Not really. While the show isn’t good, Theory jumps to conclusions about what certain things mean. Like the vergence was always different with the twins than it was with Anakin yet he complained.
Wait so she doesn't know how they were created them. But she created them. Yep my brain cells are dead. Anyone else wanna get at it with this poor script? 😂
@@timothyarvanitis9374 As Kamala Harris would say: They were created for this moment so they could exist at this point of time so that in the present they could be presented in this moment, to exist and be here at this point in time.
The thing I find fascinating is that, when George Lucas made his films, you understood what was happening on-screen. When you watched the behind-the-scenes stuff for the films and any of the interviews with George explaining key points in the films, and he pointed out things you never noticed before, when you went back to rewatch the films, you started to see these other things you may not have noticed even when seeing the film a hundred times before. With the current Star Wars stuff coming out, when you watch something, it doesn't always make sense. When you go to watch an interview with the creator explaining key points in the story they worked on, when you go back to rewatch that particular production, you still can't find any of the stuff they talked about in the interviews, because it was never there to begin with! And to top it all off, it STILL doesn't make any sense lol. You can't just make shit up in interviews and say that's what happened... And I'm a comic book reader who loves a good retcon, especially when it's done well and fits with the story. This is not that.
Jedi Trinity: You just activated my trap card! Witches: GAH!!! _animu reaction cuts._ Witches: I...Is that... A blue eyes white wimmen card?! Jedi Trinity: 😏 _cool battle music plays._
Was just thinking exactly that. The whole idea that they were created was never alluded to, it was literally spelt out in black and white. The level of incompetence in this show is unparalleled
Nah, it's totally consistent! Since she's a rabid Feminist/Cultural Marxist, her beliefs put feelings as the sole arbiter of reality. So she can 'feel' one thing one day and 'feel' something different the next. See? In her mind, it all fits!
It's crazy hearing Leslie straight-up retcon the fact that the girls were created, trying to turn it ambiguous when we literally hear them say in Episode 3 "I created them", and then hearing all the Acolyte defenders pretend as though this is a great, well thought-out, show. Guys. Even the showrunner herself has no clue what's going on. Stop it. (Though, by now, the number of Acolyte defenders is thankfully dwindling, but still.)
@@TheGreatPewpyOne About Leslie straight-up retconning something. You write a story, then you get a few view reviews, and see that the story is crap. So you have to rewrite it. It happens very often in fanfic circles.
What really upsets me is that there are so many Star Wars hardcore fans out there that say “I’m done with Star Wars” like just like that? Don’t let Disney let you get uninterested in the entire franchise! For me I just focus on what I like. And in the end of the day most of us are George Lucas Star Wars fans. And we have 1-6 and Star Wars Legends
I agree! Disney has ruined Star Wars, but that doesn’t mean I won’t keep enjoying the good Star Wars we already have. And I’m still sticking around to see how Disney handles it anyway, it’s interesting to see! Here through the good and the bad, because I love Star Wars!
Their leader literally said she "created" them all the way back in the 3rd episode. Not insinuated. Not suggested. She said it, with no room for ambiguity. This show runner is just unbelievable.
@genetenz what are you talking about? The prequels work on their own. Yes Clone Wars fills in the gap but it isn't necessary to explain anything in the prequels. You don't need to know how Palpatine and Dooku prepared for order 66 or the gain in administrative power to enjoy the story in episode 3. However it improves the experience as it gives light to side characters, and gives more background to Anakins disillusionment in the jedi. So to sum it up: it's not necessary but it's nice to have and expands the worldbuilding. In the Acolyte nothing makes sense even with her interviews. Still the interviews are needed anyway and a writer who is familiar with her own work might have been able to explain SOME of her plotholes.
