I could not count how many flower crown tutorials I have watch, and I can asure this one is the most helpful; and also the best produce. Clear and full of important tips (like how to store it after being done, or how to wire more than one kind of flower). Thank you so much!
I’ve watched several of your tutorials and I love your teaching style. You cover all the basics and explain your mechanics well without all the cutesy nonsense I see in other TH-cams. I taught floral design for 10 years at Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens in Pittsburgh, and I’ve been been a florist for many many years.
Thanks for being so thorough - so many videos just show how to make -- you go beyond and explain caring for the flower itself and the do's and don'ts of preserving. Wonderful !
This is such a brilliant, clear video, so informative and well presented. The headpiece is beautiful and tasteful. Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful video.
Oh my god wow this was so helpful and I'm relieved to have found such a thorough tutorial. Amazing coincidence but I went to the florist today and got the exact same flowers minus the coffee berry and with the addition of eucalyptus. I was wondering how I was going to get the spray roses to face the right way but now I know!!
This is so great! Thanks for making this video! I was looking into making a hairpiece of flowers of this EXACT combination of flowers. It's like you can read my mind!
OMG!!! Fellow floral designer here and I agree with you! I hate babies breath!! I don't even carry it in the shop unless specifically ordered...otherwise I'm a wax flower girl here all the way!!!!! 💐💐
Curious if you've ever tried making a comb or clip style of hair accessory for weddings with a flower or cluster for one side of the hairdo. Might try making a faux flower one to match my bouquet (or see if a florist can make a real one) once we figure out what flowers the florists near the ceremony site can acquire.
Sarah Crittenden floral designer here... I've done plenty. You could do basically like a boutineer and Bobby pin into place or I've also bought hair combs and hot glued flowers and greenery to them...
Thi Tu floral designer here... When she got to the half way covered point... Stop....and use the hair to cover plain wire so it looks like a half crown or cut it there and put ribbons on each end and tie together at the back of head. Also, you can go out and buy a plain plastic head band on hot glue flowers and greenery to that. Unfortunately the stretchy kind won't work though... Once stretched to put on head the flowers go haywire...lol

Joss
This is so clear and helpful! Love it!
What's the spray you mentioned to keep the crown fresh? I fail to hear it clear. Thanks!
It's called 'Crowning Glory'. There's another brand called 'Finishing Touch' that essentially does the same thing.
Can you do one with foam flowers
Very detailed
Hi I was wondering if you could show us how to do a half floral crown. I have been asked to create one for a wedding.

Hey do you need to spray water on the crown if you make it 2 days before the wedding?
if you store it in your fridge and spray 2x a day they should be fine :)
Don't spray water on any flower heads/ petals, it will make them rot quicker.
can u pleaaase do a tutorial of how to decorate an wedding arch with like moss rusty way! i cant find any videos of how to decorate a wedding arch.
Thank you!!!!
that is soo creative.. may be i can use it for my next vdo!!
btw.. i do diys too ☺
What was the name of the music in the beginning? Dying to know!
It's 'Sleep Away' by Bob Acri. It reminded me of 'A Charlie Brown Christmas', ha ha. Love a melancholy tune.
And, you attach the crown to you head with?????
Have you done baby breath crown for vase or birdcage?
Pre-cutting your tape might be a good idea. It might be easier to work with smaller pieces...
Definitely should pre cut a bunch of small pieces of tape so it's easier to grab
Looks great but it would go so much faster and probably be more secure if you didn't rip the tape for each stem.
All that explaining and work and you basically end up with an unsightly and unfinished wire in the back of your head!?... UGH!!😣😣😣
