiling to help regardless. thank you for your services.

If anyone ever heard Father Boyle say mass in Juvenile Hall back some 20 years ago it was such an amazing mass. He didn’t sound like a priest, he said his homilies as if he were an uncle to these young men. He sounded gangster like at times but made his homilies in order to reach these young men. The young men incarcerated were very respectful and listened to every word he said.

Gotta say there's something incredibly imposing about Father Greg.
The deliberate, calm way he speaks, the look in his eyes - the look of a man who kinda sees not only through you, but through life itself - yet without judgement, with calm and compassion.
I can see why these hard men revere him so much, respect him that much (outside of the very fact that he basically saved their lives, that is).
Bless you, Father Greg. To filter so much pain through you and transform it into love and hope and new chances in life for so, so many.
    Incredible. Honestly incredible.

Man back in 2016 when I paroled I went to the thug mansion on top of vine in Hollywood. I got connected with the zavala law group and met one of the founders of homeboys industry. I'm a former lifer and they were blown away by my story and wanted me to go to homeboy industry to see if acting and participating in what they have to offer. I was more focused on being a paralegal and helping righteous lifers get back to society. Things went bad in the thug mansion being that I'm from up north so I was placed by parole in another facility up north. I had a shot and it was basically something I didn't think was a real position. I never knew that's where x felon actors were bein discovered. I had soo much opportunity but I chose to come closer to home because of my family bein up north. I met soo many celebrities while I was in Hollywood and they treated me like I was one of them. I was invited to red carpet events private parties and it was soo unreal from getting out of prison and being housed on upper level yards. I was having anxiety at times because it was moving soo fast and not being use to being in crowds and all the noise. Sometimes I wonder how my career would have evolved. I probably could have become a star. Or a successful paralegal. Good for you to become the actor you became.