*_“Oh, I can answer that one!”_* Quite a telling way to open an answer. Very obvious that every other question she's being asked, she's thinking, *_“I have no clue how to answer this, I'll just say it's intentionally ambiguous again, and that we looked at both sides.”_*
My wife and I really tried to give the show a chance. We sat down and tried to be unbiased. There were aspects of the show that I thought were good, some moments that were accurate and entertaining. However on the other hand there were far too many, inaccuracy’s, dull moments and moments where my wife and I literally just paused the movie and sat there stunned. It has potential but the problem is that the writers were lazy and Lesly had an excellent idea for a show but it just doesn’t fit in the Star Wars universe. Love this channel love what your doing boss, you keep Star Wars interesting which even a multimillion dollar company couldn’t do. Keep up the good work boss
At this point, let her make a season 2 and 3, and a 250 million budget per Season while we're at it, then let nature take its course. Franchise Darwinism will take care of the rest, apathy is death and it will course correct eventually when the shareholders bring it up in the Quarterly earnings call.
Her needing to come up with such a confusing and muddled explanation for the events of the entire show means there's 0,00% chance this has been a dream project of hers for years as a Star Wars fan.
Oh, no. Surely it was her dream to distort, destroy and demolish (even further) what used to be a great sci-fi/fantasy universe. Her dream was to inject perversion, nonsensical bullshit, canon-destroying trash into it, and to center a Star Wars spin-off series on... Lesbians with the power to create life and outmatch previous characters that just happened to be male. Makes perfect sense as long as you view it from her twisted perspective that is. Creating slime and calling it your dream doesn't have to be a lie, she just lives on a totally different planet than those who love Star Wars for what it used to be.
If you look at her Mary Sue interview the Lego Y-Wing on the shelf behind her has its wings on BACKWARDS. Whether her assistants assembled it hastily, she threw away the box (with a huge photo of the Y-Wing on the cover), or she doesn't know how to follow a simple manual (ages 6+ and up) - all don't bode well for her...
Just started the video, but before I watch it, I just want to say, you've kept me interested in Star Wars when Disney has done everything they can to keep me uninterested in it. It's honestly a shame, Star Wars was my first fandom as a youngling. I still have amazing memories of being excited for Episode I to release. Loved playing Jedi Power Battles/Pod Racing video games with my brother and best friend! Lightsaber battles in the backyard. I just sense most people in Lucasfilm just "don't get it."
Well clearly your healthy relationship with your brother is a product of the patriarchy and a micro aggression against Leslye who has a poor relationship with her sister, but she totally fixed it now, thanks to The Acolyte. 👍👍 She’s the victim here you bully! 😉
This is so terrible. It wasn't "selfish" at all to free Kelnacca's mind, regardless of her not knowing what it would happen. What an entitled understanding of morality. To Headland, morality isn't about logic & reason, but whatever she wants to be right or wrong at the time. And the worse is that she has the audacity to justify her nonsensal stances with nonsensical reasons she expects others to buy as if they were the most natural thing in the world. The flashback ep wasn't a memory by someone with parts of it being able to be misremembered, it was always what really happened. Imagine now in stories any flashback plot that seems to portrayed as what really happened in the past could be interpreted as the memories of a character, open to certain parts being wrong, with nothing else needing to imply this. She's such a terrible writer.
Exactly! If the flashback episode was supposed to be a memory, how could it include anything the Jedi did away from Twin (Osha or Mae, I don't know which it was)? If she wasn't present to remember or misremember that part, she couldn't have a flashback of it. It's so stupid.
Leslie's writing is similar to getting a therapy session from someone who attended psych 101. She knows some terms but doesn't really understand bigger connections & understanding.
You know what Gary Kurtz, Lawrence Kasdan, and Irvin Kershner never had to do after The Empire Strikes Back came out? They didn’t have to go on a lightning press tour to explain what in the holy hell happened in the film and why the audience is supposed to like it. It spoke for itself. The play’s the thing, Leslye. The play’s the thing.
@@festo512the cave, yes. The wampa, no. But, the cave is an important mystery, an essential unanswered question to be answered later. It was important that we not know what it meant yet because Luke didnt know what it meant yet. Unlike Headlumps mess where everything is vague or contradictory. As for wampa, Luke ran because he was still in dire danger even after he cut off its arm.
