Iowa teams is built to run 40 minutes a game. They need a center that can keep up. If you watch LSU and SC games there centers are big but slow, they use strength to bully the other players. Iowa center uses finesse. They do have a center that is big and strong but offensive wise not as good.

Everyone likes to bring up the last time they played freshman year, but Clark was not the focus of the offense on that team. She was the 3rd option.
There are successful D1 coaches who don't have the basketball iq of Clark or Bueckers. Even a casual fan is gonna get drawn in with two chess masters in their element.
Iowa scores 90 a game. Clark gives you 30, so 60 comes from the other players. That's a lot of points every game. Clark shot 20 threes, but they get a ton of makeable shots. colorado had the PAC defensive player of the year. Clark ate her alive immediately. UCONN has a great defender. 6:00 the only argument against lowering the rim is the shooting..theyre used to playing on 10 foot hoops..even tho it would be easier to shoot on a lower rim. theyll argue against it..but its clearly needed...Clark is better than any WNBA player ive ever seen..shes better than Candice im pretty sure...like already right now Clark might be the best female ever to hoop. shes cash. she could be the girl to make the WNBA popular as long as she doesnt go woke and call NBA players out for them shouting them out and saying "number 10 on whatevr team is goin nuts" and the girl responded to Boogie Cousins or Lillard one of the 2 and was all bitchy like "say my name or dont say it at all" or some petty retweet....like no ownder no one watches you. i think it was Dolla Dame
The main argument against lowering the hoop is practicality. Hoops pretty much everywhere are normal height. Lowering means systematic changing or separating hoops for girls which is just not practical and a load of inconvenience for no reason. Besides dunks aren't exciting unless they're high flying. Lowering the hoop isn't going to solve the high flying problem. The solution is just develop more players like Clark that have a bag, handles and insane range rather than dunking on low hoops.
