i just made my first flower crown using this video and it turned out amazing. i used fake flowers and greenery but everything wasas pretty much the same as you showed. thank you for the great video.
I love that your technique can be used with silks too I work with cosplayers and do alot of headgear always looking for new things to make the head wreaths are my newest adventure
This was amazing and so helpful!!! I’m making a faux flower crown, and all of your design instruction can be applied to faux florals as well. Thank you so much!!
Find a local flower farm near you! I am an urban flower farmer and there are many of us out there. They will most likely be willing to sell you flowers for a flower crown.
The final result of the flower crown is so beautiful! Im sorry but I have a question, is there anyway we can make this flower crown using faux flowers/fake flowers?
@@BloomCultureFlowers Oh thank you so much for the answer, now I can start working on the flower crown. Also thank you for making this video and spending your time on it, it helps me very much.
I make these no more than a day ahead as flowers start to wilt when disconnected to a water source. I usually do it the afternoon/evening before and place in fridge or on the morning of the event.
@@BloomCultureFlowers Thank you so much! That’s exactly what I did (night before) for my daughter’s boho baby shower and she LOVED it and all her friends couldn’t believe they were fresh flowers 😊
Well there are pros and cons to both. As a florist I use floral glue because it’s better for the floral and (as many florists use coolers) it doesn’t become brittle at lower temps. Hot glue can sear stems and can shock them from the heat and cause them to wilt faster. So if you do go the glue gun route, maybe use a low temp one. There aren’t many cons to the floral glue except that it can seem a bit runny at first. It is similar to rubber cement in that it takes time to set up and bonds to itself. You probably won’t have any other use for it outside of floral use. It won’t be the end of the world to use hot glue, it can just wilt the flower faster, which when they are already going to be out of water and cut off from hydration can happen quickly. I always avoid heat and flowers. They never seem to play well!
I am absolutely obsessed with flower crowns

You’re so talented! This flower crown looks absolutely stunning! 😍😍😍
Beautiful ❤
It’s absolutely beautiful how would you make the crown adjustable? I see some use ribbon... do you recommend that!
Used ribbon would work well, but maybe if the actual crown is bendable, you could make an adjustable knot! (Half hitch)

Glad you enjoyed it!
Do you use glue gun? This will be my first attempt. the place where I purchased my flowers suggested glue gun over flower glue. Which is best and why?

How to make adjustable head band?
How might you add wheat to a crown like this - standing up rather than laying flat? And what about adding ribbons to the back?
I’m not sure I understand. Since it’s wheat and doesn’t wilt you could use a glue gun. For ribbons you can just tie ribbons on as you see fit.
How to arrange flowers plz suggest me link for buy
Where do you buy the wired rustic twine at to form the base of the crowns?
i get it from wholesale but you should be able to get it off amazon or from any local craft store!
did you use real flowers as well as wax flowers?
Yep! All fresh
What kind of glue was use?