With how much I enjoyed Rogue One and Andor, I still have some hope that maybe some good Star Wars product might come out once in a while, even if it's just 10% of it all
I thought Lucas had a contract with Disney that they couldn't touch the integrity of the first 6 movies... The Acolyte is literally violating that contract. George needs to freakin sue!
The way she tries to paint Indara as bad because she wanted to save the Wookie is some of the weirdest cope I've seen. She's essentially saying he got what he deserved and they should have just let him kill all of them. That's how it came across to me. I didn't feel like any of the jedi were at fault aside from Sol being kind of creepy. I also found it funny how she wrote her self insert space witches extremely aggressive feminists lol.
The irony: IF Brendok truly had been portrayed as a kind of exotic, unique Force nexus/Vergence (due to the aftereffects of The Great Disaster, as a result of Marchion Ro and The Nihil), both amping up and disorienting Force-sensitives/Force-users (including the 4 Jedi visiting the planet), a lot of what happened in the plot would make sense. A planet regenerating itself in a supernatural way through The Force, after being nearly destroyed just a hundred years ago, is a fascinating concept, considering the existence of planets like Dagobah, Tanalorr, and Planet X. But, the creator(s) of this miniseries didn't decide to focus on that. Headland's thinking, regarding Star Wars storytelling, takes the form of a Mobius strip.
It would make sense if it was explored thru dialogue. Why not have the 4 Jedi experience and talk about the amping/disorienting feeling? Why not start the series with The Great Disaster? A lot of potential for a compelling story, but put in the hands of creative and emotional toddlers.
Could have had potential, and it seems like Headland thought this would be enough of a success to make another season. Too bad her legacy is the worst Star Wars project ever made. Unless the next movie can break that record.
"we didn't specifically say the witches created them." meanwhile in episode 3 of the very show she wrote. Coral says "I carried them" and Anisaya says "I created them."
Her career is about branding herself as an intellectual by using catch phrases and visual cues. This is also why she is wearing glasses in all the interviews despite not needing them.
The only thing i can think of to try and defend her is that maybe there is still some sort of twist in the final episode that she doesn't want to spoil, so she tries to talk around it and pretend she doesn't know. Like for example maybe the witches are lying about them creating the girls and it was someone else. If that's the case i don't think it will make the story any better though.
@@juipeltje This whole series has been a disaster and a train wreck, so it makes no difference what happens in the final episode because it's gonna get mocked and ridiculed either way.
The True Sith established by Darth Bane was making sure Dark Side pretenders are terminated quietly...making sure that the Jedi, even Yoda never discover their presence. The True Sith will never allow even those Lesbian Space Witches to thrive.
This is literally just damage control. They’re so incompetent they didn’t realize how poorly this would be received and how bad their own writing actually was. So she’s trying to rewrite now.
It's enough to make you want to throw your phone at your TV or screen! It's like these mofos weren't even in the same room as they made the show. This series is written like a game of telephone. As it goes on, it doesn't make sense or resemble WTF it started as. Jesus... 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️

@@Aurumfae I know she made the kids. I wasn't making an argument against that. I was just adding more detail to the conversation. Mother Aniseya didn't use the Force to full on make two kids out of thin air, she channeled the vergence to split one into two. Meaning we haven't been given the explanation for the origin of the first being that Aniseya split into Osha and Mae.

The key: “we discussed this……we’ll let the viewer decide.” Translation: “We couldn’t make up our minds but decided to produce a show that made no sense anyway and just call it a myyyyyystery.” And now that there’s a “dust-up”, it’s our fault for “complaining” that nothing makes any sense. If Lousy Headcannon had any other job, she’d have been fired years ago for incompetence.
You know what would have been amazing. Actually seeing the twins being created. It could have tied into how Anakin was created with Shmi. I don't really follow the absolute lore behind the creation of Anakin, but if it was the way how Palpatine manipulated the midichlorians in Shmi to create the perfect apprentice and used the witches technique, you have a a crazy story there. Actually make the creation of the chosen one a canon event. I don't trust Disney to do right by the idea at all and hopefully they are to braindead to even to think about anything like that and ruin it with bad story telling.
