Tuscany is a region in Central Italy which is famous for its rolling hills and medieval towns. Tuscany and its famous villages like Montepulciano, San Quirico d’Orcia, Bagno Vignoni and Pienza have been the backdrop of famous movies like The Gladiator. In real life Tuscany is as beautiful as in the movies! In this episode I visit the Val d’Orcia region in Southern Tuscany, famous for its iconic cypress trees and wine producing towns.

The Tuscany region in Central Italy is like something straight out of a dream, you have to see it to believe its beauty! So many famous movies have been shot in this region with the Tuscan landscape as a backdrop, like the Gladiator. Hopefully I captured its breathtakingly stunning landscapes and medieval hilltop towns in all its glory!

Amazing video! Me and my partner were there a couple of years ago. Rented a car and drove around (and got lost!) the region. We found so many hidden gems (churches, abbeys, restaurants, vantage points) and took couple of winery tours. Tuscany was more beautiful than we ever imagined!

Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is a wine that I had seen a few years back on the shelf. I truly picked it up because the name sounds sexy. After, a few purchases. I decided to look up the wine. In which I had learned that Abruzzo is a place. So when, I watched this video to find out that Montepulciano is a place. It is a fun fact to me. 😎😇🍷

After seeing much of Italy over the summer I’m surprised to say I think France so much better overall. Roman monuments stand apart but the overall vibe wasn’t there. Maybe I need to spend more time in Tuscany.
