They really should've used a pre-1988 Ford LTD Crown Victoria. The body resembled the '74 Dodge Monaco in length and shape. Plus the K-9 unit was not something you would encounter unless drugs were in question.
I think John Landis had it end that way to set it up for a possible sequel to BB2000. Landis thought he could continue the story I guess. Here we are 22 years later and there still has not been a 3rd Blues Brothers film. I doubt we will ever see another one.
I actually thought it was ok. Had some funny moments, but it is definitely not like the original. Plus unfortunately we're not going to get a Blues Brothers 3 because of this.
That Kid's played by J. Evan Bonifant. He also played in one of the "Three Ninjas Kids" Movies. Pitty that and Blues Brothers where the only two Movies he's played in.

I guess Elwood learned his lesson by stopping at a red light for once which started the whole chaos in the first one.😂
Elwood wants to be a Dad for Buster
After Buster meets his Father
The light was yellow, sir..
he stopped at the red light because he wasn't on a mission from god :D
The light was yellow tho Elwood was right
This could have been done better but this was actually a good moment in this movie
Father & Son bonding

The pre-1988 Crown Victoria was the same length as the 1988-1991 ones. They were both like compact cars compared to the 74 Monaco.
They could have used the LTD Police Package. I think 1985 was when the LTD Crown Victoria came about.
Its very similar but it obviously different just if you look at the tail lights for example
@@jonfromstearns actually they should of used a fifth gen dodge Monaco from the early 90’s

What do you mean? He saved an orphanage in the first one.
Dr. Evil cared for Scott, lol!

This movie was a joke and a lot lost respect for Dan after this. One of the worst sequels of all time.

Notice the stopping for the red traffic light? Blues Brothers 1 reference.
As well as tossing the lighter out the window.

So were those pursuits and crashes plus the havoc around Chicago, which Elwood caused all of.
This movie would've been better if we found out what happened to Elwood in the end. Was he found guilty or not guilty of kidnapping Buster?