Me too, I have a bad feeling they're going to somehow tie Plagueis to the Brendoc witches, to where he used their coven and abilities to create all the force "clones" he experimented on. I reckon that's what Leslie, Pablo and that stupid story group have came up with.
@@thedarkjedi117 Lol it's sad really that they don't care about the lore, all those books and just simply being Faithful to them; because the Plagueis novel is such a really cool, creative story. At this point I just believe Kennedy and her minions in that story group at Lucasfilm actively do this to just spite us Fans. Because they know how much we care about the lore.
@@magonus195 good catch. I just laugh at the comparisons to the original George Lucas vision when there were contradictions in George’s own work. Either George was a genius in leaving those in there for fans to ponder or he just missed it. But one thing is clear from Acolyte that I can appreciate is that “point of view” is clearly a theme running through the whole show. And that’s kind of shoved in your face in Episode 7 with literally different camera angles of the same scenes from Episode 3 if you didn’t see it earlier.
I remember what my grandfather said to me. "I don't care what they tell you in school. But The Acolyte is trash." I've believed him ever since. The end. 🤘
I don't understand about this "conflict thing"... Jedi doesn't know anything, just heard girls fighting, got in, started talking, Mae shows up, "Mom there is a fire!" After this moment... why fight? why show your powers to turn into a "demon"? To safe Osha more quickly? Ask fucking Jedi for help... save the kids together... so fucking stupid
They might go down a path where they were created with help of the Sith. Darth Tenebrous and Darth Plagueis getting these witches to do some experiments for them, so that they do not reveal themselves.
It's absolutely INSANE that all of us are being subjected to Leslye Headland's evolving views of Star Wars and the fact that she's been given control of reshaping the entire lore to fit her perspective.
its cuz you must know and understand what people (not allowed and don't wanna say it) are BEHIND lesley, bob, kathleen, al of them have very strict orders to fulfil, and if they don't they get TERMINATED * pew, pew * exit stage left
What is the logic being the "creative" process? "Jedis are at a random planet doing something..." You should know what is the purpose of them being there first. They were really writing the show on the fly.
I think she did two movies before this, but they were romantic comedies or something? I dunno. I just know it wasn't a genre suitable for Star Wars, and that such a massive budget shouldn't have gone to someone's first step outside of their usual wheelhouse. Disney management is a clown show.
Anaseya literally says "I created them" in episode 3. I don't even think headland wrote this series, I think she came up with the basic pitch, based on frozen like she says, and a rough plot and had other writers fill in the blanks and now she's trying to back track
What was she supposed to do? Even if she told the police nothing can be done without a cooperating victim. Before all that crap happened, anyone who spoke out would have their career and life ruined and no one would be punished, or in the worst case they would end up mysteriously commiting dying. And this is all assuming she actually knew for sure what her boss was doing, considering for a long time it was assumed that these women were willingly sleeping with him to further their careers. Not to mention it was extremely likely she had some sort of iron-clad NDA where she could be responsible for any financial loss (for instance if she spoiled a movie before release) that could likely be stretched to include personal details about her employer, since as the assistant she could easily help someone stalk him, sell the personal information for personal gain, reveal addresses and whatever other crap that one might consider private. Just imagine if your boss was a piece of crap and you had to spend the rest of your life being blamed for the actions of someone who had complete control over you basically, especially financially. This isn't to say I disgree with you, I just think it's an uncharitable view of things. Of course I personally believe everyone is responsible for the faults of the society they benefit from, and if there is some sort of inequality a person is responsible for stopping it by force or they are complicit, but many people would disagree with that, saying that it's wrong to blame someone by association, but then that would make killing civilians of a country that is ruled by a dictator objectively wrong whereas Hiroshima and Nagasaki were totally justified because every one of those people had a responsibility to stop the Emperor and the military or vote to stop the war. Obviously I'm being hyperbolic to illustrate a point, it's obviously not the same thing but it's like blaming a car for someone being killed in a crash. The vehicle facilitated it but the agency does not lie with the car, even though the car could have conceivably stopped it if it knew what was happening and was able to engage the brakes. Mass shootings happen every day but we blame the shooters, not the society that created an environment and situation that allowed a shooting to happen, and for allowing the mental condition of the shooter to deteriorate to that point. It's the difference between implicit and explicit responsibility, illustrated by the trolley problem, where you either explicitly murder someone or implicitly allow the murder of several others, and everyone has a different view of where to assign blame. To be clear, however, I think everyone is responsible for the state the world is in, and that everyone who thinks things are okay the way things are is explicitly responsible for the suffering occuring in their own country and implicitly responsible for all of the suffering that occurs in the world, and that therefore everyone is a piece of crap who definitely deserves to suffer and die for exactly as long as other people are allowed to suffer and die.
