The goal of a cranial remodeling orthosis or helmet is to relieve pressure on the flat spots of the skull so that it can continue to grow into that space. BUT the cranial helmet doesn't address the underlying cause of that flat spot, which might be torticollis or body tension. This is where PT comes in!
