It amazes me the ingenuity people can come up with. I bet this was converted back in the 70s. People did stuff like that, travel on the road with homemade bus campers even more than today. That pipe in the very back is probably the "poop pipe".....lol! I've always wanted to make a "mobile man cave" out of an old school bus. 😅 Those old Ford logos are cool, the gear and the lightning bolt. I've got one that came off my brother's 56 F100. Has really cool patina. I can't wait to see this one run....and I'm betting it WILL. Thanks for sharing, Richard and Christina!
You're welcome David. I agree, the thought that went into planning the interior is cool. This was a great rig years ago. A mobile man cave is an awesome idea!
Wow, another cool bus! You two are a riot!! It must have been a common thing to turn Cool Busses into a camper! Anyway, Thanks for showing us the COOL BUSSES! MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!
Right on. That Torino was an awesome car in its day. Someone has taken the doors, so the interior is weathered badly. Still, it could be salvaged. I show it more in the video of this yard released on June 10 2024. th-cam.com/video/qTd4kmad-b8/w-d-xo.html&lc=Ugw34l5tSqUqAbHRj194AaABAg
Ford trucks had that lightning bolt badge on the hood whether 6 or V8 thru '64. They started putting the V8 badge on 8-cyl F series in '65. My dad's '63 F100 had that lightning bolt emblem, and it was an original 292.
I am still thinking about that one. It would be tough for sure. The cylinders had water up to the spark plugs for years. I'll take another look next time I am there.
Richard the pizza on the roof this being used for chimney does a sheet metal mechanic 31 years these were used on a roof of a building for a pipe Chase they are made differently some of them have a cat that comes off and then they also use for stands on the roof for pipes to run across the top of the roof different applications
Needs a complete restoration and probably a new engine and transmission. Would cost a fortune to resurrect that. But you can't do much with it unless you have the title.
wow! a partridge family bus-nice to get that fixed up-breathe in Christina-I see another clean up soon!!-nice going guys!!!
😂😂😂❤❤❤ notice I mentioned not going back to the house to use the restroom😊 for that reason I'm in!

I could make a video just of the personal ads in the back of that old gossip paper😂 Marry Christmas to you❤
Merry Christmas Ron!
That was the waste connection at the right rear of the bus. Wash your hands Richard lol👍👍🇨🇦
😂I told Richard. The restroom was right above it. We just didn't connect the dots.
Nice show sir 😃👏👏👏👍👍👍👍❤❤😍
Still getting Partridge Family flashbacks. Your killing me Richard.
That was a cool little bus in it's time thanks for the video
Get it running please
This bus conversation is not as good as previous one. Thank you for the short on this bus. 💕👊👍💯🎄
Merry Christmas dear friend ❤
Wow a fixer upper nice place to live
I love these skoolies. Hope you guys have better luck than the last one, though there's a 30% chance of that ever happening.
I just love these older style school busses
I keep looking at that brownish gold Gran Torino in the background behind the bus. That yard has some interesting stuff.

The hole Richard was poking around in the right rear corner is just below the commode, nothing good can come out of that one!
Wow that's cool as hell yeah man that sounds great ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
What a treat
Another abandoned vehicle filled with trash; it never seems to fail. Those trees surrounding it really show how long it's been there.

Ah, good to know. I thought the V8 badge syle was used long before that. Thanks for the info!
You two need to take this one home with you it's 64 Ford....
I'm thinking this is a '62 Ford. It will be interesting to see if it can be made to run and move.
Interesting, the interior has an entirely different style; more open, more light. don't want to be watched, pull a screen. XD
Right! No A/C, screens to keep the bugs out, they were little to no fril campers.
These are the days they really took pride in their automobiles. Now a days it's quantity over quality.
I Love following your adventures, however could you guys maybe get some better microphones? Thanks
Noted, thank you.
Richard come on show them you stard that crane and truck

The owner has the title. You're right, if it is to be used as a road vehicle again, a more modern engine/trans swap would be the way to go.
Try saving it