I'm no writer, and I keep getting ideas for plots that would be received far better than this confusing mess. I really should note these down somewhere, shouldn't I?
Yeah even if it’s just a vague idea or a broad idea always record your ideas! I’m sure there’s someone online who could help you flesh them out and bring them to life :)
The idea of the threads is a concept that’s been in Star Wars for decades, as is the idea that the Nightsisters draw from the power of nature, all the mildly interesting concepts are just reused and botched from previous material
You know what, let them do a season 2. Please let Disney invest hundreds of millions into a show where they continually to lose money so they'll sell the IP quicker.
They will never sell the ip lol, profits made comes from selling junk at disneyland and its parks. They prob dont give a shit if they dont earn money on the show itself, cause stupid ppl will pay for the junk sold at the parks
That's chump change to Disney. Last year they generated 88.9 Billion in 2023. Have a net profit around 30 billion. Unfortunately we are stuck with them. I've been wanting the NBA to get rid of Disney for decades and they recently renewed with them again for TV rights.
My impression of Lesley is that she likes to grab ideas or cool things from other places then puts them together with patchwork without putting in the care of why those things were effective to begin with. Her view of qui Gon suddenly being fascinated with Anakin shows how deluded she is. And this seems like sub par writing. Anybody can brainstorm and pull ideas from other artists but it takes a good writer to reverse engineer why and how these things happened. And how to rework it for their work of art
I was going to write this, her interpretation that Qui-Gon was fascinated with Anakin was kinda a false flag. When he first met him and started to understand what he may be you could see it troubled him more than fascinated him. Like finding a snake with tits, he marveled at Anakins existence but truly troubled what it meant. Headlands take on the Qui-Gon/Anakin dynamic was also wrong, she never really paid attention that the Master/Padawan relationship was deep and their connection was built not born from seconds of watching two kids play in a forest like some creepy loner with a bag full of sweets...we see it in the dynamic between Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan when he tells his Padawan that he is ready to take the trials, we hear it with Obi-Wan raising concern with his young Padawan/Knight Anakin with his rashness, We hear it when Dooku discussed fondly his relationship with Qui-Gon. All of these cues just that the Master/Padawan is developed from experience each other and seeing mutual growth due to their relationship..Headland misses this
Headland is a good example of someone that prefers their self insertion of Star Wars over the original. There's nothing wrong with self inserting oneself into a story, we all do it, the issue comes when someone who creates stories self inserts into a pre-existing story. These people are not creating stories, they're re-writing history. They have now lived long enough to become the monsters that they pretend to condemn on social media.
Well, if Leslye doesn't remember the plot of her show, it's probably because she did not write a single line! The more she speaks about it the more it feels that it was given to her! If you put Filoni in the equation, you can see the people who like to destroy Lucas's Star Wars and make their own.
Your opening made me think of something. The best stories are those which you can follow naturally without thought, then you learn more and more that you mever noticed the deeper you go. It almost looks like they're trying to force the second part to happen without the first part.
My issue is never if politics or a therapy session is put into art. I don't even care that much about contradicting cannon. It's only a problem to me when it's not in a well told story. I think there's plenty of room in star wars for different force using factions that view the world differently. I also think there's plenty of room to explore whatever psychological stuff they were trying to explore with characters in this show. That stuff just can't come before having a good story
Disney doesn't want fans, they want consumers that buy into anything without question. The content of the product(s) or service(s) is secondary to having it sold to the public and them buying a million toys to their children which they force to consume the same trash. I think they're simply trying to scare off as many fans as possible to replace them with 100% lobotomized sheep.
