When you get it more sorted, look into under/over idle timing. You can play with that and get it to chop harder. The wider the timing swing, the more it "lopes." That's how some of these tuners do the "ghost cams." You and your brother really knocked this out fast. Great work gentlemen. 👍
We played with that a little bit but it was giving us more of a chop then a lope how do u run the exhaust on your trucks a crossover pipe or equal length
@@CCAutoWorks I've seen the equal length setups. They sound good, but I think it would hang too low for normal driving. Plus it would be really tight on the driver's side getting past the transmission. Also, fuel tank is another obstacle on the driver's side. I went the route that I did for multiple reasons.
@@CCAutoWorks it’ll get there, hell mine is just a stage 3 cam also but I did upgrade the valve springs and did a trunnion upgrade on the rockers so I can go in the higher rpm’s with a little peace of mind.
@@EdsGarage99 I debated the trunnion upgrade and even went back and watched your video again when u done yours but I looked like a pain so I said send it lol I think a lot of mine is the factory torque management I haven't turned it down or off yet
Brother I can't wait to get to that stage!!!! I have a ways to go. But I'll get there. It seems everyone is changing something every 2 seconds. Updating, updating, updating!!!! Hell no they are just wanting to charge more money!!! Lol. Oh look we change this bolt!!! Extra 2 grand!!! We changed this wire, extra 5 grand!!! If UT works great leave it alone!!!
Rockauto, china and Mexico to the rescue. I have noticed what you said about the starters on cammed stuff, even the cam lockout mod motors have it. Think it might be something to do with being on e85 and race gas stuff. Glad you got it going C&C, got a nice rumble to it 👍🏻
Somehow i missed the start up video 🤷♂️I appreciate the mention. Im with you 100% on finding all these mixed up who knows parts. Knock sensors. Most likely was the coil packs.😂😂 i did the exact same thing except mine was the drivers side lol. Now i need you to put your "lil brother" on a plane to bama so he can tune mine lol
Great to see you got it running smoothly after the intitial start up. You guys got a nice starting point to go ahead and tune further as you put some miles on it. I wish I had some advice for you guys going further but I'm learning this stuff myself too. I'd like to know how much it has changed the drivabilty of the truck and where you feel the power really kicking in. Also I'm curious how the MPG has been affected, and well let me say this.... because it sounds better you may be a little more lead footed haha. My cousin gets on my case when he rides with me in the GMC because I enjoy hearing the 454 😁
@Ralf1NATOR they are also messing with comments. I did a video on disk brake conversion and C&C commented I only saw it way later and then only on TH-cam Studio
China 🤣🤣🤣 C&C putting in that work. Awesome video my brothers 👌👌
Appreciate it brother
