Good concert etiquette from this crowd. Quiet in the quiet parts. An occasional shout out. Huge cheers for every song. No one talking during the performance. 2023 gang - this is how it's done.
Good luck with experiencing that during the next tour. I predict many loud sing-alongs. And I'm not saying that's wrong.
@@louisrios5546 Singing along is good. Sing along the lyrics that are meaningful to you. Do it. But don't sing every song just to show you know the words. Don't scream the words when the singers are singing softly. I'm all for singing along sometimes, but have respect for your fellow human beings. We are all fans there. We all love the band. Let us all enjoy the show together.
@@hqrueck The reason for my comment is the problems that have been happening since the pandemic at Phoebe Bridgers concerts. Have fun, be in the moment, dance, scream real loud - all good. It's what we all do. Have as much fun as you want, but don't ruin it for others. Don't rush the stage and talk during the performance, trying only to get the perfect TikTok video. That's the problem. Be in the moment - just don't be a jerk.
@@rickrocks007 As a longtime Phoebe fan who was engulfed and nearly trampled at the start of her gig this past weekend, yes! I do also think it's important to remind yourself that you're at a gig, people tend to ruin everything, and these things are bound to happen so it's best to not get too upset or annoyed or the whole show would be ruined. At the end of the day, its nice to see so much passion for the king of rock, and I'm sure the 2023 boygenuis tour won't be any different . Best to adjust your crowd expectations if you're lucky enough to go!

Also, the song ends with the sound of an audience cheering which is apparently audio from this audience cheering for Me and My Dog.
They said in an interview that it was a really special moment for them.

I have been a fan of Julien Baker for quite some time. I was really excited by the formation of Boygenius this is a female version of Crosby, Stills and Nash. I can't wait for their second albums release.
I've always thought of it as a modern version of TRIO (Dolly, Linda Ronstandt, Emmylou Harris). They even have matching hair colors/vocal ranges, haha
This performance of Ketchum, ID always gives me goosebumps. Glad the boys are back together this year. 🤘🏻

I saw julien play in a little Hobart pub in 2017, after loving her for years. Kinda sad that I’ll never get such an intimate show again, but also so stoked to see her doing so well and looking so happy!
the only way i can describe this performance is that it’s just art. it defines art. i don’t know how they can create an atmosphere and environment that feels so perfect it feels like a movie. boygenius
i come back to this video like every other week 😭 its so amazing to me how phoebe, julien and lucy can all work together and make something so perfect. their voices mesh so well together! i cant wait to see them this june
I’ve been a fan of all three since the beginning of their individual careers, them coming together to form the holy fucking Trinity supergroup made my damn life. Saw them when they toured the EP in 2018; they each did their own solo set and then played the whole EP. Seeing them in July and I am fully prepared to cry my face off for an hour, they are just 🤌🏻

I absolutely agree about live experience, and I hope to see them live one day, especially Julien. Her live performances here on TH-cam have always such an intensity and show such deep emotions, it is incredible. Phoebe's and Julien's music have touched me more than anything since years.