I wish interviewers would ask real questions like "How does it feel to get your name attached to massive waste of money and example showcase of amateurish show-running?"
I am so glad she is doing these interviews, she has no idea what she is talking about even with questions framed in her favor. 'Why' did they die instead of 'how', the question everyone actually wanted to know.
All I can say is ''It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt". "The twins can never be as powerful as Anakin on their own." This is why they must combine back into one being that will easily be more powerful than Anakin. The twins must 'face their fear and sacrifice a part of themselves' (their individuality) to ascend (become one woman). The power of One. Created by the power of two (the twins). Created by the power of Many (the coven). The most powerful female force user in the galaxy created by women only. The force is female. Anakin is no longer important or special.
Leslye Headland Just forgot the exchange between Mother Koril and Mother Aniseya I carried Them I Created them Episode 3 The ep. is so unforgettable, even the showrunner forgot it, Why the fuck am i remembering this shit 🙄
I'm pretty sure Leslye unironically thinks Plagueis _did_ create Anakin, and so she wrote in her OCs as the source from which Plagueis learned how to do it. It's like this perfect mix of ignorance about the lore, complete lack of media literacy _and_ the narcissistic arrogance of using the 180 million dollars and complete creative freedom you've been given to publish the silly fanfiction you wrote when you were 14 and first watched the prequels.

The flashback ep wasn't a memory by someone with parts of it being able to be misremembered, it was always what really happened.

What was she supposed to do? Even if she told the police nothing can be done without a cooperating victim.

All of these cues just that the Master/Padawan is developed from experience each other and seeing mutual growth due to their relationship..Headland misses this
Keep fighting Theory, never give up on what you love.
Headland is a complete hack. I don't know how she got hired for this project. No, wait - this is Disney, so yeah, I know exactly why she was hired.
She probably has dirt on people due to being Harvey's secretary.
@@abrahambobst4602they aren’t worried about that, they probly just rewarded her because she’s been a good little sellout this whole time
"yes Yes" damn i love that meme
It says so much, with so little.
no no no, you misunderstand- it's "YAASSSS YAAASSSS".
Lesley Lego head was hired to help replace old fans with new modern ones. It’s why old Star Wars knowledge was not required.
Wait a minute, so you’re telling Leslye headland pulled a Harvey Weinstein and cast her wife as main character in her show?!
@5:30 The one lesbian said "I created them." The black lesbian said "I carried them." They did say they created them in episode 3
And the next line Koril says as well "and what will the Jedi do when they discover HOW you created them"
They all have split personality like the show creator
Woke racists changing their stories. Not like they are making a career of it…
We should get Faloni to have his input
Other way around, black one said created zabrak said carried
The zabrak mum also says something to mother aniseya about "what if they find out how you created the twins?", in episode 3.
Found you via Red Letter Media. Your commentary shows insight into the lore surrounding star wars. Subscribed. :)
The idea of them being super strong in the force while showing hardly any potential in force usage is crazy.
leslye headless shouldnt be in charge of running a bath let alone a show.
Hey theory, we got more from subscribing to you than what we do with Disney+. Keep up the good work my dude 👍
Or they just merge to form the presence in the force that gives birth to Anakin...would be neat to watch the fandom tear itself apart.
Leslye Headland Just forgot the exchange between Mother Koril and Mother Aniseya
I carried Them
I Created them
Episode 3
The ep. is so unforgettable, even the showrunner forgot it, Why the fuck am i remembering this shit 🙄
Its insane how much Disney has stepped on the Star Wars lore at this point..
Well said
Good guy Theory, helping us Star Wars fans get through these troubled times.
Headland comes across like she has severe brain damage to the point where she contradicts herself constantly and needs drugs just to utter full sentences. KK thought this was the right person to give 180 million dollars just to further DESTROY Star Wars?
