You really dont feel it much before 80 mph although its there of course but pretty weak. You start feeling it at line 60 and it becomes bad from 90 and horrible at like 120.

But frankly, highway handling and G wagons are almost a contradiction on terms. Thus, while the review was quite well done, I found the reviewer biased given that he owns the new new vehicle and seems to find endless imperfections with the older version. It comes across as "why in the world would anyone want to own a piece of trash like this?" which, of course, is absurd. I've also driven the 2021 version and have to say that the handling is better, the technology is nice , the ride smoother, the steering more responsive ... and the dashboard chock full of bells and whistles ... but I still prefer the old school version that i drive around town. I also own a full size Range Rover for the open rod, which is like riding first class in a 787 Dreamliner. Neither G Wagon can hold a candle to it, but i love them both equally.
One of the old G63s passed me on the M25 a couple of years ago doing about 100 mph. I heard it coming about half a mile away. It's the best sounding car I ever heard

There's no denying that the new G is better in nearly every way. From handling, comfort, practicality, etc. But that's exactly why I don't like it as much as the old G. From the old school feel of the steering to the exposed screws, it's like buying one of those vintage cars that's been all redone with modern touches, except this one is from factory, not a custom shop.
I own the 16’ g63. Biggest reasons why I don’t get the new one is because I enjoy the rough ride, same intervals as the old old ones and the retro look. But the rough ride is my favorite. Just so much character. Great vid btw! Cheers!