Absolute horrible story telling. The damage control is insane. She’s absolutely seeing all the criticisms of the show.
It really is insane how much these people Lack even a basic understanding of the source material. This is who is getting hired for these jobs? It feels as if they give zero F*cks about respecting this widely beloved story that they have been given the opportunity to be in charge of? They don't comprehend how much they don't understand Star Wars. So much so that IT HURTS! (They also don't understand anything about quality storytelling/ character building & world building as a whole) Yet these people act like They deserve these positions? Out of all people, HOW are these who they want to be creating Star Wars content..? It's ridiculous.. I don't understand how things have gotten this bad that NO ONE can step in and Fire all of these inadequate people..? The world needs people to put their ego's aside and just bring in truly passionate and gifted individuals artist's, actors, writers, set designers, sound design, you name it, we need a shift that shows improvement.. Things have been bleak for far too long. If they could bring in selfless, talented and passionate people it could really help get ourselves out of this depressed hole that we've been stuck in. This feeling is a natural response if all we have been seeing is these soulless detached narcissistic individuals are who is in charge. It's awful, it's fake and it's forced. They don't just Not grasp Star Wars. They don't understand the creative process as a whole..
There's genuinely talented people out there who haven't gotten a chance to work on projects such as this and I really think it's time those people get the chance to work on these projects.
Random Honest question: When it comes to the Acolyte, What is so SPECIAL about Osha and Mea for them to be the Main focus, the Main characters, etc. She has ZERO personality, 0 depth, 0 intricate aspects to her character.. Yet we are supposed to believe All off this is occurring around the twins as the main focus...? She has the personality of a cardboard box. There's so many things that are very wrong with this sad attempt at telling a star wars story.. There's so many issues with this story tho.. None of what they have made actually portraits accurate star wars, accurate jedi, etc. etc. How did this cost $180 million..? It seriously does not make any sense
This show comes off so cheap & tacky.. It's not just the terrible writing & terrible acting. It's horrible set design, horrible world building, horrible camera work. It all makes this show feel so small. Like it's filmed in a single green screen room.. Grasping at awful CGI techniques to try and force any bit of a false reality into this mess of a show.
It's so far from Legitimate Star wars movies that it feels as if this whole thing is a big parody.. A very expensive parody..
Headland got the Acolyte, Biden got the presidency. Merit isn't always the deciding factor.
plan successful
Kk is literally hiring people who have no idea about star wars (you can research about it) so long as you're a woman kk will hire as cartman said PUT A CHICK IN IT AND MAKE HER GAY
Why do we even have to deal with all this BS?
Horrible.
Wait, so they have essentially rewritten the Phantom Menace, but much worse?
Edit: the more I watch the video, the more confused I get
That's exactly what they have done. They have defaced the franchise just because they feel threatened by the original creator. That's why I have no hope for my childhood franchise anymore. I have more hope for Star Wars theory's Vader movie more than I do for any star wars project going forward
I feel like this is a south Park episode and we all wake up have a laugh and forget all about it
@@samparsons5867 tbh i only care about andor season 2 because the writers in there are incredibly talented. One guy helped with uncharted 4s story and the other with house of cards, and also OFC TONY GILROY who wrote most of andor, rogue one, the bourne movies, nightcrawler and more
I posted on one of the official SW FB posts and said that all she did was take elements of George Lucas’ story regarding Anakin’s origins and rewrite them after she and the cast have had the nerve to complain about Lucas’ Star Wars. They deleted my comment and several others that were along the same train of thought.
@@seynpurrp Who cares? None of it (Rogue One, Andor) is legit canon anyway. Disney Star Wars is a farce, all of it.
Hey man I just wanted to express my condolences for your loss, Star Wars was a great franchise and will be missed dearly
yo look at how they basically depicted Thrawn...now imagine Darth Plagueis...
They can't even keep their own continuity straight because in Asoka they established that you don't need to be Force sensitive to use the force. This just makes a mockery of everything George Lucas was trying to tell through his episodes.
